You wouldn't know that the two of them knew each other if you just caught them walking past each other, because they probably wouldn't even make eye contact. Well, that would be true on a good day at least. On a bad day, or even a normal day for Katherine, you would probably catch her muttering some unnecessary and catty comment about the girl the moment she walked past. So, yeah, the guise of them not knowing each other would probably be the more pleasant representation of their relationship, because if you actually knew about their real one, you would know that it isn't a great one. They are stepsisters, a fact that Kat has resented since the beginning, because her mother convinced her that it was not her affairs that ruined her marriage with Kat's dad, but Deanna's mother's affair with her father that destroyed their family. It was drilled into her mind that Deanna and her mother were the enemies, so when Katherine was sent to the west coast for high school, she treated them as such. It would have been an easier quest, had Deanna been easy to walk on and be nasty to. That wasn't the case though, and the fact that she's often on the losing end of the witty yet cutting remark battle with Dytto only makes her dislike the girl more. Kat is petty enough where she'll tell you that her stepsister has absolutely no redeeming qualities, or that "yeah, she's a good dancer, if we're comparing her to those kids who dance in the Kidz Bop commercials", or "I'm sure the only reason why her bra size is bigger than mine because she stuffs her hair into it".

Eloise Tailer

Katherine knows that she isn't a great friend to Eloise, but then again, there's a part of her that feels like Eloise is lucky that she's anything to her, considering how quickly London wrote her off. She wishes that she could be more of a public friend to Ellie and actually treat her fairly, but she likes the one-way friendship they have, where she can use Ellie as a shoulder to cry on and then pretend like they don't know each other in public. It benefits her, and it's not like Eloise has ever complained about it, to Kat's face, anyway.

Esperanza Ramos

Katherine doesn't see whatever it is that London sees in Esperanza, to allow her to remain relevant. She's pretty... kind of... and she's a good dancer... kind of... but how does that make her worthy enough to be friends with them? Katherine will put on a smile and feign a laugh when she's forced to be around Esperanza because of their mutual tie to London, but that's the only time you'll catch her smiling around the cheerleader.

London is Katherine's best friend at Crossroads. Growing up in Manhattan, Kat had always been a part of the "it" crowd. It was just something that was in her nature. The popular people were the ones who she belonged with, and so it only fit that once she came to Crossroads, she found her place with them as well. Despite Katherine's tendency to fit the role of a perfect, brainless follower for London, she and the blonde do have a very genuine friendship.

Natalya Volkova

When it comes to tattoos, Katherine follows the "you don't but a bumper sticker on a Bentley" motto, so it goes without saying that she isn't very fond, or at least understanding, of why Natalya is covered in them. If anything, Kat thinks it makes her look scary. Add in her pale skin (which Kat isn't any better with, despite hours of laying out in the sun...) and Kat is convinced that she looks like the kind of girl who's secretly a vampire, and is going to try to suck her blood in the middle of the night or something. All of her judgments and critiques of Natalya are purely physical ones, because in true Katherine fashion, she struggles to get past judging people by their appearances and giving their personalities a chance.

JONNIE'S RELATIONSHIPS

Natalya Volkova

Esperanza Ramos

While not generally drawn to the "head cheerleader" type, Jonnie agreed to pretend to be Esper's boyfriend when she discovered his secret (he's gay). Since then, Esper and Jonnie have pretended to date in order to protect both his and her sexuality from being discovered. Jonnie doesn't actually get along with her very often and he butts heads with her a lot. But at the end of the day, Jonnie does admit to seeing Esper as the only one who actually knows him and the only person in school that he can truly be completely honest with.

Liam Nielsen

Jonnie definitely sees Liam as his best friend. Jonnie and Liam are also both on the baseball team. Jonnie generally looks to Liam with a type of admiration and admittedly, has held a little flame for Liam since they first met. However, Jonnie has never acted on his feelings and perhaps the only thing that Liam doesn't know about Jonnie is that he's gay.

Jonnie, being best friends with Liam, has met most of his "conquests," and thus knows Elly. However, they are not friends and Jonnie has always assumed that she holds Jonnie in as high of regard as she holds Liam.

Joe and Jonnie are roommates and both members of the Music Club. Jonnie has always gotten along with Jonnie thanks to his laid back personality. Jonnie has also never told Joe that he's gay.

Dytto Devereux

Dytto and Jonnie became friends while she and Liam were hooking up and their friendship continued even after the two split. Jonnie holds Dytto in pretty high regard because of her relaxed demeanor and confidence. The two have connected quite well over their love of boxing and kickboxing and when Jonnie's had a bad day, Dytto is the first person he turns to for help relieving that stress in the most violent way possible.

It would probably be fair to call Dytto a booty call, but in defense of it all, it's not like both of them aren't fully aware that that is what it is... and it's not like Liam's the only one getting pleasure out of it either. Dytto's good in bed, that's for sure, and has definitely served as a good partner to help him brush up on his skills in bed, now that London refuses to sleep with him. At least he knows with Dytto, he's not going to try to be sucked into a relationship "out of nowhere".

Eloise Tailer
Liam slept with Eloise during his freshman year at Crossroads. She was actually his first "conquest" at the school, and although she was nothing more than a girl he used to prove how "manly" he was to his peers, he still hits her up from time to time, when he's looking for a booty call. And he'll probably keep doing that, regardless of the fact that she hasn't answered one of his texts since ninth grade.

Farrah's cool... Liam definitely considers her to be a good friend. Them both being A-listers makes their relationship easy, since not only is it socially acceptable, but they end up at a lot of the same events and parties.

Frederick Gains
Liam and Frederick don't have much of a relationship. They've probably been in a few classes over the years, but they don't know each other well.

Jonnie Walker
Liam and Jonnie are good friends, especially since they're teammates on the baseball team. Liam sees Jonnie as a great wingman, and someone who's easy to hangout with. It's definitely one of the better relationships that he has at Crossroads, and he thinks of Jonnie as the guy he can go to to chill with, or for reassurance.

Liam was friendly with Katherine for most of his high school career because of what he was with London. Since then, things have been understandably... awkward... but he plans on changing that soon. In an attempt to look at things on the bright side since London cut him off, he thinks that Katherine will be his next best option, and she's the next "conquest" on his list.

London Wellington
Any guy at Crossroads would kill to be able to call London Wellington their girlfriend, and yet that exact honor is what scared Liam into ruining his relationship with London. The two of them had been good friends since he started attending Crossroads, and though there was always a little bit of romantic tension between them, they were too young to notice it until high school. Liam wanted London badly throughout freshman year, but she made him work for it, and he finally got her into bed during sophomore year. Their hookups spanned throughout that entire year and throughout most of junior year, before she finally got sick of him refusing to call their relationship and actual "something". She gave him the ultimatum - either she wanted to actually be dating, or she wanted nothing to do with him. Too scared to commit to a relationship, he chose the latter option, and all summer, he has been wishing he hadn't. It's not like he's been celibate all summer, and the sex with other girls has been good, but he has scared that he's lost something better.

Natalya Volkova
Liam would tell you that Natalya is just "not his type" in more ways than one. He doesn't hate people for speaking their mind, but he also doesn't think she needs to be such a bitch all of the time. Yeah, sometimes his kindness is feigned, but isn't pretending to care about irrelevant people nicer than being a dick to them? He thinks so, and at least in his mind, he's the one who's an A-lister and she isn't... so... that speaks for itself.

Natalya is quick to make friends with fellow music lovers no matter their social status. Now that Natalya has been taught the value of a good prank and how much fun it can be to nerd out she finds she has a bit more in common with the class clown.

They get along quite well, Natalya occasionally dragging him with her to pull a prank with Dytto and Nate or to play video games with Freddy.

Dytto Devereux
Dytto was Natalya's first true friend at Crossroads Academy and is her closest friend to this day. Both being very strong-willed and fun-loving people they hit it off immediately. Both being little hellions it didn't take long for them to start causing trouble and Natalya loved every second of it.
Having been raised in a very strict, confining environment Natalya wasn't familiar with Video Games or Pranks but Dytto helped her find a quick love for both.

Ever since Natalya and Dytto have been close, not letting anything (including cliques) get in the way for their friendship.

While Natalya can say she's seen the girl around or knows one of her friends Natalya has never really gotten to know the girl herself.

While they don't know each other that well, Emma being a bit on the shy side, Natalya has respect for anyone with a good tat. That being said it isn't uncommon to see Natalya say hello to Emma in the hall or give her a smile as she walks by.

Esperanza Ramos
Natalya met Esper her sophomore year and couldn't help but make room in her heart for the crazy Latino girl. While they can but heads every once in a while due to both of them having a very blunt way of putting things they are quick to make up.

Natalya has suspected that Esper was gay for almost as long as she knew the girl was hiding a secret but, due to both the fact that she hasn't comeout and that she's dating Jonnie Natalya has had her doubts. Either way Natalya is fully supportive of Esper no matter what. She has always made sure she was available to Esper when she needed an ear to talk to or a shoulder to cry on.

Farrah Hart
The first time Natalya met Farrah, the dancer was all smug looks and nasty demeanor. Natalya, not one to put up with other people's bullshit, returned Farrah's bitchiness two-fold.

That was the beginning of their rivalry. While Natalya is an overall good person she isn't one to forgive and forget. Cold glares, biting remarks, and lots of swearing are the usual for them.

Frederick Gains
Natalya met Frederick about halfway through her freshman year, both of them having not only the same math class but also the same English class. There's nothing like getting put on a project together to bring people closer to one another. Once the project was finished they ended up continuing to hang out, often nerding out over the newest Video Game or discussing how much glasses suck.

Slowly, over the course of the year, the two grew to be good friends. 'Two Peas in a Pod' as some would say. They've grown so close that Natalya has opened up to him on some of her best kept secrets, including her fear of Thunderstorms.

Jonnie Walker
"Anyone who loves music as much as I do is a friend of mine."

While they aren't the closest people in the world Natalya definitely thinks of Jonnie as a friend. Since he started dating Esper they've gotten closer, close enough that Natalya really suspects that something is off with their relationship. While it bothers her that the two would lie to her she wants to let figure out whatever it is in their own time so she doesn't push.

Natalya doesn't really know Joe. She's seen him around and invited himto a party or two but otherwise doesn't know him.

Natalya has no love for Katherine. From the moment they met, Katherine looked at Natalya in a way that just ticked her off. Of course, being how she is Natalya just decided to avoid the girl. Over the years Natalya has grown to dislike Katherine not only for how she treats Dytto (one of Natalya's closest friends) but also due to her selfishness and tendency to be over dramatic.
For the most part Natalya tries to avoid being in Katherine's presence as much as possible and does her best to be tolerant of the girl on the rare occasion that they should speak.

The first time Natalya was around the kid he practically cowered in fear so she's kept her distance to keep from scaring the kid.

Liam Nielsen
Natalya dislikes Liam only for the fact that he's fake. While usually this wouldn't bother her since she's used to that sort of think they just don't care for one another. In Natalya's own words, "I'd rather someone be a dick but honest then nice but full of shit."

Despite Natalya's overall indiffrence towards Liam, she has called him out on his 'kindness' on more than one occasion causing quite a few verbal tiffs that have most of the school believing they hate each other. Natalya doesn't know how Liam feels about her but she could honestly care less about him.

London Wellington
London and Natalya get along mainly because there's no reason for them not to. Natalya hasn't seen her bullying anyone and the 'Queen Bee' seems to accept Natalya since she came from money.

The true base of their relationship is Esper. Natalya considers Esper to be a close friend so she makes sure not to cause drama.

Nathan Hale
Upon joining the Rebel clique Nathan was the first person Natalya had a connection with. They were quick friends, discussing motorcycles among other things. When Natalya found out he was friends with Dytto the three of them became practically inseparable, the Three Musketeers (usually four though since Fred hung out with them a lot.)

It was about half-way through junior year she realized she had feelings for him. She never let it show. First off it could ruin the dynamic of their group, and then there was how her father felt about her dating 'boys' who weren't in the mafia. That and the fact that she had been keeping that secret for years. Natalya might lie to protect her friends but she would never lie to the person she was in a relationship so even considering acting on her feelings was a big no.

Of course, that didn't mean she was any less of a friend. Dytto was equivalent to a flame, quick to heat up, even with her friends where as Natalya was more like wind, gentle but violent when she needs to be. Often she was the ear lent to someone needing to talk in her group of friends so to suddenly stop being close to Nathan would have raised even more questions.

She hoped over the summer she would get over her crush but unfortunately it hasn't happened. Either way she'll grit and bare it, knowing that staying friends is best for them.
