A Game of Cat and Mouse in Las Vegas

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby SleightOfHearts on Thu Aug 14, 2014 10:33 pm

This is a strategy fight that involves a lot of cat and mouse games, with plenty of combat thrown in. A matchup designed to test your mind as well as your body. The fight takes place in fabulous Las Vegas, where the master thief and famous magician Chapeau Noir has recently swindled you out of every cent you had on your person, and you're out to take it back by any means. But you are fighting a master of deception on his home turf, with thousands of witnesses and hundreds of cops scattered throughout the entire city. Can you reclaim your hard-earned money without getting arrested or killed? Can you do it without killing a single bystander?

RULES OF THE MATCH

Recording Match for HoR

Fighting Style: Enhanced, Strategy
Tier Level: High
Time Limit: No Limit
Post Length: 1/2 - 3 paragraphs

1. First come, first serve. 1 vs 1 match only.

2. Provide a character sheet including name, age, gender, appearance, skills, weapons, and powers.

3. NPCs can be controlled but must act the way they would be expected to; cops investigate, interrogate, pursue; civilians panic, scatter, intervene; vehicles swerve, brake, crash.

4. The manipulation of any civilian or cop in any way is permitted.

5. Losing constitutes killing a civilian or your opponent.

6. Winning constitutes unconditional surrender.

7. Use of magic must be as unseen or unnoticed as possible. Too much supernatural activity will attract higher law enforcement; FBI, NSA, and even the military.

8. Magic cannot be fullproof. Invisibility leaves tracks, shadows, bumped civilians, hypnotism takes time, etc.

Seems fun. I'll have a go.

Name: Adrian Carter
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Appearance: Broke because of Chapeau Noir, Adrian is left with what he was wearing on the day that his money was stolen, which is tan cargo pants, a gray shirt, a dark green coat, and a 49ers baseball cap. Of average height, he is well tanned, accentuating his gray eyes. Long blonde hair is gathered at the nape of his neck. Lithely built, he stands 5'10" and weighs 145 pounds, making him slightly smaller than the average person. He hides the gun and taser in the jacket, while the throwing knives are situated all over his body.
Skills: Stealth, hacking, knife throwing
Weapons: Taser, Magic Throwing knives, Semi-auto pistol
Powers: Shielding, Life detect, Telekinesis
