What are you doing for Halloween? ( )

Postby Remæus on Sat Oct 20, 2007 5:20 pm

I don't know what I'm doing yet, but it's probably going to be a last minute affair. Throws some fake blood on, grab some random clothes and a few large blades, then wander the neighborhood.

How about everyone else?

I have no clue what I'm doing. I'm actually thinking of just staying home and handing out candy this year.

I'm probably going to just go hang out and watch some movies with some friends. Too old to dress up....=(

Heh, I'll probably end up working, cause I don't have a kid or nothing, plus I don't need to go out and get shit-faced with a bunch of people I don't know at a party. That's asking me to get in a fight haha :P. So, probably end up working, go home, and play some video games or something :P. Oh, and I'll probably eat half the bowl of candy, cause hardly any kids come down my street. WOOHOO! Sugar high haha :D

Ahem. I'm being Jem, from Jem and the Holograms- from that ridiculous 80s cartoon. If that doesn't tell you how old I am, I don't know what will. =D

I don't know what I'll be doing. It's a Wednesday night, so I'll either be at home working on papers, or if I don't have any homework to do, I'll be going to church. My boyfriend will be working. I might call our friend Matt though, just for ht hell of it, and have him come watch a movie or play Wii or something.

THe most I'll be doing for Halloween is this Friday. The church is having some thing for the kids. "Trunk or Treat" I think it's called, where people all park their cars in the line, and decorate their trunks for Halloween. Instead of kids going to houses, they'll be stopping by each family's trunk. I'm just going for the free food before the festivities begin. =D My trunk is full of college books.

I may buy some candy incase kids come to my apartment door, too. I don't know how prevalent it is to go trick-or-treating at an apartment complex, but I'll be ready, and I will thoroughly enjoy the candy even if I don't get any customers.

ANd I just watched that intro for Jem and the Holograms...I think it'd be awesome to dress up as one of them. I am currently letting one of the episodes load on YouTube since I have never seen the show before. =D Kudos!
Today, Friday, October 10, 2009, is my last day on RolePlayGateway.com.
Everyone give me lots of love, because I shall be handing lots out. <3

I'm not sure what I'll be doing for Halloween itself. I know we are having a little party on the 27th.

I still haven't even decided 1) if I am going to dress up and 2) if I do, what I'll be.

Anyone have any cheap suggestions? :\

How about you be...um...*thinks real hard* I do not know you all that well, but maybe you should be a cat? It's a classic.

Yeah, Skuld. A cat would be pretty cheap. Just buy some ears and a tail, and maybe wear it with a black dress or something. Also, just go to a Halloween supply shop and look around and you're bound to find some cheap little things to give you ideas. Maybe I should do that so that I'm at least doing something!

Hahaha!

That would be amusing! My roomie and I sleep on opposite floors, though. I'm not sure I'd get away with it regardless.

XD

And thanks for the suggestions, guys. I'll take a look at them.

Halloween? Well, I have booked the entire week off from work on holiday. So, whatever I do, I will be getting paid for it, and a holiday is well needed for me. Not that I am going anywhere in particular, but a break from work and the opportunity to chill is always a good thing.

On actual Halloween, I know I am at my friends' house during the evening, they are having a wild party, and as such will be getting rather drunk. So, I will be there, once again, to ensure no one kills each other (It nearly happened the last time they had a party there. Without me, it would have been like a big homocide orgy). And, as the only non-teenage, and only sober person there, I will be able to serve that role well.

Although, I do have a certain fear. Halloween has a habit of being the source of long term uber drama within my circle of friends, so I am rather curious/fearful of what will happen this year.

I am sure, however, that the evening will be a good one. ((Drunk teenagers are always fun to laugh at))

I live in a small Protestant community, I literally don't know anyone who won't be at church because it's a Wednesday. I'll end up staying home and reading a book, most likely.

hand out candy to the high school kids....>.> They come every year and one year I scared the feces out of them by walking around the house and telling them to take a handful of candy (we get like 5-6 kids, so a handful of candy each :))
