Re: Asteroid Belt

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Ryand-Smith on Sat Jul 21, 2007 10:12 pm

Now then, on the Advanced Asteroid Base (2002 BM26), also known as "Frontline" to its residents, news about cosmopolitans would not matter, as hey had ore important things to deal with, like monitoring the other NEOs for activity, and refueling the other ships of the United Asteroid Federation, but today was going to be different

"Hey Joe! Watch it with that Gundanium! Its all our supply, and we just got new orders to move that out before we kill someone with it!" The Crane operator stopped the machine, and placed the heavy load of Gundamium onto the floor of the dock "Yeah, rich, what are we going to do with it, sell it to the Earth or something? I mean, its just..." Richard looked shocked, and pulled out an official looking paper "The Federation just ordered us to move this Gundanium into the Alliance Frigate, and to have the mobile Suits loaded up into the Wind Dancer! This means thats war's a brewing, and that we will be a lot more ships coming here! Now lets move this shipment out!

Joe got back to work, moving the Gundanium into the hull of the Frigate Alliance. This was a ship, 200 meters long, and heavy with Gundanium, fuel, and Mobile Suit Parts Its twin engine pods were battered with micro-meteoroids, and its main twin defensive cannons, massive blasters in their own right, were malfunctioning. This was not the best ship, but it was the fastest, as its smaller supplementary engines showed. Now a man would walk from this ship, his spiffy military uniform revealing his rank of "captain" he looked at the activity, and said

So, this is Frontline, where the War is going to happen." A woman would look at him, the young lady apparently an Ensign from her insignia, and said "Yeah Ryand, its not like you haven't flown here before. Besides, you're re-activated, and now you have a ship, albeit its not like that Kolev class thats going to escort us to L-1. I mean, were getting a real crew, not just a bunch of recruits who can barley pilot a Mobile Suit!" "Well Rebbecca, its not like you haven't piloted a Gundam before either..."

There conversation was one of many, as Mobile Suits were loaded into the real battleship, the Asteroid Federation's inner Sphere Command and Control Ship, the Korlev. This beauty had a shape like a cigar, and many turrets, but its real power was in its cargo hold. It could transport at least 20 Mobile Suits, and this ship was meant to go into battle. The crew were a bunch of loyalists, and they had one thing on their mind Fighting on the Earth.
"Captin Ryand!" A man shouted, as he noticed his colleague. "I thought you quit the military game!" "Nah, I got reactivated, Akagi, and now I have to let you escort me to the Earth Sphere." Akagi, the Rear Admiral of the 2nd Advance Fleet, looked at his ship, and sighed "This is not going to end well, its not. Lets go, and have a drink, while the ships load up, eh Ryand?" Ryand looked down, and responded "Well, I can't, unless we give Master chief Richard charge or preparations.. . "I'll do that" Rebbecca quickly said, and on that note, the two men went towards a bar.
