This is a new topic created so Dovey's stuff will not clutter Dearth's topic.

Dovey is not as experienced as Dearth! But Dovey will help out while he's gone or busy.

Dovey's criteria and stuff:
1. 60 x 234 (give or take some pixels) banners only.
2. No hentai/porn.
3. Right Click -> View Image for the URL.

Some of Dovey's examples:

Dovey also occasionally does sketches of characters. On request, but only if time permits.

Cool thanks Sorry I didn't get this sooner I was blacked out over the weekend. Can I ask if it will always be there or will I need to save it elsewhere.

You can use the current tinypic link for now. In the future I would save the banner and upload it elsewhere.

I think as long as the link is being used, it will still be there, but I guess after a certain period of inactivity the internet gremlins crawl through the tubes of the WWW and will digest said link rendering your image unavailable, lost forever in the annals of a digital tundra.

Do you think you could draw Abyss' weapon from Soul Calibur 3??

Tee-hee. Good thing I'm so multi-talented. I know this is not accurate, but this is the best I could do with blurry screen shots.

Here is also a larger version.

If you want to color the un-inverted version, open up Microsoft Paint and invert it. Image -> Invert Colors or CTRL+I.

This is awesome, Dovey!

I would like to think of myself as pretty good at drawing for not ever taking lessons, but this helps me out a lot. Do you plan on doing a lesson on some body parts? I'm pretty good at the face and a basic figure, but I usually draw my characters wearing long skirts or dresses or something because I suck at legs. I get lucky with the arms sometimes. o.O
Today, Friday, October 10, 2009, is my last day on RolePlayGateway.com.
Everyone give me lots of love, because I shall be handing lots out. <3

Oh, man, limbs are a toughie. I don't really have a method for drawing body parts either--it's mostly trial and error for me, haha. But I'll work on something and you can judge if it's helpful or not ; )

I would love a lesson on coloring, too! I haven't really spent much time drawing since I started college a few years ago, but man, I need to start drawing or something again to get my mind off of all the stress that fills my days. I got so desperate the other day to destress that I broke out one of my old Hello Kitty coloring books and started coloring with good ol' Crayola Crayons! o.o;; Drawing would be much more exciting, but I almost feel like I've forgotten a lot of the skill I used to have. =( It doesn't help that my boyfriend is an amazing artist that will soon be going to an art school. He puts me to shame. _-_ But he can't draw anime very well, so if I get good at that, I'll one-up him!

You guys are inspiring me again! Yay!
