Commision for a Book Cover

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Parivill on Sun Mar 16, 2008 2:09 pm

Hey I was wondering if anyone one here would be willing to draw a book cover for me. I have no artistic skill whatsoever , well I am a pretty good artistic photographer but I don't count that  so yeah, thats why I decided to post this. I'd love you forever, and as an added bonus (Only if you call in the next 10 minutes >_<) if I get one that I really like, and I ever get this stupid thing published I'd use your drawing, with permission, as the actual cover, and you might see some real money compensation (keyword here is if I get this stupid thing published well I suppose thats really more than one word :) ). Ok so here's what i'm looking for:

I have three main character's to the book, Morris, Kaylit, and Parivill. Ideally I'd have all three on the cover, they're all best friends, maybe like a candid shot (I like photography terms). I used tektek, from gaia to create what I pictured them to look like in my head so heres that image: http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x39/parivill195/group.png

Morris', who's the main character with black hair, personality is sorta the typically arch-hero, but he's still a teenager so he's ok with life and lives for his friends. Parivill, the blond haired best friend, is really intelligent but is always goofing around and has a really laid back personality. Kaylit, via process of elimination is the girl with red hair, is kind and compassionate, and carries around a sketch book with her everywhere. Hopefully that's enough information for anyone who's interested to work off of. If your interested but need more information please PM me or post here. Thanks for taking time to read this and hopefully some of you artists out there will find some time to help me out :D

This is the first time I've colored in this style so be gentle! I think it looks somewhat decent when it's cropped around their faces, but here it is in the horribly colored full:

Morris, Kaylit, and Parivill.

I based the pose off of a picture by comic book artist Jo Chen (my heroine!).

Oh. My. Gawd...I LOVE YOU DOVEY!!!!!!

This is like, hands down the best cover I've ever gotten, I even paid a couple of professionals to draw it for me (This one was really messed up, it was all psychoanalytical and mumbo jumbo...)

This is officially the coolest art I've ever gotten  , Love you Much!

I liked it better with both her eyes closed!
