Good evening, and congratulation on being one of the six accepted to enter this game. My name is Stefan Yohnescu and I welcome you to Vlad the Tepes's castle that has now come under my name. I will be your humble host and guide about the castle along with my wife. In this castle, you will go through trials and tests. If you survive these little tests, you will be known as the champion survivor of this ancient and deadly castle. Along with these tests, come information of Romania's past that will either help you, or defeat you when it is your time to take the stands. In this castle, you will see all that has been hidden before. With open arms, I welcome you. Below is a ticket for you to board a plane and once you arrive in the coutnry, you will meet the other contestants and will be brought here by my page. La revedere till we meet upon the steps.



Many know of the ruler, Vlad the Impaler by the name of Dracula. However, our story begins centuries latter. The castle is now occupied by two vampires who have taken residence there after fleeing for their lives. The castle had been taken by the state, but the vampires had paid enough money to buy it back. The villagers are suspicous and weary of the castle. On occasions they try to exorcise the grounds until they are frightened away. They know that there are two strigoi, or walking dead and shifters, in the castle besides spirits of the dead that have no rest. In this role play, you play as the humans who have won this little acceptance letter and enter the castle. The vampires have put up obstacles in your way to decide who is the best host for them to feed off of, besides give a history lesson. However, the longer that you stay there, will you uncover what the hosts really are and escape before its too late? Will the vampires turn on each other? The story is up to you.

I want semi-literate players! No one liners are accepted. You must have one paragraph minimum per post. You must be active several times a day to keep up for I like fast paced role plays. If you do not post often, your character will be killed off by one of the vampires. This authority has been given to myself and beingdifferent since we are both the GM's of this role play. This fate also befalls anyone who disobey the rules.

Personality: Straitforward and easily annoyed. But other than that a really nice and cairing person.
Short Bio: Pretty much a normal kid. His dad raised him and he gets good grades in school dispite the fact he is almost always daydreaming. He loves the supernatural and especially vampires. He'll read any book about vampires.

Personality: Natasha is a quiet girl, and is not prone to talking much. She is often lost in thought, and spends much of her free time drawing in her sketchpad. Natasha is brave at heart, and is rather skeptical of the world around her.
Short bio: Natasha is currently enrolled in college to get her Art degree. She hopes to one day become a famous sketch artist.

Personality: Stefan generally appears charming and is definatly a lady's man. He was a flirt as a human and that hasn't changed one bit. He is also a gentleman and doesn't stand for disrespect to his person, ladies, or anyone close to him. He also has a passion for history. He hates those who bash the Romanian culture before they even arrive and believes they are closed minded idiots. He likes to show that there is more than meets the eye.
Short bio: Stefan had been a very young boy during the time that Vlad Tepes had been tortured and killed. Riots began to fill the streets and he had been among the villagers who had been taken in to be tortured. He had been rescued however by a vampire who had fancied him. Of the years, she had raised him as a lord and hoped to make him her lover. When she had turned him however, he hated her. He had never wanted to be a strigoi. No matter how she taught him, he was still rooted to his beliefs and religion. He had staked her and fled. ((yeah, not so short XD. I almost wrote more.))

I'm curious, Damien, so please indulge a few questions I have. If that's okay, of course.

You said this takes place in Dracula's Castle, but will said vampire in question have any interaction with our characters?

Do any of the humans involved know each other before the incidents here?

When do you think we can begin the In Character?

No no, the questions are welcomed! Dracula takes no part in the role play XD. It just takes place in Vlad's castle. The two vampires that are being played will interact with the guests daily, or should I say nightly? The humans do not know each other before hand. The IC will be started once all the spots are filled. Sadly, I have to wait till i have everyone accounted for. The rules of the vampries I will post after everyone has signed up. Its like a guideline about how to hurt a vampire and what not because I put information together from different things I have read and heard.

I don't think my second friend is going to join, Sorry. Maybe you should post a link to here in the Rolplayers wanted forum, maybe that will get more people?

As for her goals, she will do anything to get her way, not caring who she puts down or what chaos she cause as long as its what she wants, she will do whatever it takes.
Short bio: As a child she was always put aside, being that she was the youngest child, out of seven other kids. Always feeling weak and defensless against her own siblings, that has shaped her into the bully she is today.

Personality: Tyler is a very open and friendly person, and if he decides he likes you he'll trust you completely. He's very clumsy and is easily embarrassed but is very observant and always finds a way to get out of whatever trouble he finds himself in. He's also very polite to girls in particular.
Short bio: Tyler grew up with a single mom and was always taught to be well-mannered and to look for the good in people, which has proved to be Tyler's downfall. He was taken advantage of a lot by older kids when he was little until he finally realized what they were doing. Ever since then he takes notice of everything to try to prevent anything like that from happening again, but most of the time his better nature gets the best of him anyways and he ends up trusting people too much for his own good.

Oh! I almost forgot. I need to put up a few guide lines about the vampires. These rules are basically what can and can't harm them.

1. The sun does hurt them. A brief time in the sun gives them a very mad sun burn. Forced to say out, they burn.
2. holly water does not harm them.
3. Crosses do not harm them.
4. Garlic is just something they are allergic to.
5. Being staked will kill a vampire, but they won't turn to dust.
6. vampires can drink each other's blood and is viewed as intimate.
7. Vampires don't have to drain their victim.
8. Vampires cannot enter someone elses house if occupied unless welcomed into it by the owner.
9. They don't sleep in a coffin.
10. They can turn into bats since they are a type of strigoi like a werewolf.
11. Their eyes change colors. Red, they are angry and thirsty. Yellow, they are excited.
12. A vampire bite either feels pleasurable or it hurts like hell. It depends on the person they bite.
