Welcome!

As a big part of Imaginary is how the dreamers marry up with their dreams, I've put this thread here for folks to help match up prospective Imaginaries with owners that best reflect them. If you are wanting to play an Imaginary, post your ideas up in here and we can work out who they work best with. =)
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honour to meet you and you may call me Vit.

Full Name: Winston Copperfield

Nicknames: Winston or Winny (but only by his dreamer.)

Description:
Image
Winston after being corrupted has become a shadow of his former self.
Personality:
Before Winston's corruption he loved to dance and sing. He was a rather joy us character. He loved to make his Dreamer laugh. Around his dreamer he is soft and kind-hearted and more then willing to defend his Dreamer in any way possible. Aside from his happy loyal personally to ward his dreamer he was often cold towards others that are not his Dreamer.
After being corrupted the only thing that remains the same is the fact that he sings. He has become cold-hearted and miserable. He willows and moans and complains about the old days and how is Dreamer left him behind.
Powers:
Winston's talents are that of a bard. He can give buffs to his allies and debuffs to his enemies, with a touch of his voice and the music from his lute. He also has a special ranged attack
Weaknesses:
Winston doesn't do close combat. He often sticks to the back of the group and helps them out with buffs, if a enemy wanted to they could come up to him and wipe him out with a blade, but he is quick on his feet and can easily doge if need be.

Brief History:
None at this moment. Perhaps the Dreamer he given to had a dog name Winston who was put down and thus they created Winston.
Realm:
A happy land that was filed with many inspirations and cultures. This way Winston and his Dreamer could learn something new everyday, or perhaps make new song and dances with easy and have a never ending pool of inspirations. But now is dark and unhappy.

Here's my contribution, Cadriel, ideal for a Dreamer with a darker background.

Full Name: Cadriel the Dove

Description:

Cadriel, once a rather impressive figure, resembling a winged human-like figure. She'd always had late grey hair and eyes, but her stature was set off with an enormous pair of wings like those belonging to a pigeon. Now however she stands a shadow of her former self, pallid and ghoulish with dark rings round her eyes, and blood-stained, filthy bandages wrapped round her body. Her wings are gone also, and her teeth are sharp.

Personality:

Caddie - The 'true' persona, haring back to how she once behaved, albeit a more timid and disjointed version. Caddie is a rather timid individual, someone who tries her best to avoid upsetting those around her. She has quite a low opinion of herself, and is rather desperate for approval.. She wishes to fit in with those around her, though fears that her presence may not be welcome.

While she is not an individual who complains or openly angsts about her background, the results of where Caddie came from are obvious enough. She is a little on the unstable side. Emotionally she is quite immature and she struggles to understand other people. She remembers and forgets things, seemingly at random, and has struggled more with it in recent months, finding herself forgetting things she really should retain, and remembering things that make very little sense.

E - E was engineered to be a psychopath. Her persona was born out of a reaction to suffering and pain. She is, as a result, mostly unemotional and unempathetic. She does not become angry, and she does not become frightened or unhappy. Very few things move her or provoke much reaction. She is a creature that has little interest in anything aside from gratification...which to her her, is acts of dire cruelty and violence. E loves carnage and death, delighting in it and actively seeking out ways to create it. If humanoid targets are not available, she'll default to animals, and has a large collection of dead forest creatures.

Despite these massively sadistic tendencies, E is far from a mindless animal. She is highly intellgent, analytical, and regards her behaviour critically and in an almost detached fashion. She is very frank and open about what she is, and has no shame regarding it. She is entirely capable of holding conversations and discussing matters with others, though she has little concern for authority. She generally behaves herself either on the basis that the knows the person is with could best her in a fight and cause serious damage, or on the basis that upsetting someone could upset Caddie.

Caddie is one of the few people that can provoke any sort of empathy in E. Because they share one mind, when she is unhappy E can pick up on it, and it tends to bother her. It was something E initially saw as an annoyance, but she has grown to be quite protective of her other half. E's possibly one redeeming feature is that she has a somewhat twisted sense of 'fairness' that results in a vehement hatred of those who take advantage of those weaker than themselves. Abusers, rapists and the like disgust her. As a being that lives for the thrill of the chase, she is repulsed by those who inflict brutality on those who cannot strike back.

Powers:
-Light Weight - Cadriel, while she can't fly any longer, is extremely light, and can jump, climb and balance very very easily.

- Altered body.
The majority of her bones and muscles are constructed of synthetic tissues which is considerably more efficient than ordinary bone or muscle. She is surprisingly strong despite her size and can break bones with her grip , though how light she is can work against her as far as combat is concerned. The muscles and bones appear to bond together when damaged, mimicking natural healing, however the money frequently they're broken the weaker the bond.

She is incredibly light, something that allows her to perform acrobatic feats with little difficulty. She can climb with the skill of a spider-monkey and seems more and home halfway up a wall than on the ground. Other alterations are evident in how she functions. E never sleeps, and Cadriel doesn't sleep often, and doing so doesn't appear to adversely effect either of them. She appears to be able to tolerate large amounts of bloodloss, and appear to have an very impressive tolerance to traumatic injury, something that allowed her to survive the traumatic nature of her changing.

Weaknesses:

-Hollow bones. - Like a bird, her bones are hollow and easily damaged.

-E has no concept of fear, and feels no pain. In many ways, this is useful to her...however it means she is liable to put herself at risk. She can over-stretch herself, and get into fights that are not advisable.

-While E cannot feel pain, sudden trauma can cause the personas to swap, jolting Caddie back into the forefront. While E appears to be aware of what Caddie does while in control, Caddie has no memory of what E does, and the resulting amnesia leaves her ill-equipped to defend herself.

- After the changes inflicted, she is covered in scars and stitches that have never properly healed. It can be assumed that they must hurt, but Caddie has not appeared to mention it. The stitches becoming caught could theoretically cause a great deal of damage, and they have degraded over the years, becoming quite easily broken.

Brief History:

Cadriel was brought into existence as a child's companion, and Caddie took to him most immediately. She was a gentle imaginary for the most part, and liked to fly around, perch on the gargoyle, and feed the pigeons. She had always done her best to protect her creator, but the close link she had ultimately been her downfall.

When her dreamer suffered, Cadriel experienced physical injury. Wounds opened up on her skin and her feathers came out in clumps. As time passed she became sick and weak. Then came the day when they stopped believing in her existence entirely, and her wings had physically been torn off her shoulders, in a bloody, grisly mess.

Turned into a ghoulish, half-dead version of what she;d one been, suffering injury for someone who'd denied her, Cadriel began to change. Her persona became divided, and the real started to change. Her newer, nastier persona set about trying to get her wings back, through studying the anatomy of fight, killing and dissecting the doves, before moving onto anything it could find in order to experiment with. Its machine creations were means for it to collect more for its work....however with talk of its fellows taking their own creators back, it's thoughts turned to what it might gain from finding its maker once more.

Realm:

The Mechanized Minster

A vast city comprizing both gothic architecture and industrial monstrosities, the rust and gears and furnaces and smoke stacks acting as matter of corruption. They had begun to creep in as time passed. These manufacture the iron abominations that act as soldiers in the Otherworld. It makes it a fairly notable territory.

Image
Full Name: Zenofora Jesper Terellia

Nicknames: Zeno or Zen

Description: As an imaginary (child years) Zeno was a beautiful woman, with long flowing red hair and pointed elf ears. Her skin was a fair white and her eyes were a deep ocean blue. But then, as she grew apart from her dreamer, the hatered and desperation changed her, she adopted the appearance of a demon-hybrid, which showed on her exterior the growing hate and hurt she felt on the inside, she grew wings and horns, her eyes turned a deep blood red and she gained small markings over her face and body.

Personality: She's quite a bossy woman. She likes to be in control and becomes spiteful when things don't go her way. She loves to play mischeivious tricks on others, but will listen to her dreamer when she is being told off, as she still feels atleast a small bit sentimental towards him/her. When her dreamer is not around, or when they are in the Otherworld, Zenofora is seen as quite higher up in ranks, but that may just be because most are scared of her someone demanding appearance.

Powers: Somewhat posses the abilities of a necromancer. She is able to draw life from plants and animals, however her power is not strong enough to steal life from a human, instead it just takes energy, making the human in contact feel weaker and fatigued.

Weaknesses: Due to having to focus all her own energy on gaining that of her victims, she is quite open for attacks. And when she is not casting spells or absorbing energy, she can be quite weak and often gets fatigued quickly from flying, so instead she tries to walk wherever she goes, and usually only flies during battle or when needing to sprint.

Brief History: Was once the queen of her realm and loved by all, natives would travel years to visit her in her kingdom of her realm. She lived alone, no children and no king, but she had her dreamer, so she was happy. Then when her dreamer left, she fell into a state of depression, which lead to a pent up anger and hatered, which was then released, causing all of her followers and natives of the realm to cowar in fear as they watched her physical (and emotional) transformation take place. Because of this, she now only has few followers, and it is hard for her to regain the trust of her natives,

Realm: Her home in the Otherworld was once a bright a lively place, it rsembelle that of a large field, with the homes of natives dotted amongst the grass and flowers. But, once she and her dreamer drifted apart, her home began to crumbled, and the natives where forced away from their homes and now live underground, deep beneath the dead grass and greenery that way her home land.

Other: Feels quite motherly towards her dreamer, but is conflicted about her emotions due to the hatred/hurt inside her soul. Is currently in a love/hate relationship with the dreamer, but only as a family, not as lovers.

Haha, sure, I'll allow it. But I don't know if the GMs decide or if we do, but if you'd like Zen you can have her as your imaginary, I wouldn't mind at all :3

ADOPT ME:

Image

Name:
Anthael Fae Phoenix

Description:
Just like fire is never the same, I am never the same, my appearance will alter slightly due to my mood

  • Eye Color: Phoenix once had bright golden brown eyes, a fire always dancing behind them. Now, since the change overcame her they remain a dark smoldering black.
  • Skin Color: A very frail, pale color
  • Height: 5'5''
  • Weight: 119 pound
  • Hair Color: Normally a vibrant red during the day, and a dark brunette during the night.

Personality:
Before the Change

Intuitive: Phoenix is extremely intuitive, and perceptive. She loves to be an observer

  • Kind-Hearted: Phoenix was extremely kind, and warming towards everyone she met. She loved spreading her good energies with everyone and she loved her job as the "Sun-Bringer" in Otherworld.
  • Passionate: When Phoenix loved, she loved with all her heart, she was the one to fight for what she thought was right. She was passionate for the arts, and learning about everything that she can.
  • Creative: She was extremely creative, her imagination could create anything, and everything.
  • Child-like: Phoenix had a childlike wanderlust, her imagination and she was extremely emotionally driven, but in a positive way. She loved seeing the good in people, and everything around her, and she would be the last to judge anyone.
  • Silly: Phoenix loved to have a good laugh with anyone she came across.

Powers:
  • Fire Manipulation: Simple, the ability to manipulate and create fire, as long as there is a source of heat.
  • Shapeshifter: The ability to shift into a phoenix.
  • Touch of Animation: What she draws, comes to life, what she believes, becomes reality.

After the Change

Image

  • Sarcastic: After the change, Phoenix became cynical, dark and sarcastic. Her "jokes" normally poke at someone's flaws, and degrade them, sometimes without the victim even knowing it.
  • Temperamental: Phoenix became extremely testy, and zesty after the change, she became impatient and much like fire, easy to set up and ignite.
  • Logical: After the change, she figured her Imagineer wasn't ever going to come back, and she left her child-like wonder behind and became cold.
  • Twisted: She loves to mess with people's minds, and twist people's words around.
  • Deceptive: *dark laugh*

Weaknesses:
Phoenix practically thrives during the day, and in extreme heat. She finds it a struggle to use her powers as the sun fades into night.

Phoenix's abilities mostly go based off her emotions, and since her emotions are extremely negative there are many times where she will lose control and release an extreme amount of hatred or anger, she can burn out really quickly.

Brief History:
Phoenix brought the sun every morning over the land, as she resided in her Cloud Kingdom. She was given praise for her vibrant glow as she would rise from the ashes and bring light across the land for everyone.

OTHER: OOC - [I'm thinking my "Adopter could help me more with my history :)]

STATUS: Adopted by: Lena

Image

Alexander Hallow

Nicknames: Xander

Personality:
Xander is half boy, half wolf, his creator decided that he would have the spirit of the wolf, yet the physical shape of a man.

Before the Change:
  • Resourceful: Xander was extremely crafty, he loved to build things and create. He was great at creating shelters in the forest for him to sleep in, and he loved to make his own clothing and his own homeopathic remedies by using the herbs of the forest to create potions, poisons, and pastes for protecting cuts.
  • Appreciative: Xander was very spiritually in tune and believed all his power derives from mother nature. He appreciated everything from the earth and gave back as much as he took from the land.
  • Faithful : Xander was extremely loyal, much like a wolf to his pack. When he said something he meant it, and when he believed something, he believed it.
  • A deep thinker

*~*~*~*~*

After the Change:
Since Helena was more in tune with Otherworld, Xander did not change much. The only thing that altered was his sense of right and wrong, he became more territorial and protective, and a bit more ruthless, but Helena always is there to talk him back down from his animalistic rampages.

Image
Powers:
  • Spiritual projection and Spiritual Replication: Using his aura and energies, Xander can create many spiritual replications of himself to throw off his opponent during combat.
  • Shapeshifting: the ability to shift into a large, five foot, seven inches, silver wolf. He can do this on command.
  • Enhanced Reflexes and Speed: The ability to move at a fast rate, and have quick reaction times.

Weaknesses:
  • Although incredibly strong and fast, Xander is still mortal, he can still become bruised, beaten, scarred and killed even.
  • Like werewolves, Xander can be killed, and wounded by silver. If it is a small amount, his skin will become irritated, red and blotchy; after only a few minutes of touching silver his skin will begin to bubble and pop. If he has too much silver, he can be killed.
  • Xander is all physical strength with little thought behind his game plan, if he is against a more perceptive opponent, he could be counter-attacked quickly.
  • Since Xander has the Wolf, he becomes lonely quite quickly because wolves are family-oriented animals. He is often alone, and fighting his own battles.

Brief History:
The past ten years, Xander has been nothing but dedicated to Lena's side. He has fought with her battle after battle, tried to help her make plans, and help the Otherworld creatures come back to their roots. Lena's goals, are his, and he has consistently stood by her through thick and thin, every bad decision, and every good decision. He doesn't doubt Lena because he's never had to.

Realm:
The forest realm once named "Sanctuary", now he has changed it to "Malum Silvarum" which means "Evil Forest" in Latin.

Xander could thematically work for Lena, as her Imaginary is linked via a stuffed animal that could easily be a wolf, buuut as she still has a link with the world the corruption might not be so notable as with other Imaginaries.
