Why do you always leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cricket couldent stand it. He felt like he was going to die. He layed there. He shouldent of left his real mother. Even though he couldent stand her.

Raven trotted over to the other horses. He neighed to them. He told them that they had to move on now.
If the didn't, they would not be able to find any food, they would end up starving.

Horse's name-Dreamer
Gender- mare
Age-4
Some history- Dreamer has just had a foal. But due to the drought, the baby died. Dreamer's stallion did not find food in time. So she ran off, and is serching for food.
Raven saw the mare. He trotted over. He saw how her ribs were sticking out, because she had not had food in so long. He groomed her, and took her into his herd.
This is Raven. He is the son of one of the best herd stallions in history.

History: WindSong has just been forced to leave her herd. After half of her herd died of starvation, she left her mother and the rest of the herd looking for food. When she came back to where she had left them, the only thing left was their hoof-prints. WindSong comes across Raven and his mares; Dreamer and Luna.

Raven walked over to WindSong. He nuzzled her. Then showed her a little patch of weeds, that he had found. He Watched all of his mares, he kept a close ee on everything.
Ravenneighed and stomped his hoof, to get the herd's attention, He told them to follow him, and pushed his mares along.
They needed food, fast.

Wind Song nickered thank you to Raven. She nibbled at the patch of weeds. Hearing Raven trying to get their attention, she cantered over to him and stayed close. She didn't want to be seperated from another herd.

She had got her hoof stuck in a hole, then fell over.She couldn't get up to follow, she neighed for help.

WindSong nickered to Raven, frightened. She quickly came over to where Dreamer was stuck. She nuzzled Dreamer, then tugged at her mane trying to help her out. She wanted Raven to come over and help, she didn't know how to save Dreamer.

Raven came over in a hurry, hearing the mare. He got his neck under her's and pulled her out of the hole. Nuzzled her.
He told Dreamer that they had to move on anyway. It was even more risky with a hurt mare, but they were wasteing daylight, they had to move on.

Dreamer followed her stallion. She limped a bit, but at least she could walk. She knew that everyone needed food, or they would end up like her foal. Her foal had starved to death.

Raven nuzzled Windsong. He hoped that she was happy in the new herd. He wanted her to stay with him. He would be a good stallion to her. Raven always took very good care of his mares.

WindSong was happy, although she did miss her mother and the rest of her old herd. She knows that she would have left sooner or later anyway. She liked being with Raven and Dreamer though.

After hours and hours on end raven picked his head up, in front of them was green grass. He warned them to stay to the side of the fence that was around the green grass.
The grass belonged to people. They had cows grazing on it. Lucily, the cows were in for milking, and so were the people. The people only came in the summer, and were probably going to leave in a matter of days. Raven was going to wait untill it the people had gone back to the city, but he knew that the mares may stare by then, and not make the long wal to get to the grass.

Dreamer grazed, she was SO happy to have the grass. Her stallion had never provided this for her. She nuzzled Raven, happy she was part of his herd now.
