"So saying you and me, go find a nice safe...place where no one else is around...how do ya feel about that?" The words slipped out of the man's mouth, a casual invitation that seemed more fitting for a nightclub after the flowing of drinks and bad decisions moreso than a wrecked city in the midst of a waking nightmare that seemed to offer no end, no alarm to wake from the terror. Persisent, she had to give Christopher that.

Elia's response was simple. Stopping dead in her tracks while walking, the Russian lifted her boot and from it withdrew a hunting blade six inches in length. She gripped it in reverse style, the blade jutting down from underneath her clenched fist as she raised it just below her chin and stared back at Christopher with no uncertain terms in her eyes. "I hope you try, I truly do."

There was no time for a reaction with the sudden burst of percussion around them signaled the start of a new nightmare. No one had to tell the SPETZNAZ operative what to make of the sound -- artillery shelling. "Wha...American...idiots," she almost growled, trying to reach back into her vocabulary for the right word. They needed to move, and now. Turning back slightly. Elia could see the figure of Kevin motioning them toward a door. "Come on, I'll theaten you later," she said to Christopher as she took off in a sprint.

Christopher looked back at the fire they could hear from a distance and smiled. "I hope that's a promise" He said then turning and running after the two. Into the door he went taking off inside he looked around for the two. What did Kevin have planned, the roof, or threw the building. It was hard to think about as he waited for the two to come up with something.

He looked towards the stairs what could they do going up. Unless he had to see "Oi, you two get the hell out of here...I'm going to see what these American wankers are getting themselves into" Christopher said then looked to Elia and grinned "Don't forget you still have that threatening to give me" He winked then took off up the stairs.

If Elia would have been given more of an opportunity, she probably would have tried to break the Englishman's nose just for the pure enjoyment of putting the man in his place for a moment. Still, they had bigger problems to deal with other than his advances in the middle of the chaos. For the time being, the only thing that occupied the Russian woman's mind was making her way to safety. Clamoring up the stairs, Elia felt the rush of something moving behind her, a body slamming into the wall at the turn of the stairs. One of them, almost ready to pounce on her.

Turning and falling flat on her back on the stairs, Elia found the strap to her rifle caught around her shoulder, unable to bring the weapon to level at the man in time. With the knife still branished in hand, she back to try back-climbing up the stairs, trying to create what distance she could. Still, the thing was just too fast.

"Come on!!" Kevin shouted behind him, wondering what was taking so long. As he turned his head and looked behind him he saw Elia on the floor, and on top of her was an infected, he cursed out loud. Taking out his rifle he took aimed at the thing -Now chasing Elia- and fired. It was knocked back by the force of the bullet, giving Elia the time she needed to distance herself from it. He cocked his rifle again, and fired at the beast's head.

"That was close," He thought to himself, "Where's Chris?" He asked. He looked around, no where to be seen. He swore again, something he's started doing a lot of recently. "Elia, get upstairs and take shelter, looks like the bombs have attracted a horde of infected, I'll look for Chris," He said as he took out his Tommy Gun. He saw the look of disapproval on her face, he knew the women didn't plan to listen to him at all. He sighed, he lead the women into the room, and locked the door shut. "Sorry... it's for your own safety," He whispered.

OOC: Hope you don't mind me locking your character in the room :o, thought it'd add some drama.

Christopher had ran up the stairs quickly only to find one of them waiting for him "Bollocks!" He sighed out as it turned it's red eyes caught on him. Stepping a bit forward he gulped the thing didn't move just yet. "Heh!" Chris smiled then took off into a room off side of him the zombie began to room and ran into the room with him.

He was cornered and could here the others in trouble "Blimey can't you find someone else" The creature almost looked as if it was grinning as he spoke. "Ah, fuck it!" Christopher with bat in hand swung side ways smashing the zombie hard in the head. It wasn't out yet, he hit it again in the stomach and then again in the head. After a bunch of hit to the gut and the noggin.

As soon as he was finished he heard the foot steps of the two he gulped "Wait not now" Elia was pushed into the room he was in as he heard the sound of the door being locked. Christopher closed his eyes then opened them slowly "I'm going to kill him" He whispered.

Normally, there was no way that anyone was going to catch her offguard and shove her into a room and lock the door. Normally, she would have broken the man's arm for touching her, let alone trying to lock her away while he handled everything like a "man." Then again, normally Elia hadn't just been assaulted by a zombified corpse intent on mauling her flesh.

As a result, she'd been thrown into the room. By the time her disorientation from the attack wore off, the door was already locked and there was nothing she could do about it. Of course blasting the latch off the door with her rifle was an option, but it just seemed a little to drastic for the time being. Not to mention the fact that the young woman was acting anything but rationally at the moment, storming back and forth in the room like a rampaging bull.

"That...I'm going to cut his throat!" She sneered, finally planting her feet and standing still for a moment. In an instant, it seemed that all of her anger focused on Christopher. "I swear if both of you survive this I'm going to kill you when we get out."

Christopher looked at her in shock "Oi, what the fuck did I do?" He said right off the bat, the girl looked mad. Really mad, just cause he had a bit of fun messing around doesn't mean he wanted to be locked in a room with a Russian.

He rolled his eyes then headed for the window "Yeah tell yourself that" Taking his bat he busted the window open and headed out the fire escape. Christopher head up towards the roof making sure no dead was around as he climbed.

Everything was getting a bit odd "I get Naruto, running around thinking he's super boy..." He sighed as he got to the roof "Then I got an Alex Drake...big mouth and using it well" Christopher hopped onto the roof from the later and ran off to the other side as he stopped he looked off to where the firing could be heard. "I wonder if she would like me call her 'Bolly'?"

He smirked then shook his head and got up on the ledge looking out at them for a better view. Though it seems all that could be seen from such a distance was the bit of light of the guns. That was because as he looked up to the sky the sun and started to go down, a most terrifying sight.

Kevin hoped they would stay in that room, it was for their own good. If they wanted to live, and not be captured, then they had to absolutely stay in that room no matter what the circumstances. All he could do was that the male didn't break out, he expected the female to be more rational but the male but be trouble. He sighed, if he wanted to break out he's on his own, I ain't helping him.

Suddenly, the path in front of him was filled with smoke and nitrogen. A missle landed right in front of him, followed by several 12.7 heavy machinegun bullets. "Shit!" He rolled out of the way and started sprinting as far away as possible, still feeling vibrations of nearby nuking going on. "What to do, what to do!" He thought to himself. He came to a door, better take cover. He placed his hand on the knob, twisted, and pushed.

He would never have expected what came next. A smash from the butt of a rifle and he was tumbling backwards, nose bleeding. "Shit! An infected!" He thought, but all thoughts of infected were gone when a spray of bullets buried it'self in his chest and stomach. "The infected have guns?" was his first thought, but then he realized that the US army had gotten him. He felt a dart pop it'self into his hip, a flash of white, and he was out cold.

Blaine was walking along the streets, not sure of what to do, he was now stuck in the city and very soon the CDC was going to come and more than likely do something about the outbreak. Atleast he still had his uniform and mask, or else he would diffanantly be considerd destroyable, and they would first probably gas the place, then come in with another wave of soldiers that had great brutality and would more than likely shoot anything, including blaine. They also would probably be wearing HAZMAT suits, so he wouldnt be able to pull off a trick stunt to make himself look like he was in their wave. Unless they were going to do things differently this time around, but who knew.

Blaine just sighed and sat down on a bench still keeping his awareness level high and watching the streets around him. He heard gunfire and exsplosions somewhat in the distance, but not to far. His M4 was at the ready just incase any crazy shit went down, then he thought...what if the zombies change this time around?

Kevin woke up with a cramped back and hands that felt like they were going to rot off. He shifted, metal chains? Suddenly the memories came rushing back at him, the survivors he met, the US army bombing the city, the soldiers that tranquilized him, and yet here he was, alive. He wondered why they didn''t kill him. He positioned he hands at a angle, and prepared to untie the ropes with his wrists. BZZZ! He felt a jolt of electricity go through his body and saw a flash of white that blinded his eyes.

"Your awake I see," Said a voice from behind him. The anonymous figure laids it's hands on his shoulder. "Your not one of them infected, are ya?" The tied up Kevin shook his head. "Good," Said the figure, "Prepare to answer all of our questions, but for now, rest," He pressed a button on his remote-like device and the chains tieing him up released and sunk down to the ground. "Wouldn't want you circulation stopping would we now?" Said the figure as he walked out of the room. "The name's General Rarier, remember it," Said the general as he walked out the door. SLAM!! The titanium layered door closed, locking Kevin in. He wondered what was in store for him tommorrow.

Elia waited the room as long as she possibly could, waiting out the chaos that was going on in the world below her. It wasn't just a swarm of infected to deal with now, but instead a military population tearing through the streets with an agenda of their own. Gazing at all of this from the window through which Christopher had escaped earlier, the Russian began to find herself much more at home. A strange wave of a disease causing the dead to walk was something she couldn't handle, but this was a military operation. The city streets began to look like that bombed-out shells of cities through which her unit had operated many times before against Chechnya rebels and others. She began to find herself much calmer.

Eventually, once the patrols and their heavily-armed support had passed through the area and left it relatively quiet once again, she followed Christopher's footsteps in climbing out onto the fire escape and making her way back into the city. Escape was still her number one priority, but what was she supposed to make of the U.S. military and their intervention? These were probably some of the soldiers with whom she and her unit had been training just a few days ago. Was she supposed to fight them?

If the moment arrived, Elia knew she would kill one of them to live, even if it meant starting a war. The city was already a warzone all on its own. The Russian made the decision to stick to the rooftops for now and move quickly and quietly to the outskirts of the city. Someone would be out there looking for her, she told herself in an effort to preserve sanity.
