Alright, that is fine. I understand Skittles, It was fun just going over the top with him.
Hmm, I may take up your offer of that ace pilot. One ace jerk coming up. I'm going to make him a jerk to give Earme and Kennith even more reasons to despise him. Kennith won't be alone there Max. Haters gotta hate.

I also plan to kill him off at some point, perhaps the Master of Death will take a cameo role for that very task. Ha ha, nah. I will put him at level 0, which will mean he is hard to kill. But I seriously do want to kill a character off at some point, maybe I'll have to settle for an NPC. I've PMed sneaky, he was on at the time I did so lets hope for a response.

Battle! Oh yeah! Bring it on! It won't go well for Earme though, he is going to make a few rather major mistakes. Hmm, Tan? Did we ever get around to writing anything up on the main cannon? Since you fired it we may need to get to that.
The Spice Melange occurs on only one planet in the entire universe.
The Planet Arrakis, also known as Dune.
He who controls Arrakis, controls the Spice. He who controls the Spice, controls the universe.

@Templar: No, nothing was ever solidified on the main cannon, which is why I glazed over the details in my post. I'm currently in the middle of another 'thrilling' assignment, but I have some ideas that might work once I make the time to write something up. It might not be as detailed as all the other posts in the ship's log, but it will suffice nonetheless. Unless of course you've got something miraculous up your sleeve?

...so, sins I'm planning on having Ba'al and his Mecha get a bit busted up, is it okay to have him find like a really old Mecha? Maybe he stumbles upon a museum, finds an old nuclear-powered, shell-and-gunpowder bullet-firing Mecha, kicks it into gear, then uses it...

I really like your description Tanman, it is awesome gun. Umm, NewKid, using a mecha that old would be like using a stone axe against automatic rifles. It wouldn't be very successful, also a old mecha has nowhere near the capabilities of a current one so you'll be pretty stuck. Its up to Skittles to say something.
Talking of that, where is she? Its been quite a while from the last post and I don't think Sneaky is coming back. I've PMed him and he has got it but no response.

....cause it's really bad news. Well for us anyway. Skittles got picked by our professor to go to china on an anthropology thingy-majig, she's preparing to go and will be gone for about a month. If not more.

Good news is I just saved a buttload on car insurance by switching to Geico! LOL, JK, I was always with them to begin wtih, but the real good news is that I decided I wants to be a GM. So I gotta go dust off an old idea I had and maybe put it into play, you would all be invited of course<3

Well, congrats to Skittles then, but uh, does this mean this is being scrapped or dropped or what? I'm kinda sad it's being put down so soon after starting if that's the case, but I can understand if it is.

It is both unfortunate and fortunate. I would have rather you told us before, as in, when it happened. We could keep this going. Weirdo, don't you know where Skittles was planning to take this? We can have her character injured and taken out of action for a little bit and then continue to run it. We've put a lot of work into this, I wouldn't like to see it wasted.

I don't want to see it wasted either, and quite frankly it isn't going to add up to much if we take out our leader. I say we just put it on hold until she gets back and maybe you all can join my rp...>.> <.< just sayin.

But yes, she is off in china now, I saw her off earlier today. God the wait to check in was long, I kinda hate how our airline system goes.

So far this is what I have of my new rp. Does it sound interesting at all? My character(s) would be the leader and the monk that the Temple sends, or just the leader, depends one how I want to do this. Any suggestions or ideas?

If you have any questions or concerns, kindly shove them up your ass. Thank you and have a nice day.- Accredited by Agent Dragon Fruit

Above is a typical add that the Fruit Basket Agency puts up around train stations and such. This is because the land they live in is plagued by Demons. This is also because the retarded Leader of this agency has crap spelling.

It was not always like this, a little over a generation ago Demons and Humans lived in complete harmony. But some sort of thing that can only be described as a plague has reaped chaos on the peaceful co-existence. Demons have started to become crazed, unexplainable anger and hatred turns them into beasts. As a result they have become innately…savage. Some turn into animalistic beings with no bearing on their minds, while others into cunning agents of greed and chaos. These Demons have done horrible things to entire villages and are now feared. But sin has crossed both sides, as Half Demons have fallen victim to a fear crazed society. Hated and even hunted, no Half Demon is left unscarred. But a group of them calling themselves the Fruit Basket angecy has gathered together as a hired blade business. If you have a demon problem, they can solve it. For a price that is.

Image

Demons are a race that have superior strength, speed, and abilities to that of humans. Many of them are also born with a slight ability, nothing too big. Very limited telekinesis or becoming invisible for a short period of time for instance are some of the things they have been known to do. They have colored hair and eyes that range from white to green and any other unusual color. It is not uncommon for their eyes to be the same color as their hair, they also have pointed ears. Apendages such as horns or unusual skin color may also apply to this race, though usually a more powerful Demon has these things. Like any race they have their own high society and aristocratic ways. Strangely enough those in high society have retained relative sanity and have become rulers over hordes of other crazed Demons. Most Demons have become infected by this ‘plague’, but those who aren’t are usually killed by humans fearing that they might. Those who have been infected group in places where they have either taken over a human town or where they have their own sanctuary. Their is one Demon believed to be in charge of a large number of them, little is known about him other than the fact that he can somehow possess very strong and seemingly unlimited powers. He targets the Monks at times for a specific purpose, searching, but only few know for what.

Image

Since the plague hit the terror hasn’t stopped at crazed Demons. If you manage to kill one of them then it will reanimate into a Goul within the hour. Gouls are ugly S.O.Bs. They are mutated beasts that are harder to kill than a Demon. No amount of Mutilation will stop a Demon from reforming into these creatures. Instead a different approach is needed to ensure that dead Demons stay dead. The Fruit Basket Agency is extremely strong, but fighting a horde of Demons twice and having them be stronger than the first time is far too much for them to handle. Hence the importance of Monks to their operation.

Image

Feh, you all know what humans can and can't do. But I will explain the sort of people they've become at the very least. There are those who make their living as a mercenary (most of those don’t make it past age thirty though), there are the rich who often keep watch over a town or sort, they run things and make sure the trade and economy goes well, there are common people, doctors, teachers, farmers, painters etc. And then there are the Monks.

Peaceful and wise, these temple dwellers are dwindling into few due to their non-combatant nature. They are scholars and philosophers, pioneers to the spirit and world of science. You’d be surprised at what they have found out about souls and energy. For instance, they are aware that Gouls turn because their soul is trapped inside the body, and in that case the plague infects them a second time, morphing their soul into a beast instead, they become a spirit screaming for release and destroying everythi8ng in their path to get it. The monks hold many mystical abilities, and they've added one to their arsenal. Monks can release the spirit of a Goul even before they turn, they call it exorcism. The temples have taken notice of the Fruit Basket Agency and have sent monks to help. The monk that they send acts as transportation, cook, overall maid, and releases the souls of Demons before they turn to Gouls after the agency kills them. In return the agency offers shelter and protection while the Monk investigates the plague to try and stop it at the source. This is really a genial trade off, or would be if the agency actually kept up their end of the bargain. The main temple has sent a total of twelve high level monks to the agency; each is usually dead within four months. It is suspected that this is due to the agencies over all apathy to human life. So for the thirteenth monk, the temple has a surprise trump card that they hope will be able to solve this strange plague once and for all.

Image

With one parent a human and the other Demon, these beings are a cross between the two in appearance and abilities. They are not very common, for although Demons and humans lived together in peace, it was not often that they fell in love. Those who did had hybrid offspring. Hybrids have always had a scientific advantage, they are stronger, faster, and more durable, they can hear better, see better and last but not least their hair and eye color is brighter than their Demon parent. The exception to their strength is that they do not have the special ability or power that their Demon half often possess. They are also unaffected by the plague completely. That has not stopped them from being ostracized unfortunately. Since the plague Half Demons are often mobbed and lynched on sight, If the people are mellow then they at least harass the poor soul. Many harbor a deep and boiling bitterness towards humans and Demons alike, since neither side will accept them. The Fruit Basket Agency seems to be the exception to people, it took a few free assignments to build themselves a reputation, but they did. Now people aren’t stupid enough to let prejudices override their survival instincts, they holler for them at the first sign of infected demon attacks. Although the Agency has been known to charge through the teeth for their service. Failure to pay results in death.

Looks pretty gnarly so far. I imagine you'll be coming up with a bit of a synopsis into where the RP will be going, how one can become part of the agency, etc. etc., along with solidifying a character skeleton and perhaps putting some concrete stuff down about character creation.

you use the word gnarly! <3 I'm working out my character kinks so far, so long as I can generate for sure what my character is going to do then I can get on with the synopsis! I think I'm leaning more towards just being the leader.
