Citizens Of Crown City

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Bartholomew Finch on Sat Feb 13, 2016 10:56 pm

The citizens of Crown City are anything but normal, ranging from normal humans with mind bending abilities to the darkest of supernatural creatures. Even with a few surprisingly inhuman species that can't be considered on any other scale but their own. In this city there are not only the traditional supernatural creatures, but a wide range that fit every variety.

Below are simply a few variations of each type.

Vampiric Supernaturals

Vampires come in many forms, and it is not unusual to find several different subspecies of them living in communities within the Cities darker districts. Though some Vampires don't have to follow the traditional rules.

A few of the most common Vampiric Subspecies within the City are

Aswangs
Dhampires
Lamia
Shtriga
Strigoi
Ghouls
Chupacabra (cryptid classification)

Shapeshifting Supernaturals

Among the most common in the City are Werewolves and traditional shapeshifters, but there are plenty of subspecies that are spread out over the Citys vast territory. However it is very rare to find shifters other than Werewolves running in packs, as most are solitary creatures.

A few of these species include:

Berserkers (While these do travel in pairs, or hunting parties they are so few in number that is rare to see them in groups.)
Skin-Walkers
Nagual (witch classification)
Kitsune or Huli Jing (Respectively Japanese and Chinese fox shifters.)
Selkies and Merpeople (including Sirens)

Less commonly found are:

Changelings
Doppelgangers
Fleshgaits (cryptid classification)
Wendigo (very few left in the city)

Humanoid Supernaturals

Most commonly including Witches, Psychics, and those with powers not common to human beings.

Among the Common Witch Classification:

Necromancers
Nagual
Shamans
White Witches
Dark Witches (Practitioners of Black Magic; commonly involved with curses)

Common Psychic Abilities in humans include:
Fortune Telling
Astral Projectors
Psychokinesis or telekinesis
Psychometry
Kinetic Manipulation of Elements
Retrocognition
Scrying
Telepathy
Levitation
Mediumship

Otherwise some humans may take on superhero like abilities that exist outside of the psychic scope.

Mythological and Cryptid Species

While uncommon its not exactly a surprise to find Cryptids and creatures of mythology within the City. Some even contain human forms. While there is no comprehensive census of Cryptids and Mythological species there are currently two known types living within the city, others have been overlooked or have yet to show themselves.

The Fleshgait "Zephyr"
The Black Shuck "Delilah"

(If you'd like to apply for a Cryptid or mythological creature let me know, I'll add you in.)

Spirit Species

Ghosts aren't the only things haunting the city, though they are the most common.

A few other species of spirit include:
Revenants
Poltergeists
Women In White
Zombies
By some extension Ghouls
Shadow People
Wraiths
Elementals
Spirit Guides

Extraterrestrials

Not much has been documented about the extraterrestrials in Crown City, though that can be expected of a species that has spent their life in hiding. Most people know of the common types, The Greys, The Greens, and Body Snatchers. But there are many undocumented species that have been "spotted" here and there. Because there is little information we cannot give a detailed list of these creatures.

Angelic, Fae, and Demonic Species

Of course there are angels and demons, but there are many species in between as well.

Incubus
Succubus
Banshees (Fae)
Nephilim
Cambion
Anti-Christs
Fallen Angel
Nightmare

Inhuman Species

These are the creatures that are not human, supernatural, or extraterrestrial in nature. Currently there is only one such creature among the citizens.

Robot "H.A.V.E.N"

(Note: this list is incomplete, many species can be added upon request.)
