Lurked here on and off for a few years looking for tidbits to use in games. Figured I could use actual human interaction, as my job necessitates I am always working when everyone else is out socializing and doing silly stuff like, you know, building meaningful romantic relationships, building non-professional networks, and acquiring friendships. So I finally took the plunge and registered.
Don't have a lot of free time to game anymore, but I do love yammering on about the ins and outs of setting design, managing adventures, and comparing tips on how to make games as enjoyable as possible for players and GMs alike.
Also surprised at the amount of communal support given to people who occasionally work in the creative industry, specifically authors, as I have recently finished a new manuscript that I will be rewriting in the next couple weeks.
