The scientists were there, glaring daggers at Austin. They planned to win the case by telling everyone they were searching for cures to medical problems, and needed their test subjects in order to do so.

Austin kept his eyes diverted from the scientists, only matching his gaze with their lawyer who had put forward quite a challenge. When it was Austin's turn he spoke about how this simply unjust as well as the use of different DNA, potential hazards and risks and whatnot leading to create quite a heated conversation between the two.

The scientists lawyer argued back, that by combining DNA types they could discover cures to common diseases passed through animals to humans. It was also a huge scientific discovery that combining animal and human DNA was working.

Austin knew they were piling up all sorts of things, and he only wished he could use Abra or Laddie as a witness but it wouldn't ever be permitted. He argued back with the fact that it rises errors and incompatibles between the two DNAs which overall might mean that life for them couldn't be sustained.

The scientists argued that they had found ways to make life sustainable under the right circumstances. They were arguing that everything they did was perfectly acceptable in the labs.

Austin tried to look more at the humane side of things, contradicting that if they had Human DNA they must have some feelings of course and how could they show that their way of preserving life was appropriate and suitable for such beings.

The scientists argument changed to saying that a few lives suffering was worth the betterment of the whole world if they came up with a cure to something using these altered people.

Austin was beginning to get frustrated with the on going replies between the two, but he kept his composure. He went on to say that there were still rights associated with those of people, and if it was correct then they wouldn't be allowed to continue doing so without consolation that those 'altered' people were having no problem with how they were being treated.

The courts ruled in favor of Austin on that one, saying that a specialist would be sent to the labs to ask the altered beings if they were okay what was happening to them, and if not, the labs would be shut down.

(gota go)

As soon as the judge made his decision Austin was revealed but he knew this case wasn't exactly closed. Learning what would be happening next seemed to scare Austin a little if they found out that Abra and Laddie were missing and sent out all sorts of search specialists for them.

The scientists smirked at Austin. They knew he had Laddie and Abra, and that in order for him to win completely, they had to be in the labs, and they weren't.

Austin's caught the smirk and groaned underneath his breath. This was harder than it seemed. But the decision had been made, if he couldn't come up with something it was just likely the case would be continued and the thought of that was driving Austin to a brink.

The scientists left to go prepare for the men to inspect an question them. They knew this was going to make it more difficult for Austin and they were okay with that.

Austin spoke to his colleagues for a while before beginning to pack his things away. His mind filled with thoughts on how to solve this new arisen problem. Making his way quickly out the car he slipped off his cloak and got in heading back home continuing to stay quite distracted by the whole matter.

Abra and Laddie were on the couch, watching a movie Abra had found on TV. Laddie was on the edge of his seat watching, laughing at the cheesy cartoon. Abra smiled and watched with him.

Austin walked in slowly setting his items down before walking into the living room. He spotted the two and lightly smiled "Hey" he said quietly settling down in an opposite couch.
