Gauntlet Legends on the N64. That was a fun piece of childhood.

The original Quake, even if I exclude all the mods like Team Fortress and Future vs. Fantasy. Never before and never since have I poured years of my life into a game.

Half Life(1 & 2), Which are pretty good examples of narrative where the main character does not under a single word. Warcraft 2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Cheynobyl, Fallout 1&2 plus New Vegas and... the mighty Doom.

Shin Megami Tensei Series: Persona 3/FES, 4 mainly but others from the series too. Persona 3 has to be one of my favorite games of all time. I will always love that game and play it.

Assassins Creed Series. I haven't played 2 yet, but i've played 3 and 1. Both of them I loved so i'm sure 2 is just as good. :P Who doesn't love going around stabbing up people?

All of the Pokemon Games. My favorite being Black or Emerald. I also really liked Pokemon Battle Revolution on the Wii, as well as other Stadium games. It made battles much more realistic. N <3

Silent Hill Series. Perfectly executed games which can scare the hell out of you all of the time. Of course, some of the newer ones aren't as good as the older ones.

Guitar Heroes. They are fun to play when you get the chance. ^^

Samba De Amigo. I really used to love this game on Wii. It always put me in a good mood.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Classic, a complete classic.

I must say Age of Empires 2 by Ensemble studios, but among the newer ones it's a tie between portal 2 and half-life 2. (episode 1-2 included)
Death and fate have taken the stage.

I totally loved SSB for the N64. It was great, and had all of my favorite nintento characters kicking the crap out of each other.
It just made me giddy to win with Jigglypuff or Link :D

Other than that, my favorite games would have to include:
1. Kingdom hearts (All of them, including the ones for handhelds.)
2. The Ratchet and Klank series.
3. Pokemon games.
4. All of the Elder Scrolls games.
5. Phantasy Star (Online, and Universe.)

There are so many to choose from, but all of these are just great as it is. Go ahead and hate I don't have any FF games up there, but truth be told... I never liked that series...

Fallout series, Battlefield series, first two original Halo games, ORIGINAL Call of Duty games, ORIGINAL Medal of Honor games, and maybe some of the GTA games but i wouldn't really call them my favorite. It all depends on how original the game is, the graphics and the plot and gameplay, it's all a matter of does this game really call out to my sense of adventure.

I don't think I'm forgetting any...

Bioshock and Dues Ex are probably my favorite games... and I really want to play System Shock...

Okami. I has a special place in my heart, and I've played it through a couple of times. Bioshock 1+2 are the next games that comes to my mind when I think of my favourites, and then Silent Hill 1-4. After that there's the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and Skyrim. I haven't played the other games in that series, so I wouldn't be able to say anything about them. There's one game in particular that stands out to me, and that is Chrono Trigger.
Ich bin deiner Macht erlegen
Ich verliere den Verstand
Endlich kriechst du mir entgegen
Halt mich fest für immer
Immer dann, wenn du einsam bist
Wird dich mein Herz befreien
Immer, wenn dich der Wahnsinn küsst
Werd ich tief in dir sein
Tief in dir...

I'm still a sucker for Runescape. Don't hate me, but I'm slowly being absorbed into LoL. Oh, and I'll always have a soft spot for Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland. ;o
