OOC

Raleigh

Beep, beep, beep. With a grunt, Raleigh switched sides, eyes squinting open, looking at the beeping alam clock. It was 7:30 A.M. and she had to still finish packing and get ready to head to the airport. It was all worth it, going on spring break, taking a week off from school and leaving home to spend it with friends and relaxing in the most romantic places ever, Rome, but she was not a morning person. So getting up wasn't going to be easy. Groaning in defeat, she threw the silk blanket off herself and switched to a sitting person. Streaching, she stifled in a yawn and stood up, quickly making her bed and going downstairs to see what was for breakfast.

"Morning, sweetie." Her mother said, scooping a fried egg onto a plate with several pieces of bacon. "Hey, mom." Raleigh said, sitting at the table and rubbing her eyes. "Ready for the trip?" Her mother asked, setting the plate and a glass of juice in front of Raleigh. "I guess so." Raleigh said, thanking her mom for the food. "I still don't think it's a good idea..." Her mom said, voice getting heavy with emotion. Raleigh's younger sister, Clarie, died while on a school trip with her class, she was swimming and drowned. Since then, Raleigh's mother has been cautious with what her only remaining daughter did. It was just the two of them. Her father left when Raleigh was young and Clarie was only a toddler. "Mom, everything will be alright, there's not going to be much water where I'm going, nothing dangerous. It's Rome." Raleigh said, swallowing her egg and giving her mother a quick hug.

Smiling, Raleigh's mother nodded. "It's almost eight, you might want to start getting ready now." Grinning, Raleigh nodded and planted a kiss on her mother's cheek, dashing upstairs. She laid out her clothes she had already picked out and jumped in the shower. After getting cleaned, she put on her undergarments and finished packing what little stuff she had left. She then dressed in a lime green halter dress with her white flats. She left her hair down and combed through it, spraying scrunch spray. After examining herself, she grinned and packed her bags in the trunk of her car. "Mom, I'm heading to the airport now." Raleigh said, giving her mom a hug and kiss on the cheek. "Call you when we land." She said, waving at his mother's nervous and tearful face as she got into her car and drove to the airport.

Vincent

Vincent was up at six that morning. He was a morning person and he had to have time to go on his daily run around the park. After returning home, he grabbed a bowl and box of cereal and made himself a bowl. His mom was still in bed, and his dad was gone on a business trip; he was a traveling salesman. Vincent was also an only child, so he was the only one up and about in his home. After eating a bowl of Frosty Flakes, he washed the bowl and spoon and went upstairs to take a shower. A dim light came from his mother's room and he smiled as he heard her whispered voice talking to his father. After twenty-one years of marriage the two were still so in love, and Vincent longed for a love like that.

Shaking his head, he grabbed a towel from the closet in the bathroom and went to take his shower. He finished packing last night, so he had that out of the way. It was probably about seven now, so he had at least a hour to waster before getting his mom to take him to the airport. He had a motorcycle, but something was wrong with the engine, so when he came back from spring break from Rome he would have to work on it. Being a mechanic is his dream, and he plans on doing that after high school.

After his shower, he threw on a pair of faded jeans and a dark blue t-shirt, then slipped into his black hoodie. He never left home without his hoodie, it was a must-have for him. He smelled bacon cooking from the kitchen and grinning, he looked in the mirror and raked a hand through his shaggy hair, shaking his head until it fell perfectly the way he wanted. Walking to the kitchen, he snatched a piece of bacon from the plate sitting beside the stove and kissed the top of his mother's head, he was slightly taller then her, so he had the advantage to do so. "Hey, hun, want any eggs of anything?" She asked, piling the last batch of bacon on the plate.

"No, I ate cereal earlier. Thanks, though." He said, getting one more piece of bacon. "Oh, you leave for the trip today, right? What time?" She asked, making her a plate and some juice. "In thirty minutes we need to head to the airport." He said, getting a glass of milk and drinking it down, putting the glass in the sink. "Okay, I'll eat real quick then change, and we'll leave." Nodding, he went into his room and grabbed his bag, putting it in the backseat of the car. Shortly after, his mom came out and they got into the car, heading to the airport.

"Jane Sanders! You better get your butt up right this second." Janie's mother, Gloria called. Unbeknownst to her, Janie had been up for the past two hours packing and planning. She'd already went through her checklist about a million times, but couldn't shake that awful feeling of forgetting something. Finally deciding that she'd gotten everything and whatever forgotten could easily be picked up, Janie zipped up her two large suitcases and began hauling them down the stairs. "I'm up, Mother." Janie said, pushing her black, large-framed glassed from the tip of her nose. The petite girl's hair was pulled back into a messy ponytail, her face bared no makeup, and her clothes looked slightly wrinkled from being worn the past couple hours. Comfortable in her khaki pants and pastel blue cardigan, Janie made her way to the small car her family owned. The Sanders had money, but her father was of the frugal kind and wouldn't splurge to buy a newer or classier car. Or even a car for Janie, as a matter of fact. So, she still road the old yellow dog to school everyday. "Mother, we have to leave or I'm going to miss my flight." Jane said as politely as she could, but the sound of impatience had snaked its way into the statement. "For God's sake, You'll be on time. I don't understand why you want to gallivanting off to Rome anyway. What's so great about Rome?" There's was so much that crossed Janie's mind. The museums, the history, the architecture - Rome was magnificent and would be one of the best opportunities and learning experiences she would ever get. But, Janie knew the question was rhetorical and so, she silently pulled her luggage to their car and loaded it. After a couple more minutes of her mother searching for the keys, Janie was off to the airport and then, later to Rome. She sighed. This was going to bed the best Spring Break a girl could ask for. Well, if you took out all of the studying she had to do on the trip. AP finals were the following week.
'Cuz I'm not easy to understand, but you know me like the back of your hand. I'm your girl and you're my man. And we're makin' plans(:

Noah Nicholson

Rolling over in his king sized bed, Noah grunted as he heard the alarm clock. Its constant beeping proved to be extremely annoying. Finally, after having endured the beeping for quite a while, Noah sat up slowly in his bed and turned the alarm off. Dressed in nothing but his boxers, he stretched and looked at the time on the clock. 7:30 A.M. He still needed to get ready. He had packed everything the night before, the evidence of his actions being the six name brand suitcases, one Gucci tote bag, and inside the tote bag was his toiletry bag, which was filled with his various items. Sighing, he stood to his feet and went straight into the bathroom. The thought of taking a week off from school, and leaving home to spend it with friends, was both relaxing and exuberating. He could hardly wait to see Rome at night. Such a romantic place, and yet part of him was nervous. Surprisingly, he hadnā€™t ever been to Rome. Heā€™d been all over the world, traveling with his parents, but Rome and Egypt were two places he had yet to travel to.

The shower was everything he had hoped it would be. It relaxed his aching muscles, and eased urges that he normally had in the morning. After his shower, he dried off and put on his clothes. It was nothing too fancy, but something that was form fitting and relaxing. A pair of gray sweat pants, a tank top, black in color, and a hoodie that remained folded on the passenger seat in his car. He grabbed his wallet, any identification he may need, as well as his keys and lugged the luggage downstairs and to his car. He came back into the mansion of a house to tell his parents goodbye but they were already gone. He found a note in the kitchen as well as a large amount of cash.

ā€œDear Noah,
Inside this envelope you will find 1500 U.S. Dollars. This should be enough on your trip; however, if it isnā€™t you can always use the credit cards you have. Please try and have fun. Weā€™re sorry we didnā€™t get a chance to see you off as we had business meetings to attend. Be safe and we love you honey. Text us when you land.
Sincerely,
Your Parents xoxoxoā€

Noah smiled and put the envelope and letter into his pocket. He made sure everything was straight and clean in the house, including his bedroom. After checking, he left. The drive to the airport was relaxing. He kept his mind on enjoying all that Rome had to offer.

Umbriel Beatrix Merlin

Umbriel didn't need to be woken up it was just something all on it's own. Bree woke up when ever she wanted because she always knew what time it was if she had a clock or not and if she thought hard before she fell asleep on when she wanted to wake up then she would wake up just before that time. Now being up early she went into the bathroom and had a shower. After she did that she dried her hair after getting dressed into these clothes. there were many clothes she could have picked but they were all the clothes her mother wanted her to wear so quickly Bree went through her bag again making sure she had none of those awful clothes her mother sent and checked her bag four times to make sure she had everything. Then she took her purple suit case and back pack down stairs where she made her self something to eat.

After that Bree started to walk to the air port. You know why? Because her parents didn't believe in using a car to get places so she sighed and continued to walk to the air port which was quite a ways and hence why she woke up earlier. Almost at the air port her mind was filled with images of Rome and what it might be like, she couldn't wait Rome would not only be beautiful but would have a lot of history she could learn.

Bree saw a few well actually a lot of people pass by getting to the air port and at this time she was glad she was walking. At one point she thought she saw Vincent and his mom but she didn't bother to stop. Eventually she made it up to the air port and she walked through the doors and got everything settled and then sat in the waiting area to relax a bit.
