Legend of the Five Rings.

So I am currently playing on a website called http://www.fiveringsonline.com which is a website based on the RPG called Legend of the Five Rings. Here's the website. http://www.LegendoftheFiveRings.com (Note: It is based off of a Card Game with the same name.)

Okay. So about now I reckon, if you're still reading, that you are wondering all about the wonderful world of Rokugan...... (That is the land Legend of the Five Rings rpg takes place in.)

"Legend of the Five Rings (L5R) is a line of games set in Rokugan, a land of heroic samurai, mystical shugenja, and fearsome creatures from the Shadowlands. L5R lets you tell the story. The way you build your card decks, role-play your character, or even interact with the community of L5R gamers will affect the lives of the characters in your Clan!"

So.. If you are interested in playing an rpg with:
-An oriental feel. (Samurai, archers, ninja, shugenja, priests, monks, etc)
-That is text/chat based. (The creators actually run the game with a role-and-keep system. They programed a dice roller into a 'Web Interface' which gives the game your standard Table Top feel with an extra kick because of the number of players actually playing the game)
-Has an experience system where your character can grow both mechanically and storyline wise depending upon how you play your character. (If you train in game with a katana you will become more proficient with a katana. If you do not train at all with the kenjutsu you cannot spend experience to raise the skill. So the actions you take, things you do, effect how you can spend you experience and character growth.)
-Has a great community of players. (Every clan has a community to themselves. You can join the Imperial Legion to defend the Empire or be part in the Imperial Courts and change what the Empire is up to.)
-Active Game Masters. (Or Story Tellers. Whatever you want to call them. The GMs actually run scenes for players and manage character threads, help set up/run player made events, and pay attention to the game/world. You can easily become a GM on the site if you can A) Manage a Scene with multiple characters in it. B) Make responsible decisions C)Know the world/how the system works. )
