Profiles for non-player characters for Darkened Horizons. Non-player characters can be controlled by all writers within the roleplay. You do not require the full profiles.

Russel "Russ" Darrel Warden
Age: 57
Occupation: Governor of the Wizarding State of New York
Elected as the Wizard-Governor of New York in 2004, Russ Warden was the first muggle elected as Governor in the United States. A highly progressive individual, he has granted honorary citizenship to Vampires and other minority beings and eased restrictions for muggles wanting to enter into the wizarding world. Also, as a policy for further cohesion between people of muggle and purely magical heritage, he has made "Muggle Studies" a core subject across the Public Wizardry School System in the State.
Despite a strong opposition from various groups, he was re-elected in 2008 by a very close margin. The Secret Service labels him as a "potential risk" for assassinations, although they have been unable to provide security due to "more important Federal obligations".
