Sera kissed Gabriel on the cheek hopped up and grabbed her coat. She then began to fuss with her hair to get the wig back on that she had worn during both of her escapes. The fear subsided a bit if only because she was in his presence, and somewhat disguised.

She came back into the living room and stood in front of him her hands extended towards his, like an eager child. He looked up at her. A faint smile spread across his lips as he took her in with the short wig. She beamed at him. The time that had passed seemed only to bring her closer to him

"Well, Caro, Paris awaits."

He took her hands and stood up she pulled him close to her and listened intently to the beat of his heart for a few moments, before stepping back and looking up into his green eyes.

"It is your turn to be the tour guide, amore."

She smiled at the sick twist of fate.

He couldn't help but smile as he thought of their time in Florence. A tear came to his eye as he remembered the dinner at which he had proposed. It all seemed so long passed. How he had changed. How he had missed her.

He placed a gentle kiss upon her lips before stepping back to look her into the eyes once again. Her beautiful eyes.

"I am sure dat I promised you I would one day show you my 'ome mon amour. An today 'appens to be your lucky day."
He replied before turning and heading towards the door. Her hand still wrapped in his. Gabriel couldn't decide where to start. The Louvre, then perhaps the Nôtre-Dame Cathedral. So much to see.

Gabe couldn't help but smile and hopping that they had all the time in the world to see it.

She stood with him at the door her heart racing with anticipation and her mind drifting through all the things they had already seen together. She hoped the disguise would hold, but then again no one knew where she was.

She smiled at him warmly a hint of a blush creeping across her cheeks. How desperately she had missed him, the way he looked, felt, and spoke, the familiarity of his scent

she sighed to the air itself.

"Where to, mio angelo?"

He voice was light despite her journey and the darkness that was soon to follow.
