Jumping right in...

Well. Here's the deal.

I'm new to these boards, but definitely not to role-playing and writing.
I need a place to slide in and interact with other characters and be apart of this society, but I need to know what people need.

Do you want a villain or a hero?
Which storylines?
What thread?
And what kinda character does your plot need?

I'll build from there and jump right in. I've played nearly fifty characters in my timeline of role playing, so I'm rather diverse in nature. =)

This post was moved for a variety of reasons. Mostly, though, the Growth forum is reserved for IC posting, or excerises that are are meant to help a player develope his or her ability to write. Your thread does not seem to do any of the above.

For obvious reasons it has been moved to the OOC forum. Please feel free to continue poking around, and figuring out what rps and stories can best use your skills.

It's really exciting that you're not afraid to play any kind of character.

I think you'd be great for this project I'm trying to start up: Shotgun RPing. The RP plot we're starting off with may be a bit simplistic for your caliber, but I figure we should start small to see if this project could work at all. As you can see, our first session didn't go as planned... Anyway,the gist of the project has gone through a few incarnations, but so far it looks like this:

1. Loosely sketch out characters and plot.
2. Pick a day to RP the heck out of it!
3. Actually finish the RP!

I also thought it would be cool if we could finish the RP in a few 1-3 hour sessions. Maybe each person could have a 15-30 minute time limit to post to keep things rolling and the writing spontaneous. But in order for the RPG to take flight, we may need to plan what characters are needed and what plot to go by. That's where you come in!

So far, the Shotgun team is a bit... defunct. However, I've been in contact with Amethyst Knight, so Ame's definitely in and can start sometime next week. I'll PM the rest of the people to see if they have the time to do it too. But we just need at least two dedicated people to do this. And yeah, it would be cool to have you play an integral character to the plot.

On another note, If that doesn't suit your interests, you should scope out some RPGs that are just starting out, such as The Almost Modern Fantasy. As an experienced role-player, you could decide for yourself what the story needs to keep it going.
