Professor Xavier just so happened to be coming across the main courtyard when he noticed John in a standoff with a couple other boys. He then saw him kick Corey, and he decided that enough was enough. He began to roll his wheelchair over to them as fast as he could, but he didn’t get to them before Aisu. He had already talk to John several times about bullying Corey, but it still seemed to have had no effect. He guessed he would have to try again if he hadn’t seriously injuried Corey this time.
“Would all of you please come to my office with me? I need to talk to all of you. Aisu, good work. I see you tried to stop them and at least succeeded for a little while,” Professor Xavier said, smiling at his newest teacher. He was proud of the boy who had really stepped up into his position, even though he wasn’t that much older than the students he taught.
“Corey, do you think you can walk? I saw how bad he kicked you,” Charles asked, looking down at Corey. She quickly nodded her head yes, but when she tried to stand, she only fell over again.
“Could one of you boys help her? As soon as I’m done talking with her, she’ll have to be taken to the hospital wing, but I’ll still have to talk to you boys,” Charles said, looking at the teenagers surrounding him.
