MO-V came into view for the two ships as the pilots of the mobile suits began to prepare themselves for the upcoming battle. Harrison Mitchells sat in the cockpit of his Taurus and smirked.

Harrison - Alright "Team", you got to watch your own asses, get in my way and I'll shoot you down myself. Our goal is to further make problems for these people on MO-V. By problems, I mean...end their lives. If the }{G do launch, and I'm sure they will...we're not supposed to kill them.

The Captain of one of the ships appeared on Harrison's screen.

Captain - We're in range now, you can launch whenever you're ready.

Harrison - Which will be now! Open up those doors!

The doors to the ship slowly opened and everyone could see MO-V.

Harrison - Alright, let's go cause some good ole' chaos! Leutinent J.G. Harrison Mitchells, Taurus, Leaving this piece of junk!

Harrison launched out of the ship on the catapult then transformed into fighter mode. The other 4 Taurus followed suit, and the Leo's stayed behind them. The team made their way inside MO-V through an opening used by the former Terrorists that were on the asteroid. Soon the team was inside and landed in one of the cities that had just been repopulated. Harrison smirked as the people looked up at the oddly colored paint job of his Taurus and the other mobile suits that were with him. The Fre Faction's mobile suits were colored Green and orange. On the shoulder was the letters FRE, the symbol of the Fre Foundation and now the Fre Faction.

Harrison - Let's bring this place to the ground!

Everyone began to open fire, the citizens had little time to react, and many lives were lost just in the first few minutes of this battle.

The alarm on the ship sounded completely out of the blue...The comm in his pocket blared with the alarm. He dug it out as quickly as he could, reading the message on it.

Five Taurus and five Leos.....This could be a problem...

The was no time to even think about it, he acctivated his comm to tap into the intercomm in the ship.

All pilots report to the hangar bay. Techs begin prepping the suits. Boys an girls, suit up!

He broke into a brisk jog, dashing towards the hangar bay. He carefully navigated his way through the halls to make it towards the hangar bay, taking full notice of all the pilots scrambling to their mobile suits. It was a good sight, one he hadn't seen in a damn long time...

Kiyoshi heard the alarm and the message from his }{G communicator. Kiyoshi shoveled in a few more bites looked at Mia and Lori.

Looks like I got a job to do...I guess, we'll talk more later. Thanks for the food.

Kiyoshi ran out of the lounge and to the locker room, quickly changing into his pilot suit. He pulled on his helmet as he stepped into the hangar. Kiyoshi saw that Kaden was already ready to go in the hangar.

What's going on!?

Kaden - Someone is attacking the city...five Taurus and five Leo's.

Who would be attacking now?

Kiyoshi didn't wait for an answer as he rode the zipline up to the Virgo's cockpit. After strapping himself in to the seat, Kiyoshi closed the hatch and the brought the power on. MO-V didn't need this right now, and Kiyoshi knew it. Maybe they hadn't got all of the terrorists out and they were trying to start another uprising. If they were, they were more foolish than Kiyoshi had thought.

This is Future, Virgo, heading out!

Kiyoshi quickly launched out of the Pegasus. As soon as he was in the city, he could tell it was a war zone. Buildings that were once still standing were now rubble. Kiyoshi glared through his sunglasses and visor of his helmet. Suddenly, one of the Leo's came out from around a corner, and Kiyoshi could only look in shock. The colors were a bright green and orange...colors he hadn't seen in years, but that wasn't what shocked him. The letters on the shoulder forced memories forward into his mind.

F-R-E? FRE!? FRE Foundation!? It can't be!

The Leo finally noticed Kiyoshi in the Virgo and began to open fire with it's beam rifle, as it jumped back several times to try and put some distance between him and the Virgo. Kiyoshi's eyes turned to a near dead like stare, fueled by a deep powerful rage. Suddenly, Kiyoshi's Virgo was under heavy attack from a lone Taurus. This Taurus was piloted by Harrison Mitchells.

Harrison - So the }{G finally show themselves! Greetings from the Fre Faction of L3!

Kiyoshi was again shocked, but he didn't show it. He quickly sent out the planetary defensers to block the beam rifle attacks from the Taurus. Kiyoshi opened up a communication to him.

L3!? Who the hell are you and who's using the Fre Foundation's name!

He turned to look towards his sparring partner, smirking lightly by the smell of food on him. Yet, this wasn't a time to joke...no, this was serious...

Kiyoshi - What's going on!?

Someone is attacking the city...five Taurus and five Leo's.

It wasn't long before Kiyoshi was gone, moving as quick as the zip line would tug him, upwards to his cockpit. He snatched ahold of his own zip line, moving up into the cockpit of his own Virgo.

He sat down in the seat of the cockpit, his facial features changing drasticly....The door shut, placing him in total darkness as the systems of the Virgo began to power up..This was definantly somethin' he was prepared for though, but not inside the city...

Yet, his own upgrades to his Virgo would hopefully be enough.

Launchin', yeah, you know the jazz...

His Virgo burst forth from the bay of the ship, navigating into the colony. His thrusters fired violently as he blared into the area that Kiyoshi had ventured. It seemed that a Taurus had targeted Kiyoshi's suit....

His Virgo's hand moved to it's back, grabbing hold of a rather long pole looking weapon, removing it from it's back. As the weapon was brought to the front of his suit, it's twin blades lit up before him. The Virgo twirled the Twin Beam Scythe as it moved into range of the suit. A comment was picked up over the transmission...

Unknown Voice - So the }{G finally show themselves! Greetings from the Fre Faction of L3!

He opened up his own comm to this specific suit as he moved within range of it.

You talk way too much man..

He took this moment to issue a severe slash outwards to the back of the Taurus. The blurring wave of the scythe's beam energy lunged forwards as it moved to strike.

Harrison smirked as he quickly pulled the controls of his Taurus back, just barely dodging the twin beam scythe.

Harrison - You two must be Kiyoshi and Kaden, or would you rather me call you by your silly code names? I'm guessing the one with the scythe is Kaden. Considering, the other one was so...devastated...by my announcement, that must be Kiyoshi. Tell me "Future"...how does it feel to have the past come back to haunt you!

Harrison fired two shots at each of the Virgo's before transforming and flying over them. Harrison's crackling laughter over the comm. was rather annoying. Harrison turned back toward the city and began firing the beam rifle at the buildings some more.

Kiyoshi was filled with emotion. Pain, regret, sorrow, anger, hatred, rage. All of these emotions at once made him near blind to the events around him. Kiyoshi then pushed his Virgo to it's limits chasing after the Taurus. Three of Leo's came out behind him and opened fire sending his Virgo falling to his knees. Kiyoshi roared in rage as he turned to fire his beam cannon at them, but all three scattered just in time. These weren't just unskilled terrorists.

He couldn't help but shake his head. He sat there, listening to the cruel comments from the unknown man. It was enough to make his blood boil. After his comment he watched the sheer speed of the suit as it flew off, though not before firing two shots towrads each of their suits.

He took this moment to issue his planet defensors outwards, blocking the shot. He noticed as Kiyoshi took off after the man...though the beeping on his own sensors signaled that two more suits were moving up at his rear, Leos to be exact.

He fired his right thrust, bluring his suit outwards as he extended the scythe. The spinning motion of his suit on it's heel sent out the screetching sound of metal. The sheer speed of his movement sent the scythe ripping through two of the too close Leos.

He had to quickly open a comm to Kiyoshi's suit as he bursted upwards into the air.

Keep a cool head man, we don't need no casualities.

As he moved upwards, the calvary soon arived. Several heavily trained pilots appeared in their own Virgos, each suited with a melee weapon of their designation.

He watched as their leapt into battle against the other suits, tearing into them as they did the same in return.

Kaden's words almost brought Kiyoshi from his raged state. Kiyoshi drew his beam saber and leaped into the air, using the planetary defensers to block the beam rifle attacks from one of the Leo's. Quickly he came down with his beam saber cutting through the Leo in one quick motion and then used his verniers to thrust out of the way avoiding the nearing explosion. Kiyoshi noticed out of the corner of his eyes the other Virgo's engaging in the battle, but turned his attention towards the city. The five Taurus' that remained were causing the most damage because of their speed.

Kiyoshi took several large steps before jumping into the air and using his verniers to fly a long distance before landing in the middle of the battle. Kiyoshi aimed his beam cannon at one of the Taurus but missed as it rolled to the left.

The Fre Foundation isn't supposed to exist anymore!

Harrison continued to have a smirk on his face as he watched one of his team mates roll from Kiyoshi's beam cannon shot.

Harrison - I thought you }{G were supposed to be some sort of group of superior pilots. I don't see anything superior about you! Or maybe it's cause you're too weak? Is that it Future!? No wonder Winson is so sure he can get rid of someone as weak as you. Oh, and we ain't no Fre Foundation! We're the Fre Faction!

Kiyoshi couldn't concentrate, he was slipping. Losing sight of reality as the other four Taurus units began to focus all of their attacks on him. The Planetary Defensers wouldn't hold up against an attack like this forever, but Kiyoshi was frozen in place.

Harrison - I guess you would have to be weak to shoot an unarmed girl! Am I right, Kiyoshi!?

Harrison laughed to himself as he destroyed another building. He could just visualize the look of terror on the people's faces who might be inside, and the thought of their screams brought some semblance of joy in his heart.

He spun rapidly through the air as his troops began their assault on the Leos. His sensors caught hold of the firing of beam weapons in the Industrial secton of town.

He knew this was alot for Kiyoshi, and he knew he wasn't 'bout to let these guys boss him around. He bursted forwards in his Virgo, the beam weapon held at his side as he began to charge up the beam cannon in his suit's opposite hand. The concentration of power in it was reaching difficult levels and he had to target a good shot on these guys.

He aimed the shot towrads the feet of the two closest mobile suits. They were already close enough, but this would most likely catch them off guard and not permit them much room to move when surrounded by so many buildings. The thought of the people inside them caught him a bit off guard...It had to be done....this was the question that tested the spirit of any true pilot...Would you give someone's life to save others..?

He breathed a sigh, his eyes closing for only a second as the beam weapon fired towards the feet of the Taurus. His eyes opened, showing a new ferocity in them that had never been unleashed.

You come here to attack my people and these citizens?!? You kill them without the batting of an eye?!? If they've gotta' die so others can live, WHO AM I TO LET THEIR DEATHS BE IN VAIN!?

His words ended, the flaring of smoke from the beam blast signaled that something had definantly been struck. The pilot vision was dimmed due to the smoke, though all that they would see next would be the light green hues of a twin beam scythe ripping through the blackness of the smoke.

Kiyoshi could almost make out the image of Fiona Fre, his former love, who seemed to be in front of him. Kiyoshi began to break down. He tried to stay strong, he tried to hold himself together, but with each passing second he lost more and more control. He didn't hear the warnings from inside the cockpit, warning him that the planetary defensers were at their breaking point.

Harrison watched as Kaden killed one of his men. Harrison shook his head in disgust.

Harrison - Shouldn't have been so stupid.

Harrison looked at the data from the battle. All of the Leo's had been destroyed, now there were only three other Taurus left, other than himself. It was time for Harrison to really lay it on thick.

Harrison - You've lost L3, Kiyoshi! It belongs to us now, the Fre Faction! My leader told me to send you the message, that you can't hide from your past anymore!

Harrison watched as the Planetary defensers around Kiyoshi's Virgo were destroyed. The remaining three Taurus began to fire at the Virgo, making it again foll towards the ground. In Kiyoshi's mind her heard Fiona's voice call out to him.

Fiona - Puppet! We pull the strings, you do what we say!

Kiyoshi's eyes narrowed as he brought the beam cannon up and stood in one single motion. His Virgo's "eye" lit up, almost signaling Kiyoshi's rage. Kiyoshi's eyes followed one of the Taurus suits, as he shifted the Virgo with it's verniers, dodging the Taurus attacks. Kiyoshi made sure the beam cannon was at full strength, and locked on to the Taurus. Kiyoshi pulled the trigger, the large blast flew forth from the cannon. Kiyoshi watched as the Taurus was completely destroyed from the blast.

Harrison seeing this, and noticing the other Virgo getting closer, knew it was time to go.

Harrison - You two take care now...

Harrison laughed maniacally as he made his Taurus go into fighter mode and zoomed off hoping to escape before one of the }{G caught up to him. Flying past the smoldering remains of the city, Harrison again smirked. He was definitely good at what he did best.

She was halfway through a bite when the alarms started blaring. It was chaos all over again as she watched Kiyoshi and several other units dash off. And in an instant she heard Kaden's voice over the intercom.

Kaden: All pilots report to the hangar bay. Techs begin prepping the suits. Boys an girls, suit up!

Aww geez, what now?!

Leaving her plate and everything there, she motions for Lori to follow her as she began making her way to the bridge. They were obviously going to engage into battle again, and more than likely Kaden was going to be out there.

I swear to god, if he gets himself killed--

She had more of a worried tone in her voice than an angry one. They finally reached the lift that would take them to the upper level. After walking out of it, they hurried on over to the main controls. Mia tried to get as much information about everything as quickly as possible. She even sent out orders to a few officers to set up a search and rescue team just in case.

The swing of the scythe ripped the Taurus it struck into two clear halves. It fell back behind the remaining suits. His planet defensors held well as blasts from their weapons slammed against it's electric barrier.

He fired his thrusters to push his suit back from them all, the main leader taking flight. His gritted teeth only ground together as he watched the coward run...no, he couldn't let that happen...Every single person onboard the Pegasus was like family to him and he wasn't about to let this guy escape.

He fired his thrusters, moving up as a continuous barrage of beam burst slammed into his defensors. Once he'd gotten out of their reach he let his defensors rest a bit. He held the massive scythe at his side as his eyes narrowed once more...

He opened up a comm to the Taurus, his tone as serious as can be.

You think you can start some shit an jus' fly off? Don't work like that pal....

He began to charge a shot in his beam cannon as he neared the evasive mobile suit..

Kiyoshi was constantly moving in his Virgo, dodging the attacks from the remaining two Taurus mobile suits. They saw that their commander had fled from the battle, but because Kiyoshi was still engaging them, there was no way they could escape. One of the pilots managed to dodge Kiyoshi's beam cannon fire three times, but didn't expect to see Kiyoshi's Virgo to follow right behind the blast. In one quick movement, Kiyoshi drew the beam saber from the left shoulder of his Virgo, and cut across the cockpit of the Taurus.

Kiyoshi landed on the ground with a loud thud. His breath was heavy and body had become weak. Kiyoshi had undergone more stress than what he could handle, as his vision began to blur. He could just barely make out Kaden's Virgo chasing after the leader's Taurus. There was still one more Taurus left, and he was firing at Kaden.

As Kiyoshi forced himself to stay conscious as long as he could, he pulled his beam saber back. The Taurus turned around just as Kiyoshi slammed the energy blade all the way through down to the hilt. The last thing the pilot saw was the burst of green energy. Then, the blade slowly pulled out as the Virgo fell to the ground. It was badly damaged, and as it hit the ground with a powerful rumble, the beam saber deactivated. Kiyoshi flipped a switch in the cockpit for an emergency communication line. Weakly he spoke out...

This...this is Fu...Future...need...re...re...recovery....

Kiyoshi passed out before he could finish his sentence.

-

Harrison clenched his teeth as he slammed the controls for full power. He had to get away from the Virgo. Kaden wasn't weakened by his words like Kiyoshi was. With Kaden still on his tail, Harrison decided it was time to fight. Harrison made his Taurus do several barrel rolls before quickly turning around and transforming out into Mobile Suit mode and firing a barrage of fire.

Kaden grip on the scythe increased, nearly crushing it by the sheer power of his Virgo as he barreled inwards to the Taurus. The descending force of his suit only fueled a large outward swing of the scythe, the first blade aimed outwards to the back while the cannon in his opposite hand stood ready to fire, it's power already charged up to full, in case he attempted to dodge in that direction.

Harrison glared seeing the scythe coming at him, quickly raising the left hand of the Taurus, he held the blade away from him by holding back the scythe, the arm began to creek and groan from the force as he aimed the beam rifle at Kaden

Harrison - At this distance you'd be foolish to pull that trigger!

Kaden - Obviously you don't know a damn thing!

Kaden pulled the trigger on the weapon, aiming as best he could towards the suit. The concentration of the blast would be enough to nearly destroy their suits, especially at this range. Plus, since his enemy had caught hold of the scythe, their was still a blade at his back......But this was too risky of a move...

Harrison shifted the mobile suit into fighter mode and flew downwards the blast damaged the top section of what was the feet in mobile suit mode and the verniers of the Taurus in flight mode. He wouldn't be able to land on the ground in the Mobile Suit mode now. Before he plowed into the ground below, Harrison pulled up and aimed his beam rifle at the Virgo and fired another barrage, before barreling off to the left.

Kaden's suit began to drop from the air, it seems that his blast had struck, though it wasn't true to it's power. He began to turn about, his planetary defensers slowly deploying. They hadn't deployed in time, a few blasts ripping into the side of his suit before the Defensers had time to form the shield and block the remaining shots. This guy was really beginnin' to piss him off....He began a downward movement towards the suit, knowing there'd be no real way he could compete with it's speed at this time. He issued the arm wielding the scythe outwards to it's furthest extend before whipping it about, attempting to concentrate the suit between the blades, knowing that they weren't far enough apart to allow it safe entry.

Kaden - Havin' fun yet man?!?!?

Harrison transformed into Mobile suit mode and floated in the air, stopping right before the scythe. He aimed the beam rifle at Kaden and smirked as he pulled the trigger twice, before using the verniers to make the Taurus circle around the scythe.

Harrison - Hmph...nice try....I would expect more...but maybe I shouldn't. You're supposed to be the son of Derek, right? Derek was made into an android after he was killed. If he can be killed then so can you!

Damn this guy was fast....This was a losing battle and Kaden knew it....The defensers took the two blasts from the weapon once more before promptly shutting down. And then....a bombshell....

Kaden - AAAGGHHH!

Kaden shifted all power to his engines as he used the force of gravity to ram his suit towards his enemy's. The engines at the back of the suit burst into flames as he drops towards it. The sheer sight of the mobile suit at such a speed was nearly unbelievable, yet the one thing that nobody would really notice....would be the beam cannon powering up for a final shot.

Harrison groaned in pain as the Virgo slammed into his Taurus. He tried to move but he couldn't. He tried to aim the beam rifle towards the Virgo, but this was also useless for the way the Virgo had slammed into him. He had only one option, hopefully make Kaden lose the grip of his Taurus through the transformation. Harrison hit the controls to transform the Taurus into fighter mode, making the suit twist and scrape against the Virgo.

Kaden didn't take time to aim, the blood pulsing through his veins was powerful enough to only fuel his anger more. The last thing he remembered was the beam weapon firing and the sound of metal scraping in his ears......The scene had went dark......his eyes finally closed as his mind seemed to collapse into itself at this point....He felt like he'd never know if that single shot had struck true.

Kaden - Father...

Harrison broke the Virgo's grip and pounded the pedal controls of the Taurus, making the Taurus fly upwards at it's top speed, just barely missing the large blast from the beam cannon, that would have ended his life. He smirked again as he flew towards the exit.

Harrison - The son of Derek? Hah! Seems like he's just like the android...never as good as the real thing, and always such a disappointment.

The heap of metal once known as Kaden's Virgo crashed to the ground. The surrounding flames ripped against the metal of the suit, hot, yet not hot enough to twist the metal to it's melting point. The cockpit sat in a void of darkness, the only light appearing from the occasional spark of busted hardware. The single occupant of the cockpit now hung in the seat, held only by the straps of the cockpit seat as he dangled loosely.

His eyes opened slowly, the blood pouring down his face made crimson streaks across his flesh. He brushed his hands across the harness, releasing it's hold. He really hadn't thought this one through....His body slammed down against the metallic cockpit door of the cockpit, one of the screens breaking around him The glass cut into his flesh as he finally opened the door.

His body fell from the remains of the Virgo, slamming to the ground. He placed his hands down, pushing himself upwards to his knees. He pushed himself back up to a stand, glass falling from his clothes. Somehow he'd only maintained minor cuts on his body from the screen, yet they still burned like fire against his flesh.

He began the long arduous walk back towards the Pegasus, eventually catching a ride from some passerbyer who franticly demanded that he should go to a hospital. His please fell on deaf ears, his mind was set on something else at this point....

He finally arrived at the Pegasus, stepping aboard the ship. Heads turned instantly, his body was a wreck. Everyone hushed as he walked amounst their ranks....If there was a walk of shame, this was it....

One soldier ran up, a dramatic emotion in his eyes.

Soldier - Sir, you really need to report to a medic!

His right hand instantly flung to the soldier's neck, forcing him over to a wall. He raised the soldier high in the air, his feet dangling beneath him. Veins pulsed around his neck as he gritted his teeth once more, that same fire still burning in his eyes.

Jus' stay away..

His hand relinquished it's hold on the soldier's neck, dropping him to the floor. He began to cough harshly as he turned away. It seems that the glass had stuck into his hands, he hadn't really noticed it til now..

He would've lit up a cigarette if he had thought about it.....It didn't matter now though...all that mattered was that he got to his room.

He draped his right hand out against the wall, leaving a trail of blood painting a way towards his room. He'd never really thought about it though....He slammed his hand against the door to his room before it had time to open.

He stepped through the door and instantly into the room. His bloodied hand fell on a bottle of Jack Daniels before he himself fell upon his couch. He used his thumb to flick the top off as he raised it to his lips, downing at least three shots in one big drink. It was fire, as any liquor would've been for such a heavy drink, but at this point, nothing mattered but one thing.....That man had to die.

A team from the Pegasus had been sent out to recover Kiyoshi and his Virgo, upon getting there they found Kiyoshi in a state of shock. His mumbles couldn't be made out, and even if they were, they were incoherent.

Kiyoshi's mind was in a state of near shut down. This could be explained simply from the sudden rush of memories that were still held back because of the cryostasis unfreezing processes that he had undergone. Another possibility could have been that his genetically engineered mind had suffered an overload. Whichever case it was, it was clear that his body had given out during the battle, and soon he could be brain dead.

Kiyoshi was rushed back to the Pegasus and sent into the infirmary. It was the only thing the crew that had picked him up thought they could do. Medical treatment wasn't their forte, they'd rather leave that up to someone else. The Virgo he had piloted, had sustained extensive damage, but could be repaired.

For Kiyoshi, his mind still worked, in this strange state. For him, he was living his own personal hell. Events in his life, usually the most painful, struck him like a pile of bricks. He wanted it to end. He wanted to give up, but someone wouldn't let him. Someone was trying to force him on, and not let him give up yet. Kiyoshi couldn't make out who this person was, but he knew he knew the person at some point in his life, whether it was his past or present, he wasn't sure of, either. All he knew was that the pain he was going through was near unbearable.

Kiyoshi wanted to die. He wanted all of this mental anguish to go away, all this pain to just stop. He was ready to let go, pay for the sins he had committed in his life, and if that meant taking the responsibility for even the ones he hadn't...so be it. He just wanted the pain to stop. But still there was someone not letting him give up.

Kiyoshi sat in what seemed like an infinitly spanning white void. Some how, he had focused his mind to this point, and had pushed out the painful memories. The lives he had seen taken away in a blink of an eye, the feelings of remorse, the feelings that lingered on from a lost love. He had some how shoved them all the way to the back of his mind, and now this was all that was left. Nothing.

Kiyoshi just sat there, holding back the tears. He felt like a small child. His true inner thoughts came to him. Thoughts that he hadn't had sinse he really was a small child. Kiyoshi tried to force a memory to surface. One of his mother. No matter how hard he tried, no memory came. There wasn't one. Kiyoshi tried to do the same for his father, again, it was the same outcome. That's all he wanted at this moment. To remember a mother's gentle but strong, secure embrace. He wanted to be told everything was going to be alright. That even if he died here today, in this white void, that it would be alright.

Mysterious Voice - Just because you don't have a father and mother, doesn't mean you never had a family...

The voice broke through Kiyoshi's thoughts of lonelyness. The voice was so familiar to him, and made him focus on the thought of family. Images of Han Richards, Lisa Nichruen, Stacy Matta, Eota Mars, and Base Rynolds appeared in his mind. Then the members of the }{G, old and new. We're these Kiyoshi's family? He wanted to ask the question, even if he knew the answer, but didn't. Kiyoshi remained quiet.

Kiyoshi's thoughts again drifted to that of his death. If he did die here today, what would that mean. If there was a heaven and hell, wouldn't he need to have a soul to go there? Kiyoshi had known the truth about himself for so long. He never resented the facts of his birth...his creation, he resented the fact that he had been used so much in his life, but because of those facts...did he have a soul? If he died today, would it matter. Would he just cease to exist with nothing to carry on. Knowing his luck, this would be the truth.

Mysterious Voice - Stop being foolish.

Kiyoshi looked up towards the sound of the voice. Kiyoshi realized at this moment, he had always looked up to this voice, no not just the voice...this person. Infront of Kiyoshi, a younger version of him appeared. His clothes were tattered and torn, and dirt and filth covered his body. The young Kiyoshi's cold eyes seemed unfocused as he walked through what seemed like eternity, until a dark, shadowy figure stood before him. The mysterious voice began to talk to the young Kiyoshi, not the Kiyoshi that was watching the memory.

Mysterious Voice - It took us awhile to find you. We've heard a lot about you...

The young Kiyoshi looked up to this man.

Mysterious Voice - I can give you focus...I can give you a reason to go on.

Young Kiyoshi - I'm...I'm not a puppet...

Mysterious Voice - I can cut what remains of those strings. I can make it so you walk on your own, and give you a true home. I can make it so your skills don't go to waste. I can help you be a man, not a puppet.

The images infront of Kiyoshi faded away as Kiyoshi held his head feeling great pain.

Mysterious Voice - You have to remember. You can't run away from your past anymore!

Kiyoshi felt more and more pain. He wanted to give up. He tried to, he tried to let go of the physical world He wanted to be able to say goodbye to everyone, whether they cared or not, and just wanted to let go.

Mysterious Voice - No! Stop running from it! Stop hiding from the truth about yourself!

Outside in the real world, Kiyoshi's condition continues to worsen. His pulse is eradic, and his attempts to try and just die can probably be seen by the medical staff, but there was something keeping Kiyoshi alive. Whether it was truley a part of his will that he had not recognize, or some other force, no one could be certain.

There were several reports coming in and out about the active pilots. Her eyes carefully shifted from screen to screen to watch as the Taurus and Virgos clashed. She watched the different evasive manuvers, her heart skipping a beat everytime someone took a blow. The health status of the }{G pilots came in periodically as she checked them eagerly, handing them off to Lori when she was done.

Kiyoshi's anxiety level nearly sky rocketed with every report. She couldn't help but wonder what was going on in his head.

Unit: Pilot Kiyoshi down!!

What're his coordinates?!

The unit then handed her printed coordinates along with a final status scan of Kiyoshi. Turning to Lori, she handed her the report.

I want you to go with the rescue team and watch over him. They'll have all the equipment you'll need. DO NOT let him die!!

She turned her attention back to the screens, watching as Kaden was issuing a final blow. He missed.

Units: He missed!

He missed?!

And just like Kiyoshi before him, he was falling...it was at this moment that she realized that she only set up one rescue team. Her heart was pounding in her chest as she demanded a status check on the fallen Virgo.

They couldn't seem to zero in on his exact coordinates. She panicked.

We have to go out there and find him!!

Unit: You're not authorized to leave Pegasus while there are enemy pilots still out there!!

She spent the rest of the time arguing with the unit when suddenly everything fell silent. It was Kaden, very much alive--but he had a grave look upon his face. She was making her way to him when he slammed one of his officers into the wall. Blood seemed to cover everything he touched.

Her mind raced. 'He's lost too much blood--and if he isn't taken care of immediately, his wounds could infect!'

She had to admit, she didn't want to be slammed into the wall for trying to help, but she was willing to take the risk, if it meant his well being. She didn't even knock when she came up to his door. Without a single word she shut the door behind her. He didn't need a scold from her now. The worse possible thing that could happen to a fighter, is to live knowing that you lost when you knew it should've been different.

He was drinking--and for once she was glad. Alcohol was a depressant that slowed down the flow of blood and temporarily lowered the heart rate. She was getting an IV ready for him, while sliding gloves on to clean him up afterwards. A brief whisper escaped her lips, and she knew not whether he heard her.

I'm glad you're alive.

His gaze was dim, hazy, most likely from the loss of blood and the gained alochol. Her words were heard, though not too visible. The glint off the bottle was visible by a stray beam of light that came from somewhere in the room, at this point he wasn't too sure. Yet, the taste of the alcohol was still the clearest sense to him at this point.

Someone was in the room, he didn't know who, didn't care..This guy.....Harrison....Whoever he was....Derek wasn't an android....was he...? No no, it wasn't possible at all...Never....If that was true then that meant his father had to have been close to death at some point, or even dead for that matter.

The words repeated again, dragging his mind from deep in thought. He raised his eyes, blood having seeped from a cut across his forehead and into his right eye to draw tear stains beneath it.

You shouldn't be here....There's 'bout to be alotta' killin'...

HOLY?!

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Lori Sakura on Mon Oct 24, 2005 7:22 pm

It was all a blur. One minute she was having the most delicious food she had ever tasted and about to have a great time with Mia and Kiyoshi when the next minute the alarm was sounding and everyone ran to their stations. The sound of that alarm sent tingles down her spine and left an unpleasant feeling in the pit of her stomach. Something bad was going to happen- she could tell. Her hair was standing more on end then usual and she hoped she didn’t resemble a pink human porcupine. Mia motioned her to follow and Lori quickly took her bowl of kwai tao hang and wrapping it in a cloth napkin securely- she stuck it inside her MPB (Multi Purpose Bag.) Lori sprang to her seat and with Neko521 trailing madly behind her she set off with Mia to the control room.
She wished she hadn’t gone there.
They all gathered together as they watched their pilots in the Virgo's fighting the enemy Taurus. It was completely nerve wreaking to see the constant clash and gunfire- wondering who was winning- wondering what would happen. The suits themselves were fascinating and Lori approved of the mobility- although secretly believing that she herself could do a much better job. Between these contrasting thoughts, she could see that their side was being badly battered and each pilot status that Mia handed her was getting worse. Kiyoshi seemed to be having the worst time of them all. Lori couldn’t understand why his anxiety level kept rising at such a high pace, but it worried her. That could be very dangerous. As she was studying her readouts an announcement came that knocked the wind out of her.

Unit: Pilot Kiyoshi down!!

Mia: What're his coordinates?!

Lori stood their frozen and stared at the screen when Mia pushed a thick amount of papers into her hands.

Mia: I want you to go with the rescue team and watch over him. They'll have all the equipment you'll need. DO NOT let him die!!

Lori stood there for a moment and then felt a small nudge at her back. Neko521. Lori snapped out of it instantly. She began running from the bridge.

NEVER!

She ran all the way to where Kiyoshi was- thankfully accompanied by someone who knew where they were going- and entered the room. It was in a state of chaos. The people here only knew a very basic kind of first aid and although they assured her that he wasn’t badly hurt physically- they didn’t know how to treat him. His pulse was off the charts and he seemed to be having violent brain activity. Lori decided to take up authority she didn’t possess.

Get him on an IV drip immediately! He needs a sedative! Get me the medicine and I will give him the shot!

All of the people around her didn’t seem to move as fast as wanted.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! GO!

They all dispersed and Lori quickly washed her hands and put on a hospital outfit and gloves. She picked up alcohol, tweezers, and sterile clothes, and began cleaning his many wounds while waiting impatiently for her requested items.

You cant die Kiyoshi. You know why? Because I’ve seen dying people before and you're not one of them.

A couple people ran in and gave her her desired items. She gently wiped Kiyoshi’s arm and gave him the shot. She knew this would at least allow his body to rest- even if his brain refused to let him rest. She wasn’t sure how to treat his anxiety, but just decided to sing while she worked. As she put the IV on him and cleaned the test of his wounds she sang the song her mother used to sing. About hope, and life and the future.

Cleaning up his right arm for the IV with an alcohol soaked cotton swab, she tossed it into the bin when she was done with it. With one hand she held an exposed needle and with the other she was pressing onto the middle of his arm to find a vein. She quickly caught the vein with the needle, securing it with a bandaid wrap that circled his arm twice. After making sure the blood flow was consistant she let the IV run on its own, turning her back to him for a moment to retrieve a towel.

She went into his bathroom to soak and wring the towel, bringing it back to him as she closely examined his wounds now. She started on his forehead, trying to wipe of the streams of crimson that led all the way down his jawline. With her other hand, she slid it just below his chin to hold him up if he decided to slump. There was a bit of a crazed look in his eye, and she couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. As she moved down his neck, she had to get another clean towel before she could move on.

Tossing the dirty one aside, after re-rinsing the new one she started at his arms. There was glass everywhere. After retrieving a long tweezer from her bag, she quickly started to pull small fragments of glass out of him, dropping them into an empty silver bowl. They hit the surface with a clash everytime she dropped one in. Blood slowly started to replace the glass fragments, as she got down to the last one. This time she had to take a towel soaked with alcohol to quickly clean it up before more blood decided to pour out.

She took the bandage wrap and began twisting it around his palm, winding it up around his wrist and finally finishing it up right below his elbow. After doing this to the other arm as well, she put the wrapping bandage off to the side. She then dug through her pockets to pull out a red-handled pocket knife. With a quick flick of the wrist, the blade shot out and she twirled the knife around her fingers to have it pointed down. It almost looked as if she were about to stab him, but instead, she stopped the blade at the base of his neck, catching onto the top of his shirt, she pulls the knife down and towards her, his shirt now coming loose. Now putting her knife away she pulls the shirt free from him, tossing it off to the side with the heap of blood soaked towels.

Picking up another clean towel, she soaks this in alcohol as well and begins cleaning his chest area, a bit of a sigh escaping her lips.
