That will be all... I'm new here, so Yeah |3 I hope I can get to the meeting people portion and dive right into roleplaying, head strong, no remorse, just go straight at it!..

Ok ._.;; I'm afraid to just dive straight into roleplaying... I love to rp, but I don't know why I just have problems with joining them. It's like it's a tough concept for me to comprehend, so here I am! I hope I can get into the swing of things. This will be awesome! I hope I can enjoy my time here, and I hope everyone enjoys a new face :D

It is pleasant to see a new member who grasps the function of punctuation for their screen name. What you are about to experience is a forum both wide and diverse. There may be people whose opinions you agree with, and those you do not. I advise courteous politeness when encountering both situations. Also, please take great care in what role-plays you apply to. By being judicious you may avoid what you dislike and completely bypass any concepts which may become hurdles for you, rather than canvasses on which to express your literature talent.

I recommend practicing your character concept preparation for joining a role-play. There are a number of suitable areas and members, including myself, who might be willing and able to evaluate your abilities in that area. The site does require a number of posts from you in the various forums before your ability to send private messages will open up. I am also certain that a moderator or staff person will arrive to provide you links to required reading and offer further admonition about your stay here.

Even so, welcome to the site. May you find your stay enlightening.

I went to the character portion of the site instantaneously I got confused I wasn't sure if I should post a character or what, but I've decided I will await further instruction! I'm patient like that

I have a loose idea of who/what my character(s) will be, but other than that I'm not really sure on what I should do, as far as where I'm putting them will go.

Hello and welcome to RPG. It looks like you know what you doing when it comes to RPing. But if you have any questions you need answered then just ask. I am always up for helping someone out as much as I can. Also soon Ms. Sato will soon be along to help you out too so you will be well looked after here.

...this link is probably a place to start. This sub-forum, is a place to look for ideas about role-plays that have not started yet. It is under the Out of Character sub-forum. Taking a look at available role-plays is a matter of clicking on the Role-play tab at the top of your screen. The tab is next to Home and Account. I...personally would not use that system, but some wish to. Another place to find what role-plays are going on is to search through these sub-forae. You can create a thread inside one of those forums immediately, though I would not attempt to join one until you can send and receive private messages with the authors of those threads so that you can ask them.

One other thing to note, one of importance, is this thread. I note it because it confused me when I first arrived. When you are finished reading through the guides and such, and if you still have pertinent questions, I or the other staff members should be watching this thread. My best suggestion is to either begin posting in topics around the web site to either get to know current members or to send a few private messages asking what they think.

I would not recommend immediately creating a character under the role-play tab. Once you can use private messages, contact the GameMaster and see if there is still interest or stability in the role-play. One way to gauge a role-play is to click on the Activity tab once you have clicked on the title of a role-play which is under the Role-play tab. That should inform you whether there was recent activity in that system of role-play and what that activity was.
