| Fri Apr 23, 2010 12:46 pm | Mazu | Grendel's Revenge is one of my favorite text-based games. It's really among the highest quality you'll find out there. It has its own custom code engine (made by Skotos, and not an edit of some other existing code engine) and custom client with graphics. You play the role of a monster in Uthgol, and you are Grendel's revenge against the human invaders. Build and protect your own lair in a clan-based structure as a social monster, or fight through the ranks and change your form while protecting your territory (and den) as a wandering monster. GR is a PvP focused game with more RP than you'll find in most other text-based games. Choose from 5 main roles (warrior, mage, shaman, leader, builder) and select a sub role. Customize yourself with up to 7 different abilities and a max of 1,000 rank each (higher if you're a strong enough wandering monster.) 40+ races, 60+ abilities. Loot! Spoil! Hoard! Slay! Be a monster! |
