Yeah that would be cool

I was worrying incase I was the only one from Oscar :)

I think our characters should have arranged a meeting in the main city, cos I think that where the humans are coming from

Hey Polka, how would you mind meeting my character in the beginning? I'm striving to make my guy a healer, and i guess he could learn the basics from somebody who already knows it.

Yeah sure,

I will make sure when the humans arrive in Oscar I bump into you

heads up though my character is quite nasty to people she doesn't know and very closed off :)

It's Osar, Polka, without the 'c' >.<. You make it sound like that brand of cold meat... Anyhow, you three are accepted. Just one thing, Vizzer, the cigarettes/matches are fine by me, however when you're transported your clothes are changed instantly - he won't have jeans, whether it's by his choice or not.

We have enough registered characters for me to begin work on an IC thread now! Woot! I'll edit this in with the link or post it later today. Thankfully, the majority of you have joined already so I won't be needing those public slots.

Good, Polka. Thats just the way i like it, gives us some good conversations/arguments to start with :D

Hurry Safisan! I am so ready for this RP, i haven't been so pumped about one in a while. I'm sure we're bound to go through plenty of...adventures :D

Ok Safisan.

By the way if anyone want to meet with me in the beginning, that's fine by me but I'm fine with starting alone, and I think I would prefer doing so too.
The accumulation of their filth will foam up around their waists, and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout, 'SAVE US.' and I'll look down and whisper,'no'.

:( I hope it's not too late...

Name: Jack Roy
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Hails from: Cranston, Rhode Island
Species: Human
Possessions: In his home in Osar there was a book of basic black magic, a purple tunic, cloth trousers, a white tee-shirt he had on when he got there, and a pair of brass knuckles.

Appearance: Jack is 6'5", and is well built due to a career in construction back on Earth. He's lightly tan, and has short black hair. There's a scar running from one corner of his temple down to his right cheek of his face. His eyes are blue. He has normal sized features, except for his ears. One ear is considerably larger than the other.

Personality: Jack is eager to get the job done. He'll do almost anything it takes to get to the finish line, even if it means injuring someone he loves. However, when he's resting or not... working or something then he's fun loving and sarcastic around his friends. He has trouble getting to know people, so he's quiet around people he doesn't know.

Short bio: On Earth, Jack Roy was a sucessfull free-lance construction working and demolitionist. He didn't have a family, but a nice apartment in one of the lesser parts of Cranston. He often spent his Saturday Nights at his favorite restaraunt with his friends, however, the rest of the week he spendt his time on the construction site, or locked up in his home. At the age of twenty, Jack took up learning the ropes of a demolition's expert. He spent days with a man by the name of Guy Greggor, learning the different quirks of dynomite and C4 and remote charges. Five years later, he'd become something of an expert... destroying buildings, then rebuilding them the way his client wants it.

You're in good time, Heroic. I'm going to have to ask you to edit your profile - we've yet to arrive to Osar or have barely gotten there, so you wouldn't have a month's training in black magic-- on that subject, please try to avoid the FF staples, like -ara and -aga spells and the like; naming each spell separately and having it relate to an aspect of nature in particular gives it an air of mystique. This turns what was once 'firaga' into 'Flame Tongues of Doom' (it's a horrible name I've come up with in seconds, yet it's exponentially better than something so blunt.)

Thanks in advance. So soon as those changes are made you may use the IC.

Guys, I am writing up the IC now, so I'll likely edit this post with the link if nobody's posted yet by then. No PMs will be sent this time. Everyone please bookmark both OOC and IC and keep track of them from now on.

Oh, okay. Woops :P. Okay, all fixed? I was kinda confused on that, I dunno why I didn't ask, heh. I need to go and think of clever spell names...

Nice job, you may use the IC now.

Everyone, the IC is up. Please be sensible when posting; there's a lot of us, so posting too frequently will make the busier bunch fall behind.

Ok, so should we start in the same way you did, or could i start my character as if i was in the palace already, but have a flashback to how i got there?
User avatar

The flashback works okay so long as you haven't been in Osar for too long.

Guys, please watch your posts! Not only do you need to let others post, you need to post in the 300 word minimum. On that matter, Polka, please do so in the future; if you have trouble doing so, tell me.

I was thinking, wouldn't the people of Osar give the humans some basic training before setting them on their own paths? Like to test their capabilities, give them a headstart so on. Afterall, they were summoned to save Orsa right? And a little investment, goes a long way.

What do you think about giving our characters a 'Introduction to weaponary/magic/food/so on so on' session, from there we can have them realize their potential classes a little earlier (and probably boast around with their friends)?

At least it'll also give us an idea what we're dealing with, like what language spells are spoken in and so on.

A smilie costs nothing, but in the internet, it is EVERYTHING.

Hear ye, hear ye! These are some Roleplays I think are worth looking at, read all about it!

Well they are pretty desperate right now, regardless, I've planned a little side quest to start off with. Adding to that the NPCs that'll go along, everyone should come out of the first arc with a good definition of their class and skills.

Are the houses for the humans close to each other?

I do not mind one bit Cloud. As a matter of fact, I set my character up, curled into a ball, frightened and alone in the woods, where she would need help the most.
