A friend directed me here as we were in similar situation as far as wanting to find a good place to be creative. Many other places are toxic or dead and I'm just really tired of dealing with that saturating something that, for me, is a creative release and fun hobby. I am one of the oldies too... 35 lol, been RPing since I was 10 (a little earlier if you include TTRPGs).
*reminisces about old MUD and MUX days*

Anywho this place appears to be lively and fairly relaxed from what I've seen so far. Perhaps even a good place to re-home a short story turned RP of mine that kind of fizzled elsewhere. ;)

Well, even though I didn't get into RPGs until I was 19 (I am 35 too btw), I've been creating stories and writing since I was a kid. I actually got into written RPGs to improve my writing skills and to interact with others.

Anyway, hope you enjoy yourself here. What kind RPGs you into? There's a good variety on this site. For roleplaying purposes, you can start out by checking the Universes Tab where it shows all the newest RPGs. Or you can go to the Roleplayers Wanted Forum under the OOC Forum, which can be found by dropping the Forum menu.

As for what I'm interested in I'm a fan of most genres. High Fantasy, Modern, Steampunk, Cyberpunk, Scifi, Lovecraftian/Dark Fantasy... I just like creating things. I have a blogspot page with a few of the characters/settings I've created.
