Since most of the members expressed interest in creating their own spaces for their characters, I will be allowing you all to use your creative freedoms to come up with Essex's hot spots. So, if your character works in a Cafe and you'd like to create that Cafe, then you should be allowed to do so! I will also be listing several points of interest that will be vital to the story. I have provided some code for you to use, but feel free to do this in whatever manner you choose!

Please remember that you can replace HEXA with the color of your chosing. Essex Star

The Essex Star is the towns local newspaper office. Its the best place that is mostly filled with the facts of day-to-day life in Essex. They have departments for everything since this is one of the best papers in the area it tries to cover everything that one would read in a paper. Also providing an online version for the modern reader.

Smith's Auto-Repair

This family ran business has existed in one form another in Essex since the early eighteen-hundreds if not earlier, starting off mainly as a blacksmith and farriers workshop before eventually moving with the times to stay somewhat relevant. The reminders of it's past still exist with the much of the old forge still in use as smelter and means by which most replacement parts are either handmade or manually repaired rather than ordered in where possible. This has earned the place the nickname of "The Smithy", though there have been musing on how some parts are so easily replaced in such a simple workshop.

Owned and operated primarily by Courtney Smith the business has went through some rocky times over the years even before she inherited it from her Grandfather. However his loss is still felt keenly by many of the town since he'd been a staple for as long as any could remember.

These days however it had pretty much became a one woman operation with her gruffer demeanour having kept most other part time workers away, at least till she'd added a stray to the workforce in the form of Alexander. Many of the town gossips have certainly commented that it's good to see a man back at work at the Smithy.

The Leaky Tap

The Leaky Tap had been a long standing tavern in Essex for as long as anyone can remember, like it's always existed and remains to be on its feet to this day even if it isn't the busiest one in the small city. It manages to make it by with its lively music, good drinks, and welcoming staff, especially the main bartender, Lara Grossman, or simply known as Cas by the patrons. Whether it's for a simple drink and be left alone to one's thoughts, or to be there for a listening ear and a meal, The Leaky Tap is the place to go. With an all too friendly bartender, to being open twenty-four hours, to having some less than savory patrons on occasion. It can be either one's safe place to unwind for a drink and conversation, or a safe haven for those trying to lie low and start over.
