Alright. TBH, I only stumbled across books 1-3 of the Maximum Ride manga adaptation, so I REALLY don't know much about the plot at all, so I'm glad we're doing something different. XD Anyhow, I'm thinking my character's story will probably start when she bumps into one of the other characters while looking for help, and they probably mistake her for a Vampire and capture her, meaning she'll have to earn their trust at first. Yeah... her luck isn't very good. XD

@Firebird18 No one, including you, has to worry about the plot :3 I just did that to give a heads up to those who have already read the book, so that if they find something similar about parts of it, they'll know why. I will help steer the plot along so that everyone knows what's going on and no one is left out. Don't worry about it XD And if you're confused just ask questions. By the time we get deeper into thing though, I'd actually appreciate it if you guys put your input into things. It's more interesting that way.

Just gotta wait for some peeps to sign up though!

Ah finally finished with Luxure... her personality is kinda wierd, so if anyone knows soul eater, think of her as chrona, a young girl who strives for family [Clannad] and an emotionless girl... all in one :DDD

Lmao, I tried to type a message three times before realizing I wasn't logged in. Herp derp.

I'm EST time zone, it's currently (now) 9:47 pm for me, and at least four days of the week I will be at work from 3-9, although I check in before and after this time period. Ichigo (and anyone else interested) I feel like I should give you a way to contact me to see if I'm online, in case I don't always have this webpage up, so if you want my skype I'm more than happy to give it out. I typically only use skype for gaming, but I'm fine if any of you want to contact me.

Also I had a thought. Ichigo, do you want me to make a vampire or NPC a group of vampires? I'd like to play a deranged character, but only if the character is actually needed. It's up to you completely, I'm fine with or without a second character.

I'm not sure, but from what I gathered, it seems that Ichigo's hours are a bit different than ours. And I'm not sure about everyone else. It just sounded like someone wanted everyone on at the same time and I had a feeling that wasn't going to happen. xP

I always kind of just assume everyone is EST (I am too) haha, it never even occurs to me that we're not all the same time zone until someone specifically brings it up

No, no I am also EST, my life is just a bit busy at times, and I was really busy today doing some early needed preparations for a little trip I have coming up next weekend. The last post I made before this one was just after I'd gotten back from the mall, and I needed to rest up/clean up a bit before coming back on here.

From what I gathered, I think I'm waiting on one more person, though I'll have to check that up. If you guys are more comfortable with it, I'd be fine to do a post tomorrow night, rather than tomorrow morning, or even tonight, if most of you are night time rp'ers.

@ Abridged, glad you brought up the NPC things. I'd rather we not fill up the rooster with too many NPC characters, especially if there ones we'll use and then kill. But, you guys are allowed to rp NPC, when we're attacked, since it's not like, with the amount of characters there are, I alone could rp an NPC attacking each and every kid. What should happen is that one of my characters will probably indicate an attack coming on (or one of you guys characters), attack happens, and then you guys are allowed to rp who's attacking you, how they fight, and such.

However, since you volunteered for it, I'm warning you that I may come to depend on that, later on.

What I have in mind though, is that we all start in a town close to where Euro and Solo's home is. The kids can be in the town, or in the forest in the surrounding area. The Vampires attack, flushing them out of their hiding spots (and in turn causing the kids to meet one another) and we'll go on fighting and rping from there.

The offer will stand for as long as the RP does. :) I'm a nocturnal person, and I'm never up in the mornings (I am the queen of angry non-morning people) but I don't mind what time other people post. I'm hoping this won't be like the last one I joined ( a while ago, on another account) where there was only one post a week. Normally what I do is check back maybe two or three times a day, and if there's a post, I of course will read it. If I need to post, I'll post. If not, I'll wait my turn. That's probably how everyone does it, but I definitely am not picky about timings and such.

I can't wait to get started. ^_^

Sorry to poke holes in everything but will we all be traveling together? Because that seems very complex to have to remember everyone's quirks and particulars. And are we all traveling Towards the same goal?

Edit: @abridged- I know personally I will keep this RP going for as long as I can. I'm literally alone in another RP and I am refusing to let it die hahaha!

What I'm hoping is that you guys are frequent posters. I have time to check the site multiple times a day, (till school starts, at which point it will be multiple time from the late afternoon on) so I actually prefer having a post a day. Hopefully the general gist of the rp will be that people will be able to get in a post a day, or at least every other day.

Now this may be a problem. I my self enjoy characterization to it's limits and absolutely love having a group of characters to interact with and spice things up.
However, some of you may not be so good with that kind of thing. We will be working towards the same goal (which, as nerdy as it sounds, will eventually turn into saving the world against the Ward). Now this can go two ways. Either, you guys want us to be one big group, or we split up into smaller groups that occasionally meet up because we in the same place, got capture by the same people, etc. I prefer the big group, because it leaves us open to sticking together through and through, but the rp is workable with smaller groups. I'm flexible, so it just depends on what you guys want. One thing I do have to note is that, if we're splitting up, the characters first all have to meet each others, then goals will be assigned through a plot idea I have, which I'm still going to keep to myself for now, and then we split.

I would love nothing more to say we should all stick together but my vote would have to go for breaking into groups of 2, 3 or 4 and going to different parts of the states and eventually the world. (might need places but idk if you guys use that)

Reading your posts, I'm thinking maybe it's simpler than that. It's only natural that a large group would get split up every now and then. I also think (just a suggestion) that maybe they shouldn't all meet up at the same time. It seems a little bit weird that they would all be in the same town, unless they were somehow herded or drawn there. Again, I'm fine with just about anything. I just enjoy RP.

I think it would probably help if rather than all meeting up at the very beginning every body put in a post or two or three to get their characters established before any sort of attack happens? Also, in my experience on this sight I've found that generally RP's that start with mass amounts of people wind up with only a handful of active people, so maybe if we wait on deciding whether or not to stick together or split up until we know who's actually going to stick around it might make the decision easier?
ps I'm super excited for this one haha :)

I thought of that before, but thinking back to the Maximum Ride series, I figured JP used so many Deus Ex Machina's to get all the characters together, or have them in the right spot at the right time, as though it was faith, that we could do so too. I figured if these kids are going to be the saviors of the world, we could start it off with a ten year old esque Deus Ex Machina bam, but when I read what you say, I get what you mean. Which, does in fact bring up a question or two. The kids should be working to the point where they want to trump the Ward. Which means we'll need several sub plots, before we get into a final plot (final; I haven't gotten that far). Basically, what happens, is that we (the ones who are free) are going around causing havoc and freeing up other kids. There will be time for fooling around, and some sand box type rping, but for the most part, I'm open to plot suggestions that will make things exciting. Any suggestions, elements you guys would like to add to the rp?

And sorry if it's a bit different with me than it is with most Roleplaygateway people. I'm a roleplayersguild type of girl, and, if you guys have been on the site, maybe you haven't had the same experiences as me, but most of the rp's tend to involve the character periodically all meeting up at some point, then diverging, them meeting up, maybe sticking together again, then separating, and so I've kind of gotten use to that whole, keep-the-group-together-no-matter-how-big idea. So, some help in this situation would be heavily appreciated.
