Tips: 0.00 INK Postby SSJHunterKiller on Sat Apr 28, 2007 11:36 pm

The sun was bright the next morning when Kanzaki slid open the door and exited the building. He wasn't sure where Midnight was, but if he wasn't around, that would make setting up the next part of the training that much easier for Kanzaki. After taking a nice long drink of water to help clear the rest of the booze from his head, Kanzaki took off into the direction of Konoha's main gate. Kotetsu Hagane and Izumo Kamizuki were on duty that morning and greeted Kanzaki with smiles as he passed.

There weren't many people out on the streets. Kanzaki guessed that they were either inside working or doing other chore like activities. The walk to the Hokage's mansion was boring and uneventful. Once there, Kanzaki headed up to Tsunade's office. He was surprised to see that Shizune wasn't there, it was the first time that Kanzaki had been in Tsunade's office without Shizune being there.

"Knock knock.[/desc]

Kanzaki pushed the door open and looked into the office. Tsunade was sitting behind her desk, as per usual, flipping through a stack of documents. Tsunade still looked a little tired, but other than that, there were no signs that she had been in a brutal match just a few hours ago.

[ic]So what do you want this time Kanzaki? I'm a very busy woman you know. I don't have time to cater to your every whim."

"This one isn't for me. I'm testing that kid you sent after me, Midnight I believe his name is. I'd like permission to set up an exam for him."

Tsunade stopped shifting through the papers and looked up at Kanzaki with a stern look on her face.

"What sort of test did you have in mind? I mean, couldn't you get everything you need by.....your...self......"

Tsunade closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"So, you intend to go all the way with this do you?"

Kanzaki nodded. He was impressed that Tsunade caught on that quickly.

"Well, the final choice is still up to him, but you know what the choices will end up being. He started this by asking me and you furthered it by allowing the training. You knew this was to be."

Tsunade opened her eyes and glared at Kanzaki.

"Well, there's not much I can do then. If I tell him that he can't take your training, he'll leave. So it happens either way."

Tsunade stood up and turned to look out the window. A gentle breeze blew through the office while Tsunade looked out the window and Kanzaki stood there looking at her back.

"Fine. You know what to do and how to get it. This will be the end though. After this, we're even. I own you nothing and you'll have to go through the same process that all the other ambassadors have to go through."

The breeze died down and Tsunade turned around. The room was empty and on her desk was the letter that she had signed for him so long ago and a small package wrapped in black paper.

"Take care Kanzaki...............I mean, Shadow Village Ambassador."

Kazuma looked mildly around Konoha, getting the drop on that ninja had been a piece of cake. He smiled as he thought of the battle, his shadow clone had done an excellent job. Now however, he had a very important matter to attend to, he needed to eat. His eyes searched the main street and locked on to what it was he needed, The Ichraku Ramen stand. Kazuma smiled again and made his way toward the stand.

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Midnight on Sun Apr 29, 2007 12:33 am

Midnight was sitting up on his roof meditating as he always did before a mission or hard training. Most just thought he was just sitting there but he was actually running a constent simulation in his mind. Normally it was a fight between him and himself or a random ninja. This time he was agianst Kanzaki. He tested everything he saw, everything that was possible, and even everthing that wasn't possible. He would sit there meditating waiting for Kanzaki to come and get him when he was ready.

Kanzaki appeared on the roof a few feet behind Midnight.

"The preparations for the second part of the test are complete. This part will test your stealth skills. There is a document hidden in a building outside Konoha. There are an undetermined number of guards, both Shinobi and civilian. Once I give the go ahead, you've got thirty minuets to get the document, without using any jutsus."

Kanzaki closed his eyes for a few seconds and thought back to when he and the other children had been put through this test. Kanzaki was ten at the time and it had taken him two tries to get the hand of it and passed on his third attempt. Most of the children passed on their third or forth try. Only one passed on the first attempt. She was the one that was now referred to as "Lady Kage" back in the Shadow Village.

"We can start whenever you're ready. Since you're already a Chuunin, I'm expecting you to pass this on the first try. We were only children when we had this test given to us."

"Ok see you when I get back."

With that he lept off the roof jumping roof to roof and eventually over the wall of the village. He eventually came up to the building. He knew it was the right one because the ninja standing around it. He perched on a branch watching.
"Lets see four on the roof, a couple outside, and I'm sure theres quite a bit inside."

He said to himself before hoping down just out of sight. He took out a couple smoke bombs and tossed them through a closed window into the first floor. Then he jump up into a tree and threw a couple to cover the roof.
This sent everybody into a panic. The men upstairs and outside ran down and in to see what the commotion was about as well as the ninja on the roof being momentarily blinded. Midnight hoped to the ground and quickly got to the side of the building and he started climbing it he used his chakra to so stick to the wall scaling up it to a second story window.
Midnight slowly looked in the window seeing if anybody was in there and quietly opened it up. He quietly crawled in looking around in the bedroom till he saw a box sitting on the bed. He walked over and opened up picking up the scroll. By now the guards were out of the smoke and started coming up stairs. Midnight tossed another smoke bomb out the door to block the top of the stairs and another outside making a small wall of smoke that he used to leap back into the tree line.
With the scroll carefully in hand he headed back towards town heading back towards the roof Kanzaki was still standing on. About 25 minutes in to the test Midnight handed the scroll to Kanzaki.

"Well. Hows that."

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Sanjuro on Tue May 01, 2007 7:24 pm

Sanjuro had sent a messenger to the Hyuga compound to inform Hiashi that the sparing match wouldn’t be for another day or so, the injuries he had inquired had been a slightly bit more severe then he had anticipated. As he walked the streets of Konoha he had heard the familiar steps of his comrade Kazuma from around the corner. When he had gone around the corner his guess was confirmed when he saw that it was him.

“ Hey Kazuma, what’s up? You by chance wouldn’t be getting something to eat cause I am hungry and I was heading towards the ramen stand. Come on, I know the way” and with that Sanjuro took lead and they headed towards the ramen stand.

Kanzaki stared at Midnight for a few seconds then sighed and shook his head.

"Well at least you got the document. The next two and final parts will be the most taxing on you, physically that is. For the first part, I'm going to test your chakra abilities. And yes, I'm going to want to see all but the most basic jutsus that you know. This will allow me to get the idea of exactly how much chakra you have as well as all your jutsu capabilities. And the final part, if you haven't guessed already, will be combat. There will be four parts to that test, armed combat, unarmed combat, jutsu combat and all out combat. I suggest you take the next two or three days to get your things together and get things in order here, because there's a chance you won't be back for a very long time. And now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some friends to meet with."

Kanzaki waved and stepped backwards off the roof and fell into the builds shadow, completely vanishing, leaving behind no trace whatsoever.

Kanzaki waited for Kazuma and Sanjuro to walk past a shadow, then raised himself from it and joined in their walk.

"If anyone knows where it is, you'd think it'd be me. After all I was the one that did his final mission here."

Kazuma looked at both of his comrades, his face brightening a little.

"Sanjuro, Kanazaki, I hope you both know the way considering you're both originally from here."

His eyes narrowed with mirth:

"Although Kanzaki, I'll understand if you don't remeber considering your age."

Kazuma smiled even wider, it sure was good to be back with his squad even if it was only a little while.

Kanzaki glared at Kazuma, then smiled himself.

"I'm only like a month or two older than you. I think you're confusing power and age again my friend. I mean, everyone knows of the Legendary Beast Ninja from the Shadow Village. And you couldn't beat me in a fight anyways! Besides, I couldn't remember the way from when I originally lived here. I was taken away before I was even a year old."

Kanzaki laughed. All three of them were roughly the same strength, but they all loved busting each others chops about stuff like that.

"So what have you two been doing since I've been gone and back again? Hope you guys haven't just been slacking off and doing nothing."

Sanjuro continued to walk with his squad mates and watched as Kanzaki and Kazuma talked. He always enjoyed spending time with them, they had spent a lot of time together in their village. They trained together when they had no mission or needed to train with other people, they had risked their lives on missions together. Their bonds had grown a lot stronger then he had originally thought back when they first got assigned to their squad so many years ago.

“ Well I am going to be doing somewhat of a sparing match with Hiashi Hyuga within a day or so, I was supposed to be today but I feel that I haven’t fully recovered yet, and I don’t want anything holding me back, so I already sent a messenger to the compound earlier today, and then was on my way to eat something when I came across Kazuma here.” Sanjuro replied to Kanzaki’s question.

“ What about you two? How goes things?” Sanjuro asked curiously.

"Well, I went off to the Land of Waves to talk to Jiraiya. Found him, doing Jiraiya stuff. Was attacked by a Hidden Rain Chuunin, that was fun. And ran into Kisame there."

Kanzaki stopped talking and looked over to his squad mates. He wasn't surprised to see that they had stopped walking and were looking at him with slightly confused looks on their faces.

"Yeah, had a nice little chat with him on the Great Naruto Bridge, man that's a lame name for a bridge. And that's not even the best part. Got back here to find that our little buddy Izon was fighting with Juggs. He did pretty good, even if he did lose. And to top it all off......"

Kanzaki looked around to make sure nobody was paying attention to them. Because Kanzaki didn't want to stir up a panic in the streets.

"I'm pretty sure Itachi was watching that fight too. I couldn't even sense or smell him. Didn't even know he was there until he clapped at the end of the fight."

Midnight nodded to Kanzaki before he left and then headed out to the forest to rain.

Meanwhile just outside Konoha clouds started forming over head as if it was going to rain. Though these clouds collected faster then normal. With a sudden flash a bolt of lighting hit the ground causing a small crater. Standing in the crater was Shinkai of the Village Hidden in the Clouds. He started walking to the gate but was stopped by a guard yelling down at him.
"Hey you stop. What is your business here."

"Its not with you. I'm hear for your kage."
Shinkai said looking up at the guards on the top of the gate. One turned to another.
"Hey go get Shizune or The Hokage."

Tsunade looked up from her paper work as two different ninja knocked on her office door almost as the same time. One was a messenger from the guards at the gate, the other was a messenger from the Falcon room. Tsunade looked back and forth between the two then pointed at the messenger from the gate, signaling for him to go first.

"Ma'am, we've got a ninja from the Hidden Cloud Village at the gate, he says he's got business with you, but won't say anything about what it is."

Tsunade nodded and pointed at the messenger from the falcon room.

"We just got a message from the Raikage saying that he's concerned about the sudden influx of ninja traveling too and from our village. He says that a ninja, I'm guessing the one at the gate, will be here shortly to look around, assuming that it's ok with you of course."

Tsunade smiled and nodded.

"Well then, it looks like we've just solved two problems at one. Have someone escort our guest to my office. I've got enough time to answer any questions that he may have."

The two messengers bowed and left the room, leaving Tsunade to finish up some more paperwork before her guest arrived.

Shinkai waited till the gates open to reveal an escort for him. He just put his hands in his pockets and followed the escort up to the mansion. Upon entering the hokage's office he looked around at it and at her.

"I trust I beat the falcon. It's a pleasure meeting you Lady Kage. I am Shinkai."
He said watching her bowing slightly as he introduced himself. But never changing his facial expression from the cool look he had when he entered the village.

"Yes you did. So I'm guessing you had no trouble getting here. Please, have a seat. Now, what can I do for you and the Raikage?"

Tsunade motioned to a chair that she had brought in before Shinkai had arrived.

"The message with the falcon said that the Raikage was concerned about the influx of ninja that have been making their way in and out of Konoha, and I'm guessing that he's talking about those not from our village. But yes, there have been some coming and going. Most notable, three ninja from the Shadow Village. As you may or may not know, we have an alliance with them and they're here training some of our Chuunin and looking into having some of their younger ninja trained here for a few months."

Tsunade locked her finger together and set her elbows on her desk, resting her chin on hands.

"I believe that I've covered everything in the letter. Is there anything else that you wish to know?"

“Itachi you say. For some reason I seem to miss these things. Well I guess that’s what happens when I tend to my injuries. At any rate, we’re here. I’m hungry so we can keep talking while we eat.” Sanjuro finished talking and took a seat at the ramen stand.

“ Alright give me the same thing I had the other day I was here, I believe it was beef ramen.” Sanjuro ordered his ramen as the other two sat down and started to order their ramen.

“ So I was thinking about my match with Hiashi, and I am not so sure how to approach it, but don’t get me wrong, that’s not the reason why I pushed it back. I already told you why I pushed it back. I want to make sure I prove to him that I was not so weak as to just throw aside the way I was back when I was selected to go to the Shadow village.” Sanjuro continue to talk as his gaze wondered off somewhere.

[OOC: I will be controlling Izon for this post. But don't worry becuase I asked his permission first.]

Izon woke to a severe pain that traced the entire frame of his body. He sat up in bed, and through the intense mirroring of the window’s streaming light by the cream walls, white sheets, and white ceiling and floor, he became especially aware of the pain that throbbed in his temples. He turned away, drawing his eyes shut in haste.

He waited a moment, coughing out a horrible rasp in his through before he collected himself and made an attempt of reopening them; succeeding with a squint as his corneas slowly adjusted. At first he could only see a hazy outline of shapes, all other details being blended and amorphous, but after a moment he could see details. He then took note of a tall scythe propped up against the far left corner and near the door, its staff black and its wry blade concealed by a large sock of black fabric. “Aneko?â€
