I had a philosophical dream the other night. It was incredibly lucid. First, I established that I had no sensations, and next that all my perceptions were weak. From this, I realized that my imagination was the source of all my perceptions. I woke up feeling enervated.

So, does the creation of an image (imagination) alter our perceptions while awake?
