Hello my name is Drakodylian but you can just call me Drako, Drake, Drakos or Dylian for short. Whichever you prefer, I answer to all of them. I recently created a new character species of tetrapodal chireptiliavian dragons called Dracosuchus, which you can read more about by scrolling through my list of characters. Unlike other fantasy dragons you typically see in mythical genres, I took a more scientific approach in creating a dragon species that tries to be less magical, more plausible and realistic in terms of natural evolution without straying too far in an attempt to also keep its majestic nature intact. I placed my dragon species in The Hidden Glen to start with.
I haven't entered the scene yet, but I plan to go into more detail about my dragon once I start posting and the story develops. I plan to use a long-term style to develop my dragon from a hatchling all the way to maturity as an adult, fully grown dragon, whilst getting involved in a little bit of danger and adventure along the way. If you're interested in joining me in the fun, feel free to jump in. It may take some time for me to post a response due to my crazy schedule, but if you don't mind having patience, writing fun stories and engaging in long-term roleplay sessions, I'll be slowly working on this project for a while as time permits.
Anyways that's about all I have to say for now. Thank you for having me on the team, and I look forward to sharing my various dragon species, concepts and ideas with you all as soon as I can. If you can't already tell, I have an affinity for dragons. So don't say I didn't warn you! (lol joking!). I like all different kinds of dragons, from aquatic dragons and sea serpents to land walking terrestrial dragons, dinosaurs and flying reptiles which resemble dragons, real life dragon species and lizards, just about every kind of dragon you can think of. But I've decided to start with my favorite dragon first, as it's the one cryptid I have that most closely resembles a wyvern or European dragon both in terms of nature and appearance, making it a little bit more familiar to most people already without having to go into too many details, as that could get more technical and complicated when discussing other dragon species.
Some of my dragons are herbivores or insectivores, but the one I'm starting with is a carnivore which resembles the classic spade-tailed, bat-winged, fire-breathing dragon that most people imagine when they think of dragons. Does this sound like your cup of tea? If so, well, you know where to find me.
See you there!
P.S. - I attached a few images to give you a conceptual idea of what kind of dragon species I'll be working with the most in design and character. I claim no credit for these images, but I hope you enjoy them nevertheless if you haven't seen them already. See you soon!
