Exciting Plot Seeking New Players! (In the Multiverse)

Hi, I’m Sokka for anyone reading this who doesn’t know me. I’m planning a few different plotlines that I’d like to toss out here. First of All I think I should note a few points that might be useful to anyone reading this.

I am looking for characters to be made however I am also open to current multiverse players to toss in existing characters.
Finally, I want to add that anyone is free to make suggestions toward this. I believe deeply in collaborative plot building that gives everyone a more equal say in how a plot progresses. Anyways I’m starting to ramble so let me tell you all about my Idea.

A mining colony has made a mysterious discovery. It started with the discovery of a patch of solid crystal. The miners were thrilled of course but when more digging was done the found that after a few meters of digging they would discover what appeared to be pathway made entirely of crystal, there were telltale signs that this was no natural occurrence.
Two teams were sent in to investigate made mostly of locals, two weeks later neither team has returned. The national government catching word of this has begun to notice this strange occurrence. Lars King (One of my characters) the leader of the National Science Corps has signed off on a team to investigate.
So now that that is out of the way and if you’re still reading I’m sure you all have some idea of what my idea is. But before I get into this I want to clear one more issue up. I know that nations can be a major deterrent to some people if you’re familiar with the multiverse. While this will be taking place on a planet controlled by my Nation I want to make it clear that this is a small colony world that generally is out of the national eye. The idea behind this is for character based plot. Characters will not be required to be citizens of my Nation though if anyone is thinking of making a character they will be welcome. So back to the plot, What made the caverns? The plan is for an alien civilization, to be discovered, but I think this might be a chance to leave you all wondering. Well unless I slipped the details to anyone. I am going to leave the information regarding the alien civilization out of this post for those of us that would like to keep themselves wondering. If you want to know more or assist in development let me know!
I will be needing players to play the aliens, and while I’ve done some rudimentary work on them I’ve left a lot of room to work with. So if you someone who might be interested in playing, a “native” you can either comment below, send me a pm, a whisper or flag me down in the general ooc chat. I promise I don’t bite.

So now I will be moving into a few final things that I need as well as some roles that are going to need to be filled. There will be no user limit or character limit as the multiverse is designed to be an open sandbox roleplay. Anyone is welcome! So below I am going to be adding some numerical slots to keep track of who will be involved. Some roles may be stared this means that a player previously has shown interest and I’m in the process of talking to them about their interest. (I starred this idea a few months ago but as a college student well time got away though now I have the entire summer to work on rp so this won’t be a problem!)
