The Story: A Whole New World
Deep Blue is now gone. Aoyama is freed from the Deep Blue but as a side affect, he is no longer able to transform into the Blue Knight. Several years have passed and under the gentle guiding of Ryou and Akasaka, the aliens have been slowly sent to earth under the mew's careful watch. The aliens have blended well with the humans for the most part, though there are a few who are treated badly by humans as their skin is much lighter than most humans.
The Mews:
The peace has been wonderful for the mews who have moved on to bigger things in the world. Ichigo, Mint and Lettuce will be starting college shortly, Pudding's siblings will be starting in separate years from oldest to youngest and she herself in middle school, while Zakuro is starring in a new movie based on the Tokyo Mew Mews. Things are coming along well for the former mews until a new discovery finds new, meaner aliens known as Onyxians emerges from Ryou and Akasaka's research. Groups of mews are spread all over the world and all over Tokyo, to help combat the evil, but some mews are choosing to side with the aliens.
The Solution & More Trouble:
The planet is in trouble once more, but the old Tokyo Mew Mews are too busy to save the world. The Mew Project will begin again. . . which mews will be chosen this time? Will there be enough good mews to stop the enemy? Will it be enough to save the world? What are these Onyxians? What do they want? Whatever it is, it doesn't look good for planet earth. The mews will rise once again to defend the planet in Fighting Back: A Mew Mew Battle!
