History: Claude was born in Bordeaux to Belle and Jean Faile. His father died at a very early age of heart failure.

When he was only nine his elder cousin Gabriel came to live with Claude and his mother. He stayed there for eight years.

When he was seventeen Gabriel left in the night to join the OZ faction and go to war with the Gundams. Claude was left alone and heart broken. His "brother" left without even a good bye.

Gabe was untraceable for years upon years, until he finally showed up in Paris. This was when Claude tracked him down.

Their reunion eventually led to Gabriel's formation of the Guardians and Claude grasped his ideals with every fiber of his being. He fought side by side with Gabe until the peace treaty of AC202, when his "brother" turned his back on him. He disbanded the Guardians, telling them that peace was all they needed, when just months earlier he brought out the hate in them for the colonies.

This was when Claude decided to step into the light. He took it upon himself to fill Gabriel's shoes as the leader of the disgruntled Guardians. He stole his faction, his men, and his mobile suit. Claude had almost become Gabriel.

All feeling for anything but Earth left him the day Gabriel walked out on them. This was all he knew now and he loved every minute of it.
