Wow, finally some that I've heard of! Woohoo!

As far as anime content goes; LOVE RURONI KENSHIN! I really didn't care much for Samurai 7, but the character backstories were great! Also... I kind of disliked Gundam seed. It's sort of the "step over the boundry" that Gundam took. Although I'm sure there are lots of people who'd like it.

Anyway, thank you all so much for the links to music videos/opening/endings. I really appreciate them, especially considering my anime exposure isn't what it should be at the moment. :P

Uhmm...I haven't heard of any of the animes you guys are talking about o___o

Here's my list..
1) Hanasakeru Seishounen (I really like the strumming in the beginning)
2) Full Moon wo Sagashite (Her voice sounds angelic)
3) La Corda D'oro ( I love listening to the Ave Maria duet)
4) Bleach Ending 1 (Life is like a boat)

I would also recommend you watch these animes too :D

Wow, I haven't heard any of these except for Bleach (which I don't particularly care for, but that's not the point.) What is Full Moon wo Sagashite about? Or Hanasakeru Seishounen? I'm always looking for new anime to watch... and I thought this thread died. So I'm truly happy to see someone. :D

Fav Songs in Full Moon: "Love Chronicle" "Eternal Snow"

Full moon wo sagashite- This girl, Mitsuki, is 12 years old who really talented in singing. She has problem's with her throat which is only curable through surgery, which might result in her loosing her vocal chords and her ability to sing. (i'm pretty sure she has a tumor) Her grandma, on top of that, absolutly hates music and is digusted in Mitsuki's interest in singing.
She gets visited by 2 shinigami(Takuto, and a girl whose name i forgot) , who tell her that she has only 1 years to live. She runs awat from home, determind to become famouse and fullfill a promise her a boy named Eichi. Since she is too young to audition for a singer, the two shinigami help her and transform her to a 16 year old girl. She is able to live out her dream and stuff, but she runs in to complications and people who question her. (The ending was like bitter-sweet, but the song in the last episode was amazing!) PS: there is also romance

Fav Song in La Corda: Ave Maria duet with Len and Hino

La Corda D'Oro- is one of my fav animes, next to this other anime, Gakuen Alice. La Corda D'Oro is about music school; violens, flutes, trumpets, bass, etc. They play alot of songs throughout the anime. Again, it was a little bit of romance :D

Full Moon wo Sagashite made me cry in the end =( I remember when i watched it my parents were like

They sound great; and it sounds like you really have a thing for music-based anime. :D Don't worry about the thread, it hasn't technically died, I just hadn't seen anyone post in forever. Thanks for the descriptions by the way.

Mai Hime has like some Epic music! Especially the song, Valkyrja by Yousei Teikoku.
Vampire Knight has some great music too, but if it came to emotional music, Clannad and Naruto wins hands down. I cry when I listen to those two OSTs (;_;).

I absolutely adore Princess Tutu. The story is amazing despite being a Magical Girl series (I don't normally like those, hence the 'despite'). Below is the opening theme in full:

and the Ending theme in full:

Ending

Lastly, a little treat! One of the best AMVs I've ever seen involves Princess Tutu. It is played to a great song:

Moved this over from the Music subforum! Just sayin', this isn't a thread to unload your dislike of anime, or anything.

Panty and Stocking with Garter Belt Series. Most of their music is really good and gets stuck in your head. <3

I personally love the first song that the anime Blood+ opens with. They change it a few times later in the series, but Aozora No Namida is the name of the first song they use. I also particularly love the first end song to Blood+ as well, Kataritsugu Koto. Haji plays Johann Sebastian Bach's "Cello Suite No. 5 in C minor" on several occasions through that series too. One last song I loved from the series is this really kinda eerie song that is sung during the series on certain occasions (no spoilers) and it's called Diva.

I love the music from Inuyasha and Sailor Moon most. I grew up on Sailor Moon, and came to love Inuyasha. My favorite songs are Moolight Densetsu (S/M) and Dearest (Inu).

I watched AIR the anime many years ago, and I'm proud to say that the opening song and some of the background tracks still exist in my iPod. :)
