GENERAL: Born in South African Walter Rivers came to the United States when he was in his early 30s, due to his notoriety as a rather unusual kind of anthropologist, he quickly became head of the Occult sciences division at Marshall College.

In 1943 Walter traveled to Germany and France with his colleague and friend Abagail McHugh, the two of them sought the whereabouts of Indiana Jones (though they never found him), who had apparently disappeared near the Austrian-German boarder. Indiana, and subsequently Walter and Abagail, were looking a mythical item known as the 'Blackstone of Lucifer' in France. The Throne of Lucifer of which the Blackstone was part had been buried (with the use of Dynamite wielded by Walter) within the mountain beneath the Monsegur stronghold in southern France. This is where Walter was shot by Niclas Elberich. Niclas though dead (thought to have fallen off the mountain) survived.

Once back in the United States Walter took time off the recuperate, returning to his work at Marshall college a few months later. Then in 1944 Walter traveled to Ireland at the request of Abigail to join Indiana (rumored to be somewhere in Ireland) Abigail, and a young archaeologist named Bridget O'Maley, on a journey to retrieve three magical items which dated back to the very founding of the country, even though Walter didn't put much stock in myths concerning Fairies, he went along initially due to a sense of dedication and obligation to his friend Abigail, though in the end he became a believer. The fourth item had already been retrieved by the SS, under the command of Niclas Elberich. The four scholars were successful in stealing the last item (Sword of Fraegarthach) away from the Nazi's, though in the end the item was destroyed. Bridget had been shot and killed by Niclas, who was then chased by Walter. Indiana and Abigail drove away from the site, but Walter who was in pursuit of Niclas, vanished from the scene, not to be seen again for several years.

..........And the adventure continues.

The third installment (a prequel), Dr. Walter Miller had been teaching at Marshall college for several years before Abigail McHugh joined the staff of the illustrious institute, home of the famous (some might say infamous) Dr. Henry Jones Jr. (Indiana Jones). The events of the third installment of the 4 part Indiana Jones RPG series, pits Walter and Abigail, with the help of a lovely young blond archaeologist named Andrea Lexington, against a mad scientist. Dr. Aldo Curry, head of the Danvers mental asylum in upstate New York had claimed to possesses the original Ouija board, which as it turned out was not what people had assumed, it was in fact a device, a device for communicating with the dead-A machine. The story takes place 2 years before the events in the previous installment, and so it introduces Walter and Abigail to each other for the first time.

After traveling to New York the three scholars discover that they had been tricked, the man who had written was in fact not Dr. Aldo Curry, but someone pretending to be him. After discovering the doctors remains and getting trapped within the mental hospital Andrea is killed when she falls out the third story window, the rope which she was using having been cut by some of the inmates. The imposture was killed by the Ouija device, only to be reanimated and possessed by the souls of the dead. An enterprising young Nazi agent named Gabriela had attempted to take the device for herself, in the end she was torn apart by the spirits which had infested the imposter's body. The device was taken back to Marshall college where it was stored in Walter's basement, never to be activated again. Her death took its toll on Walter and he would grieve over the loss of his friend and colleague for the rest of his days.

The latest, 4th, and final installment of the Indiana Jones RPG series introduces another arch enemy for Dr. Walter Miller and professor Abigail McHugh, this maniacal and disgusting man is named Gottberg Von Adalwolf, head of the torture squad of the SS. World War II was over, Hitler was dead, and the scum of the earth called the Nazi party was all but dead or imprisoned. Gottberg and Niclas Elberich both had an interest to discover the whereabouts of a sacred Nazi object-A flag. This being the legendary Blood Flag, an unholy relic which Hitler used to anoint every single Nazi flag that was made. The flag was said to be drenched in the blood of the sixteen Nazi party members that died in 1933 when Hitler first sought to take over Germany-The so-called 16 Martyrs.

The Blood Flag was also said to hold the power of bringing all the Nazi that died during the war back from the dead, thus creating an army of undead warriors, with the resurrected Adolf Hitler commanding his army of darkness. Walter and Abigail set out on another adventure together in an attempt to retrieve the flag before the Nazi have a chance to find it, Walter had known of its whereabouts for several months prior to his return to Marshall college, having been away for a year hunting down Niclas. The two scholars eventually meet young Gunter Hertz and his older cousin Albert Jurgenstern, both of whom have sorted pasts and affiliations with the Nazi party. Albert was a former Nazi soldier who got out when the killing of innocents such as the Jews first became known within the ranks. Gunter had deserted his position within one of Hitler's youth corps. Albert is shot and killed when the four protagonists attempt to escape in a Nazi army Jeep, Gunter is eventually kidnapped by Gottberg who takes him to where the body of Adolf Hitler is being hidden-His intention is to resurrect his master-The Fuhrer.
