Glinda continued reading but stopped when she heared what Elphaba said. 'You know I cant help it!' Glinda said, nudging her. 'You should ask that cutie out!! I think he likes you...' Glinda smiled then turned back to her work when the teacher glared at her.

"Please!" Elphaba spat. "He's just after homework, he doesn't want anything to do with me." She folded her arms and looked over at the boy with a pinched expression. The boy himself, looked embarrassed and turned to Glinda.

"Well how about you? You wanna go out after calsses let out this afternoon?" He seemed to check himself and back-tracked a little. "My name is Aaro by the way. But I think I know who you are, you're Galinda, aren't you?"

'Gee, your cute and all but no!' Glinda said, shocking the boy. 'I'm very busy and you tried to copy my friend!' Glinda said. 'Maybe when you can act be nicer to Elphaba!' Glinda said . She was shocked at what she just did and turned red, hiding her face in her book.

Elphaba smiled crookedly, somewhat amused at Glinda's newfound blush, and otherwise impressed at her response. "You heard the lady, get lost! And take your failure-of-a-life with you!" She turned back to her book as the boy stood dumbfounded and gaping.

Turned down by tow ladies at once, how can you beat that. "Yeah, well you don't have too much to be picky about, Green Bean. I'd say that I'm a prize catch as far as you're concerned."

As soon as he was finished, Elphaba rose to her full height, her shoulders hunched inward, and her spine curved like a snake ready to attack. Her hands hung ready at her sides and she grinned like a maniac. Anyone could tell that something bad was about to go down.

'Elphaba! Sit Down!' Glinda hissed trying to pull her back down. 'Elphaba!' She hissed again before hiding her face in her book again, still red.

Elphaba looked down ag Glinda, smiling wickedly, the back up at the boy, who's name she'd forgotten by this point. "So..." She cooed in that particular voice of hers. "I'm not to be picky he? Not too... choosie?"

The boy could tell that he was standing ankle deep in it by this point and backed up. He knew better than to start a fight in class, and with the quietness of her speech, he was more than likely going to be the one to get in trouble.

"Well, I'm not a beggar!" she growled. "Do you know why? Because I'm not a chooser. I don't want anything to do with the-" Her voice became shrill and sarcastic, and she motioned with her hands as she spoke. "unspoiled masses. The clean, white-collar collective who foccuss so hard to look down their noses that they run into obsticles head on and call it bravery." She turned again to Glinda, looking down at her from her height. "You two would make a perfect pair." She spat, collecting her book and bag, and leaving the room in a swoop.

The bell went and Glinda grabbed her books quickly and flounced out of the classroom. She went back up to their room and lay on her bed facing the wall. Not in the mood to do anything.

The door crashed shut as Elphaba moved infront of it. She growled a little when she saw Glinda there already, hoping that she might get some alone time before their next class. She retrieved her current read from the shelf and tore out the door again, heading down to her favorite spote beneath the tree in the courtyard.

Glinda winced when she heard a growl and crawled up in a ball, as soon as she left the room. She grabbed a book of the shelf and slipped on her reading glasses. She never wore them because they made her look weird.

Elphaba twisted down the marble staircase nad down into the courtyard. It was there that she found her favorite apple-tree unoccupied. This tree always seemed to bear the greenest apples she'd ever seen, and they were perfectly blended with sweet and sour. She'd always found a sort of kindred with the tree, for the pure and simple fact that no one wanted to eat a green apple.

Glinda put down her books and peeked through the window. She saw Elphaba and she jumped back from the window when Elphaba looked up. She would be soo embarrased if Elphaba so her in glasses. Glinda went back to her bed and continued to read her book.

When the class bell rang, Elphaba packed up a few apples in her schoolbag and headed down to class. She slipped into the lecture hall and sat in her usual spot toward the balcony. It was easier to hear in the balcony, but she could hardly see. She supposed it didn't mattermuch, cinsidering she was a kenetic learner anyway.

Glinda slipped her glasses back into her back then hurried down to the lecture. Taking a spot near the back by her self she sat, not in the mood to talk to any one.

Elphaba took notes as usual, occasionally looking over to see if Glinda had shown up afteral. When the blonde finally flounced in and plopped in the back accross from her, she returned to her studies without a second glance.

Glinda wasn't in the mood to talk or take notes. But she did get our her notepad and scribble. UGGGh when was it going to end.. Glinda scribbled with one hand and the other hand held her head as she looked out the window
