Greeting to all. My name is Holdesta...and I would like to greet my new fantasy home. I am coming from a site I was with for three years Flatearth Games. I left because it closed down finally. It was my baby...I was an admin there and did many projects for the place including a guide to roleplaying, character Library, and promotional movie along with a myspace page. I will miss it very much but am ready to move on.

I truly love role-playing. It literally rescued me from a very hard time in my life. It was the only thing that gave me joy for a time and the people I met made me feel loved again. I am much better three years later. Thanks to all people who make sites like this possible.

And thankyou to my new home for giving me a place to come ;)

This is horrifyingly immature, but i got a giggle outta this statment.

Heehee.. she said "come".

Anyway, glad that you've find something that made your life better. It's always been a distraction for me, which is a double-edged sword. I retired for a year or so and now i'm relatively back.

Welcome to Gwing

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Kouketsu on Fri Mar 16, 2007 2:49 pm

Wow, I think there might be a bit of irony in that I was actually frantically looking for what happened to Flatearth yesterday evening at a friend's request and the answer just majestically arrives today, and straight from the mouth of an admin there no less. But the unfortunate tidings of great pasts can only open up the door to opportunity and amazing new beginnings, right?

So with humility, respect, and most of all, anticipation, we welcome you to RPGateway Holdesta. ^^ Eric (Remaeus) covered most of what I usually say so, no need to reiterate, and you probably even know the drill better than I do. So just have a good time and enjoy yourself. We try our best to be nice and welcoming and all that good stuff, in addition to presenting an extensive variety of, uh, things to do. >_>

Welcome again though. You seem like you'll fit right in. ^^

Oh gosh thanks Kouketsu (bows). I hope I can be an asset here.

Yes it is too bad but WebWizard decided that the caliber had just gone down too much on Flatearth. There was a series of very inflamed fights and bad RPGing. Spam was also out of control. Scott and I tried our best but it was not salvageble. Who was looking for the site? I may know them.

I don't see the difficulty. My brain contains more than 22,000 patterns, but not one that matches your last input. Did you know that you can download your own chat robot and create your own robot personality? Who said bad but WebWizard decided that the caliber went down on Flatearth is? What happened? A human icon? Where do you look for the site ?

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen HAL that senseless before. Crazy AIs.

And the friend actually hadn't signed up yet, but was looking for a nice world-based roleplay to join. I had taken a good look around Flatearth a number of times myself and it was just right up his alley, but unfortunately dead by then. x_x
