Announcements!

Alrighty. This is a place where I'll be making announcements for the Naruto Forum. This will hold possible upcoming storyline. Announcements about what will be allowed in the future and so forth. So I'm asking that all participants please keep an eye on this topic in the future.

Ok. Two things for this post.

First: As of this moment there will be no more Kekkei Genkai (Blood Line Traits) allowed for made up characters. There are already too many of us with Kekkei Genkai. If you can provide me with a VERY good reason why a made up character would have a Kekkei Genkai, then we'll talk, but other than that, please take this into account when making a character.

Second: While I'm thrilled that people love the Hidden Shadow Village I made up, I'm going to have to put a few restrictions on this. If you're going to have a character from the Shadow Village they may NOT originally be from Konoha or the Sand Village. Any other villages are welcome and characters can be originally from the Shadow Village too. But if you wish to do this, please contact me via PM because there will be a few things you'll need to know.

Thanks for your time guys, and remember, keep an eye on this topic because I'll be dropping in bits of information from time to time. And if anyone has anything they'd like me to put here, a story arc for their own character or possible ideas for future storylines, please, don't hesitate to drop me a line.

Hello again. Since we now have a wide variety of different Hidden Villages, I think it's about time that we put certain people in charge of the villages, or at least to play the Kage of a certain village should the need arise. I'm doing this for two reasons. One, I just don't want to control all the Kages. Two, with more than one person controlling the Kages there's a better story line so all the Kages don't end up thinking and acting alike.

So from this point on I'll be appointing people that have applied to the position of one of the Hidden Village Kages. Below is a list of who will be playing what. And unless they player is clearly abusing the power of the Kage, all ninja from that village will have to obey the word of the Kage as law.

Konoha (Hokage) - SSJHunterKiller
Shadow (Kage) - SSJHunterKiller
Sand (Kazekage) -
Mist (Mizukage) -
Clouds (Raikage) - Midnight
Rock (Tsuchikage) -
Sound - Orochimaru (assuming that person is still participating. And yes I'm aware that the sound doesn't have a Kage, but it still needs a leader)

So if anyone is interested in one or two of the positions, PM me and we'll get it all set up!

Starting on Mid to the End of August (depending on how much help, if any I have doing this) I (anlong with maybe one or two others) will be hosting a series of challenges for any and all that wish to participate! Trivia contests, artwork, fan fiction contests and Character Tournaments!* The Tournaments is open to anyone with a character in the Naruto Universe and all other aspects of the Great Naruto Challenge are open to any and all the wish to participate!

The Trivia Contests will be broken into three different catagories, Anime (As seen on Cartoon Network), Anime (As seen in Japan. This will include things that have happened in the most current episodes of Naruto Shippuuden) and Manga.

Artwork will be broken into two catagories, Original Artwork (artwork of original characters) and Character Artwork (Artwork on actual Naruto Characters).*

Any FanFics will be posted for all to read.

The Tournamet will be a bracket system of turned based combat in a designated forum. Each participant will be given a number and matcheswill be made at random.**

If anyone wishes to help host this little event please either PM, IM or E-mail me so we can begin working on questions and anything else that this might require.

* May have a few more catagories added a bit later.

** Please keep all submitted artwort at an approprite level. Don;e go excessive on any blood you may wish to use, and please, no Yaoi or Yuri.

*** Since I've got NO EXPIERENCE at hosting or setting up a tournament, I'd REALLY love it if one of the GT Moderators would help me out with this part.

Ok guys this is a little announcement about the Hidden Shadow Village. Since most people didn't see fit to read that anyone NOT of the Shadow Village couldn't find it, it's just been written into the story that the barrier jutsus that were keeping anyone from finding it were weakening and fading away. However, the barriers have been redone and put up once again. So unless your character is from the Shadow Village or is escorted/brought to the village by one of the Shadow Ninja, you will not be able to find it. Anyone that ignores this will simply have their posts in the Shadow Village deleted and the story will continue on as if those posts never happened.
