Tips: 0.00 INK Postby General Kale on Sun Feb 25, 2007 1:19 am

Okey Okey been away for a while so here comes the controversy.....So we all know the fandom of Full Metal Alchemist and Naruto is massive so here we put the two together in a Vs style discussion here are you fighters matched up according to what I thought was proper

Naruto Uzimaki Vs Edward Elric
Reason:Main Hero vs Main Hero duh
Winner:

Sasuke Uchia vs Alphonse Elric
Reason:Support Hero vs Suport Hero Duh again
Winner:

Kakashi Hatake vs Roy Mustang
Reason:Cocky Know it all vs Cocky Know it all hmm?
Winner:

Guy Sensei vs Major Armstrong
Reason:Two Equally Creepy Guys obessed with their looks
Winner:

Gaara vs Scar
Reason:Two Guys with screwed lifes?
Winner:

Sakura vs Lt. Hawkeye
Reason:Not sure just looked good
Winner:

Now you pick a fight and tell me why this person would win or perhaps some insight into who I should of matched up or who I left out entirely.

Gaara VS Scar:Gaara. Out of the two hes the most spychotic and twisted. Plus he controls sand easily. Sand Coffin Vs. Scar=Death for Scar. Or at leats a lot of broken bones.

If you replace Guy Sensei with Rock Lee and some liquor than its Rock Lee all the way.

Guy VS Armstrong:Probably a tie like when Armstrong met Ed':s teacher's husband. All they did was flex and they became best friends. The same would probably happen between those 2.

Sasuke VS AL:Depends on the sasuke, Evil:Sasuke all the way. that kind of skill mixed with evil shringan and heartlessness = Al being lucky not to have bones. Good:Sasuke. he just has more skill.

Kakashi VS Roy:in battle their both serious and both keep a good head. Tie. Their both pretty powerful and would end up knocking each other out.

Naruto VS ED:lets see.... both pretty cocky and powerful... Naruto. a bunch of clones with rasengans. Ed wouldnt really be able to get all of them.

Sakura VS Hawkeye.: Hawkeye. Sakura is better as a medic. not really a fighter. She also doesnt have very good abilties

How is there any competition? I would understand if this was more of a which one do you like more but if you are speaking about fighting then it is way unbalanced. Majority of the victories would go to Naruto characters due to two facts. One, FMA powers are limited by the laws of equivalent exchange. Two, Naruto powers seem to have no limit and can easily be overpowered. In the end only overpowered individuals can beat overpowered individuals and FMA lacks those which is why it is more enjoyable.

There is a competition, there's this thing called chakra. To level the playing field, chakra is the ninja's variant of equivalent exchange. They use a hyper-metabolism to use magic. I can't remember any physical taxations that the alchemists had, so it seems pretty even.

This is true and I am agreeing with the chakra limitation aspect but have you kept up to date with Naruto? Spoilers! So do not read on unless you feel confident enough.

Naruto Uzimaki Vs Edward Elric
Reason: Can summon hundreds of himself, can create overpowered wind powers that can destroy things at the cellular level, can summon giant powerful frogs, can use sage mode which makes him one with nature and stronger, and if you include nine tail abilities that is a whole other story.
Winner: Naruto

Sasuke Uchia vs Alphonse Elric
Reason: Even remotely looking at him he can place you under a illusion that can range from one extreme to another, Lightning attacks that can pierce countless defenses as well as flame attacks, and if you include the abilities he got from the curse that is a whole other story.
Winner: Sasuke

Kakashi Hatake vs Roy Mustang
Reason: Same eye abilities, same lightning abilities, same flame abilities, has the ability to send objects and people to another dimension to be lost forever, surprisingly can use wind style attacks like Naruto, and not to mention his mimicking ability.
Winner: Kakashi

Guy Sensei vs Major Armstrong
Reason: Perfected hand-to-hand combat, water jutsu, and can unleash superhuman status by opening gates.
Winner: Guy

Gaara vs Scar
Reason: A nearly impenetrable automatic defense, has an endless weapon technique, and if include the tailed beast he is on a whole other level.
Winner: Gaara

Sakura vs Lt. Hawkeye
Reason: Hawkeye just has guns as her arsenal. Sakura has superhuman strength, healing abilities, and even ninjutsu even the basic ones makes an individual hundreds of times stronger than a regular human being.
Winner: Sakura

This isn't even fair to compare...First are we referring to Brotherhood or regular? [Disregard each character really is the same power wise in both.]

Now, how far into the Naruto Saga are we talking about here? All the way up to the current chapter in the manga?

Also another thing you have deduce is the Chakra conversion to Alchemy; vice versa.

Also for a battlefield, I say this as for Gaara specifically (other people account to this as well but Gaara primarily)

All these need to be factored before even saying who should fight who.
