Waya shrugged, unable to answer Val's question. Val then remembered that he could not speak vocally in wolf form. val wondered why. perhaps he didn't feel like it, or just wasn't able to do so yet like a few of them can. As he felt Waya nuzzling his neck, Val closed his eyes feeling the comfort of another wolf after a long while. Suddenly He felt Waya demtarialized as if like he was made of sand. Val opened his eyes and gasped- "Waya!" - he yelled as his heart jumped. is he alright he wondered? It made sense how he got here in the first place without trouble coming his way. this was one of his powers. suddenly, his caretaker came in and asked. "Val, who are you talking to? " -Val looked at her with blinking eyes. and looked infront of him where Waya was just standing- "Uh...i'm sorry i was having a dream..." - He lied as he pretended he just woken up. She sighed- "oh i see, well that's normal i suppose." -She looked down recalling the incident him that happened and knowing very well that she could have helped him and prevented him from getting hurt further.- she remembered Heaven who leaned over and spit in her face," you stupid bitch its your job to take care of him not sit back and watch him get tased by a bunch of white coats." Vals caretaker wiped her face and said to Brooks," control her." -she said with a cold voice hiding a bit of emotion with brooks and Heaven from the outside. But heaven would have probably figured how bad she felt for making that mistake. still she continued walking as she wiped the saliva off her face saying "disgusting..." -she then smiled as she heard Mr. brooks tased her for doing that. Although the wolves had her sympathy she'd rather not let any wolf to insult her like that. But for her to use violence against them was not something she enjoyed doing but sometimes it was necessary. She would leave the rest to the guards. but sometimes, even the caretakers, and guards, needed to be reminded not to use force when it was no longer needed. her mind came back to the present as she looked at val and remembered telling him before not to snap even if he the guards really deserved it. It was already troublesome enough to tell the authorities of val's incident and to persuade them that Val did not start the whole thing. They were lucky to believe her even though the guards claimed val was an animal and thus attacks even if you look into his eyes. Being the fact that she watched over Val for a while and studied him she countered her history with Val and her experience in working at the base here. She argued that she was there, and the guards provoked Val. Her voice wasn't heard. they ignored her claims and made clear to continue. it was impossible to persuade them, it was too toruble some. The guards could still do what they wanted, the one that was knocked out looked at Fiona and gave her a wink and smooch from a distance as she looked at him with disgust, finding him to be quite a jerk.
"You should have kept walking, Val you know that. These guards are sensitive because of having dangerous weapons like you in the base." -She said, fooling herself. Val then growled at her and charged the gates to express his anger towards that comment.- "Don't give me that lecture! are you saying i should roll over act like i can pushed around whenever the guards feel like it? are you saying should abandon my pride as wolf!? i've accepted the fact that i'm powerless with this collar on me, and against a whole army of whitecoats and soldiers around this base. and have behaved cooperatively with everyone. I'm tired of it. i'm tired of these low pathetic excuse of guards treating us like we're all a bunch of pushover prey to them. you were there, that guy asked for it... and You...." -he snarled at her.- "you did nothing! You have the power to tell these men to back off! and to report to higher authorities should they not listen to you. so what your afraid they're gonna tase you or something? or hurt you? your just like the rest of them!" -Val breathed hard after yelling loudly like that. he bruised his shoulder from tackling it but he barely felt it, too angry to feel any pain. She looked at him surprised and sighed- "Your right, i apologize. your my responsibility, and i' know i'm stronger than that. I promise you that won't happen again. however...i do believe that you did deserved some of that punishment..." -Val rolled his eyes- "Are you blind?" -he shook his head unable to believe what she was saying.- "I can't believe this.." -he transformed into his human form, and began to laugh like crazy. he couldn't help it. this whole base was crazy. He couldn't believe how stupid the humans here were. and his Caretaker also being influenced by their stupidity. But no...it wasn't stupidity, it was probably just fun to them. to the guards, white coats, and caretakers. -her caretaker opened the cage to slap him across the face.- "Pull your self together number 8!"
He continued laughing but was now sobbing at the same time. This life was terrible, and he had held in all in up until now, crying while laughing and turning around not wanting her to see his face having lost his mind. "Val..."-she said gently placing a hand on his chin to look him in the eyes. but was stopped by Val's right hand which grabbed her left wrist and placed her hand gently to her heart and motioned to speak.
"your heart. do you still have one?" -she was silent not able to answer his question. "Never mind, Just give me a few minutes please...I'll be fine after that, i promise." -he sniffed while trying his best to calm down his crying. she then turned around to walk but spoke- "Alright but we'll have to leave soon since the class with your fellow wolves will began in about 10 minutes." -Val stopped sobbing and looked at her.- "Class?" -She nodded as she continued.- " you have a class with your pack, then after that you get your free time with them in the lounge area and after that you have lunch. After lunch you get free time with the pack until 8pm, Perhaps they want to watch you all and see how you react to each other, they will be feeding you there also i believe dinner will be live deer." she waited outside for him without saying another word. - Val then got up to wash his face at a sink, and got dressed again, changing his black t-shirt with another one since it was stained in some of his blood. He was slowly recovering. Once he got outside he was great by the caretaker and 4 other guards with rifles who aimed at him and backed away a little as if expecting him to attack. He rolled his eyes and said.- "It's alright, i'm not going to do anything stupid like i did earlier today..." -he brought both of his hands out offering any of them to handcuff him. The caretaker was the only one brave enough to handcuff him trusting Val wouldn't snap at her. he then got handcuffed and was tugged at his collar by Fiona his caretaker and forcefully placed him at her right side as they walked towards the classroom. "Behave number 8. i won't hesitatae to use it this time..." -she said softly to make the guards feel at ease as well as to warn Val. He nodded as he breathed out to make himself feel loose and calm again. That was a good cry, he needed that and felt a whole lot better. Of course it would feel even better if he wasn't still a prisoner here. At least, he could help his comrades by being emotionally strong for them. However Val had to get rid of that lingering feeling of hate and sadness on his mind before heaven would notice. Although it didn't matter since there's no way she'd blame him. But he looks at the others like Tamio and Drake, who seem to be holding up. Drake's confidence was so strong he practically asks for a beating or two. He stopped looking down before he would get lost in his own world. he had to keep alert in order to stop certain directions for possible escapes in case a break-out occured. He memorized certain guards positions at certain times. There were possible doors that led to freedom but were guarded by solid steel doors and guards that were outside. Val could hear them out there, so if anyone was to go pass these certain doors they would get shot in an instant, unless someone posed as a caretaker, white coat, guard and waved at the snipers and guards once they got out to let them know that they're just leaving for something important or to ask permission to let them go. Most of the time the snipers and guards would let people through unless there was an emergency prison-break, or when everyone's attention was needed from within the base. Val spotted a communication's station were guards sat down to watch the monitors on cameras and to contact people instantly all over the base. That area would have to be cleaned out to prevent the outside from getting info, however within 5-10 minutes they'd know something was wrong if know one answered the guards to let them know everything was okay. Val had a wild imagination, if only he could spot where the key was placed he'd get it and free himself from his speed restriction. He caretaker would sometimes bring it but even she was cautious and didn't trust him that much. it was wise of her to do that in case Val would snatch it from her. which was why he could only do it during training or tests to see how much speed he improved. Val's speed was up to the point where he could create after images at his top speed. They then came to a door which led to a class room. he could smell Waya's scent, he was on his way as well. they waited infront of the classroom as if to wait for the teacher.- "If it's alright can we wait inside? i'd rather sit and wait there instead of stand up waiting for people here." - He whined as his caretaker looked at him with a glare before looking back to the hall sighing.- "unfortunately number 8 we can't do that...Maybe if another wolf comes by then we can all probably go in." -Val then nodded and wondered to himself why it was like that. Then it hit him. it would just be 4 guards, and her alone. The white coats were passing by keeping an eyes on him. val was trained as a soldier and could take these guards out quickly with little effort even in handcuffs. It was a smart move in Fiona's case, which showed how much she didn't trust Val. he was even planning on that until now. He was constantly thinking of how he could try to do it. He hoped if Any of his comrades arrived and entered the classroom, Val and any of the wolves could to take them all out at once but not without getting a few shots which was minor but would still hurt.- but those white coats...blast...they might come in as well. Heck there's obviously going to be a camera there so it'd be pointless. Plus even if Val and a fellow wolf had control of a classroom. chances are a smoke grenade or whatever they'd throw in the class room would knock them out making the attempt worthless. This was troublesome, Perhaps if he was lucky Drake, tamio, and Heaven would be one of the first one to arrive so that they could have a head start. Drake might probably be able to break the collar off of him with effort, Tamio could probably borrow Val's power to quickly eliminate anyone close to them. Heaven would probably be able to spot or manipulate the guards on finding the key and retrieving for her. Storm would be a lucky chance as well. But chances were her powers were sealed like Val's were. Anca would most likely have a better plan than Val's, and winter could distract the guard by jumping around and also knock them out. And then there was Waya, Although he could heal, there was that other ability of his, also another distraction thing but he would have to use his fighting abilities instead of that ability. Val figured Waya and himself could take them all out here at once as soon as they were reunited. But the damn white coats...there's was too many to cause such a scene...Surely security would get tighter once every member of the wolves were in one spot. There was no point in thinking too hard, he'd have to discuss with Heaven about it first. otherwise he'd get himself killed. It was better to discuss the plan when it was lunchtime. or better yet Dinner when all wolves had around 2 hours of time together.
