Firefox and NoScript: GWing

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Remæus on Tue Mar 07, 2006 7:27 am

See those annoying GoDaddy ads at the top of the page? That's because I used a free credit they gave me when I transferred the site. (It's just about $4.00 a month otherwise, which I'll get to paying soon...)

You can get rid of them.

If you're using Firefox, that is.

Install NoScript - https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/m ... on=firefox

You'll need to restart Firefox, then pull up http://gwing.net again. It'll start saying things about scripts being allowed down at the bottom. Click options.

Allow gwing.net.

Don't allow alphagodaddy.com.

And your choices on the rest, then click the red x.

Done.

There's a bitchload of sweet extensions for Firefox at https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/?application={ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}

I just knew there was a reason I use firefox instead of Microsnot's poor offering some of those plug-ins are extremely powerful.

Why else would I promote it?

AdBlock is sweet, too.

Topic is no longer needed, I've paid for hosting now, the GoDaddy ads are gone.
