HareFire [and brimstone]

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby HareFire on Fri Sep 21, 2007 8:12 pm

Greetings (PART 2), my name is Maribet. I'm 20 and I've been writing stories since the beginning.

One of my very best (and hands down the most resilient) friend, Eymber, and I started seriously writing together over 6 years ago. In our early teens we got each other into Lord of the Rings message boards. I started several fan fictions on Elijah Wood forums, but sadly never had the discipline to finish them.

This style (though shamelessly "fan-girl", and hopelessly dramatic, in theme) helped to improve my writing skills, as well as, creating a very distinct voice. I still prefer to write romantic stories, over any other genre, but fantasy writing is a close second.

So with that said, I hope everyone holds me to finishing at least ONE project of the many I've got locked away in my cluttered mind and desktop.

Hi there Maribet!

Welcome to the world of RP... or is a Gateway? I'm unsure... >_> ... <_<

Anyways! I hope you have a great time and jump in some of the games that are already going, or create your own! If you do happen to create your own, there is an advertising deal that helps get out the word. I too have a few fan fictions that I sort of never finished. I blame my illness of procrastination. I shall attempt to hold you to finishing at least one of your projects! If you need anything at all, feel free to ask any of the moderators or administrators, we'll all pretty happy go-lucky around here.

Maribet you are most welcome to the site. A mutual friend mentioned that you might be dropping by, and though she didn't ask me I thought I should try and make you extra welcome. We are always pleased to have writing talent join us here, it helps to make up for my own poor efforts (Okay Eymber I know you say they are not that bad). Whether you take part in any of the role playing games or just write for our edification and enjoyment the contribution you make will be welcome.

I hope that doesn't sound too gushing, but I am pleased to welcome you and to add my personal offer of help to Faith's one. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask.

As everyone else has already said it, I will brief. Welcome!

Anyway, you sound a lot like me. I start new stories and projects all the time, and I never finish them.

But with the election of Jesse Ventura in Minnesota and Arnold Schwarzenegger in California, I foresee a day when all our leaders will come from the movie Predator. Think about it. Governor Carl Weathers. No wait: Senator Predator. I bet he has some pretty interesting things to say about tort reform."
