Hello one and all (if anyone even notices this lol)

Just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone knowledgeable with a free minute might point me in the right direction(s).

I first want to point out that i'm not new to roleplaying, but when doen on forums- i was only involved with a forum roleplay once.

Im curious as to how to get started in a game etc?
I browsed a bit and I notice alot of "ideas" but barely any replies- and id hate to put energy into a game no one else will play. Alot of the popular stories are too full etc- so I ask- where exactly are the game that are available to play located- and where would I post a character for a game?

I appreciate any help btw-
Take care

Hey and welcome to RPGateway! And I'd be glad to help you out. My advice would to, like you said you already did, browse around the forums and find a roleplay you like. If it doesn't say invite only, or anything like that, then you can automatically join. Now, it doesn't really matter how many players it has, usually another player is always welcomed.

And yes, RPs here usually go through a rough live or die period, where most die due to inactivity. This is a problem we are addressing seriously, as we try to get more members more active. But, if you worry that any RPs you might join are too gone, then maybe it's a good idea to start your own! It may take time, but if you make it interesting enough, I'm sure people will join!

Anyway, if you have any more questions, just write them here, and welcome once again to RPGateway.
