The world is dying, no one knows what happened, why this is happening, thats all forgotten history, there are tales of the world before, when people where happy, when you would panic if you were to see a child with a bomb strapped to their chest, but now, now that is a common sight, many loose the will to live, and kill themselves if the soldiers don't get to them first. The world has been at war longer than anyone can remember, now they say this war is coming to an end, the danger is going, has gone away, but some can see the fire is still alight, burning into the night.
Perhaps i should start from where it all began...
It was December 21st, 2012, People thought it was the end of the world, many people were running around scared for their lives. The non-believers did their best to enjoy their day indoors despite the madness outside. But you know, they were right, the world was about to end, but not in the way anyone expected. The leaders of the free world have gone to an all out war, the only rule, no nukes, this meaning the human race would go on after their war was done, though they did not count on how long the war would last, nor what some 'weapons' would do.
The war raged on, years passed, the world leaders passed their successors holding a burning belief that theirs was right. All were wrong, they didn't know. This went on, Leaders after leaders, on and on, until we come to now, over a million years in the future, the world is still dying, slowly, painfully. The leaders claim to a resolve, lies, all lies, but you don't know that. The 'weapons' have roamed and bread with the rest of the human population... somehow... Those who have even the slightest hint of 'weapon' blood are hunted, in fear that the power might be activated, destroying what little remained, or thats what they say, in truth, and secret, they extract the power, killing the weapon, to use in a more reliable form.
But for those who live in fear, well, they do not know, the prophet who spoke of a man known only as 'the guy' who would come from the skies, be imprisoned only to escape and end the war.
