"Actually, I don't quite remember" said Dorn, "I don't even know why i got promoted, but i preferred being a guard, that way I could sleep at the gatehouse, and drink more often." He leaned in and whispered "If they see me here I'll get yelled at by captain Reve." he relaxed back in his chair, "Well the knights are mostly nice, but they take their duty to their lord as more important then their life, or a good time, but the lord is sort of a jerk, from what I've seen, just don't tell anyone i said that, half the nights already want me hung. He chuckled to himself. "So, how far away is Revunie?"

(Zauberei chugs down half the glass.)
Zauberei: Its about a weeks ride north from here. It will be one hell of a trip. Most likely we will be dogged all the way. (Takes another large chug of beer.) But I guarantee the pay will be good. And Lord Benard (whispers) He’s an @$$ hole.

Kain was walking down a street of Oleos when he saw the wagon belonging to the old man who had recently left to the pub with Dorn. He noticed the sign, and a small smile went across his face, his lust for adventure growing anxiously. But before Kain could dash off and join up, Akebokun, the scarf, stopped him.

"Kain, I know what're you're thinking, but you can't even talk. Are you sure it's such a good idea to go bounding off into unknown danger like that?" Akebokun advised Kain, concerned for the young boy's safety. Kain merely nodded, and despite Akebokun's suggestion, he ran straight up to the old man anyway.

Upon confronting the copy of the old man, Kain stared up at him with his sparkling golden eyes, and his ears twitched curiously. Without an ability to communicate, Kain pointed eagerly to the sign the old man had put up. If that didn't work, Kain would have to think of another way to get this old coot's attention. He'd wait to see if he got an answer first though.

Old man(copy): You want to work for me?

Kain nodded vigorously. He took this as a sign of being accepted, and leaped up in the air for joy. Kain jumped around happily, forgetting to pay attention of those around him, bumbing into a few people, but giggling slightly after doing so.

Guljorb walked down the street, taking in all the new developments. Foe had gone off to an inn, his job completed, Foe rested for the time being. Guljorb saw the knight-archers take their positions, a good strategic point for the team, in their current position, they could easily take out anyone near the bar, Guljorb also saw the other 3 knights close in on the bar.

"this is bad"Guljorb thought to himself, this wasn't the first time he had faced something like this. Unfortunately, Guljorb never had to fight against Cresent's, their skills were most likely high, and the captin knew what he was doing. Guljorb smiled, he hadn't killed anyone of this calibur recently, and his hand was itching to knock an arrow. Guljorb walked up a flight of stairs, and barely peeked his head up enough to see the archers. One of them was a female, the other a male, Guljorb smiled again. In the eyes of death, everyone not enlightened, was forced into the wretched pool of pain, and suffering, regardless of gender.Guljorb shrunk back behind his protection, and knocked an arrow. As long as nothing happened, Guljorb would make sure that the old man was safe...

The three Knights ran down the street and marched up.

Captain Reve: (to the old man copy) You are hereby arrested for treason on the highest level! Now you can turn over quietly or I can drive this spear hear through your chest and drag you half dead self to the prison. What will it be?
(The copy of the old man looked at Kain.)
Old man copy: (to kain) There is a elf girl sleeping in the caravan, wake her up and tell her to take over for me.
Old man copy: (to Reve) Take me away then. (extends arms.)
Reve: That’s a good boy. (Shackles him.) Coal, Nasha!
Coal, Nasha: Yes sir?
Reve:Guard this caravan until I get back.
Coal, Nasha: Yes Sir!
(Reve signals the knights on the roof to come down. They join Reve and march off.)

Dorn sat with the old man. "Well, I have a proposition, you see, I'm really bored here, and they told me I can do whatever I want for awhile, or at least until they call me for battle, so how about I escort you on your journey, at least for a while, that is, if your willing to pay for my food, and let me sleep, more often then I do here anyway." Dorn smiled.
