It’s one of life’s great mysteries isn’t it? Why are we here? Are we the product of some cosmic coincidence, or is there a god watching everything? You know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don’t know, man. But it keeps me up at night.

I think that everyone has an impact on the world (ie. each individual effects the lives of those around them), but I hardly can believe that we humans as a whole are here on this planet for some great purpose. Being one who does not believe in the existence of God, I don't see it as some wonderful life journey of growing and becoming better people. I think each person has their own reasons for existing, but as a whole, our overall goal appears to be discovery - discovery and advancement in the way of technology and science. That, to me, is a great life goal.
I'm sure the technologically advanced superior beings out there would agree. xD

There is a theory that we grew from the earth. No, not like plants!! -_-* But from minerals! Before there was land. When there was nothing but clear seas. The minerals started to change and fish and other sea creatures came about. Then land appeared and evolution continued it's course.
I kinda like this theory. XD

I am an athesist but life on earth being nothiing but a pratical joke greated by a supreme being would make sense to me. It would explain why humans make such silly faces and noises during sex.
In general life has no true meaning. An indivual life on the other hand may have meaning to other living being who have interacted with that indivual life form. It made an impact on others in It's life time, that is truly all we can do.

I prefer the theory that biological matter came here by an asteroid and grew from there so really we came from mars!

Well the answer to you question is very simple.
WE are here right now because we like to role play and disuse things about life.
It's so easy if we didn't like to role play we wouldn't have signed up on RPGateway thus we would be posting in the forum thus this topic would never have been created.
