The year is 2045 and the world has gone to shit. Governments have become controlling, some countries became dictatorships, while others declared martial law. The people feared the government and the world was unhappy. Power was what controlled.
Then some godly force, may it be the christian god, gods of ancient, gods of today's religions, or gods no one has heard of or worshipped, some godly force granted 4 humans powers over the elements. Earth, Fire, Water, Air. They were told to use these powers for the good of mankind, to help nurse the world back before a new World War wiped out the planet.
But this proved not enough, as the humans turned against the Original Four. So this god, or gods, or goddess, granted six more humans powers in hopes the ten would be listened to. Earth, Metal, Fire, Electricity, Water, Ice, Air, Energy, Plants and Poison. They were called the peacekeepers and they would use their powers to save humanity. This almost worked...
Until some other mysterious power granted a human with the powers of the Nether and another with powers of Shadow. These two were to turn the others against each other and throw the world into even more chaos.
The fist divine being, believing in order and balance, had to balance the new two out just like others were, and such granted Light and another with Space-Time and one more with Gravitational powers, to hopefully throw the odds back into the good side's favor... But to no avail, Nether and Shadow had ripped the team in two... The Peacekeepers had chosen sides, one side Evil the other side good. Fire, Earth, Electricity, Metal, Poison, Shadow, and Nether, against Water, Air, Ice, Energy, Plants, and Light. Space-Time and Gravity stayed neutral and for the original cause of bringing them all together and saving humanity.
Also, though the good side is called good, they aren't technically completely good. They've given up humanity and instead worry on killing off the Evil side primarily.

The Peacekeepers will be an OP-character friendly roleplay, as all characters will have insanely strong powers it will be balanced on a higher level. Also, it will be a serious and literate roleplay, meaning you have to spell correctly and use correct grammar along with common sense. It also means I will choose whether you're allowed in the roleplay or not.

So, anyone interested?
