Can't Send PMs? Need Your 10-Forum Posts NOW?

Tips: 1.00 INK Postby ViceVersus on Sun Nov 21, 2010 8:30 pm

If you've been given this link, chances are you're a new user to RPG and you need to unlock your Private Messaging by making ten posts in the forums.

This seems silly! Why do I have to do this?

Well, it's a mechanism to fight against the spambots who join RPG from time to time, and just start attacking everyones' inboxes with ads for whatever product they might be trying to sell.

Why do I have to get so MANY?

Naa-aah. Trust me, as you get settled in to RPG and start making Interest Check and OOC posts, you'll get ten posts in your sleep. This will seem like nothing.

Well, where are some threads that I can post in?

What a great question! In the interest of preventing some folks from posting in threads with messages like -- "LOL JUST POSTING HERE TO GET MY PRIVATE MESSAGES UNLOCKED!" here are a few handy, helpful links to stickied topics that'll get you your forum posts done in the blink of an eye!

So there you have it! That's a good, stout compilation of links that ought to get you not only a bit more familiar with the website itself, but gets you off and on that ten post goal!

And trust me -- it's not really that many!

Enjoy, and have a great day!
