On this topic, we shall be world-building quite heavily in the next couple of weeks, so our locations will start growing explanations. We might also get a few prose things about Throme culture as a whole, so keep your eyes peeled.

I have also blackmailed a friend into trying to draw us a picture that is not Chicago.

Anywho, people that actually check this, mind giving us some feedback on how we're running this for you? We'd like to get this before we get our second in-game day going in order to have MotS run as smoothly and amazingly as possible. ^^

Some possible points that I, personally, want to hear about.
  • Pacing - Is the plot unfolding too slowly? Too quickly? Is it interesting? Or are there way too many lagging pauses or heck?
  • NPC-centricity - Okay, they're not really central, but they're pretty darn important plot-wise right now. Would you want us to maybe reduce down their numbers and maybe boost up the amount of PC-wise interaction?
  • Railroading - Are we doing this to you? Do you guys feel free to chase down every single thing that you want to?
  • NPC-interest - Do they bore you? Are they amusing to listen to/bother? Kinda goes with NPC-centricity stuff.
  • Imbalance - Are there a few characters that feel as though they're not getting as much limelight as others? We're hoping to cut down on GM-leadership as we get further along, but what do you guys hope for so far?

And of course, anything else that you can think of. Also, if you aren't too bothered by all of my questions, tell us what you would like to see more of. ;D Like - in terms of interaction, battling, information, heck, and we shall do our very bestest to comply.

Now let me get back to persuading Al that in order to make things fair, he shouldn't be able to buy any items in LoL.

Boo. When I was your age, people weren't simply told outright where they were. It was left a secret! An easter egg! For those dedicated enough to find out! Pheh. Youngsters these days, not knowing the proper order of things...

Well... we're moving? And I will say that the plot is definitely moving much faster than before, which is AMAZING!!! We're at the same point... in less than half the time and with no timeskips in between. From what I've seen, it's interesting. There's been conflict on both sides, even if not all has been revealed yet. Both Itex groups will likely succeed, though. Which I suppose is good for them? XD

With so few PCs, it makes sense that NPCs would start to take more of the front stage. Also, the NPCs are the higher-ups in the organizations. They're pretty darn important ANYWAY. We're just lowly pawns... trying to become better with these Mask-things of doohickey-ness. I find them rather interesting and would like to interact with them more... provided that doesn't cause my death as a result. :P

...but I suppose that can't be helped. Bring on the NPCs! Both sides need whatever help they can have. XD

Hmm. I went to a pier with two other people alone and picked up a fake package in the midst of a three-way battle which miraculously caused no deaths. I'm now headed to drop off the package, rather angry at my higher-ups for not giving me proper support, and I have no idea that the package I have is NOT what they're expecting. This could take a bad turn quickly. Also, there's extra things I'm working with railroading, but I seem to do that with every character I make... I like having a place in stories. ^^"

In other news, I have a three-personality interaction where I have a mask pretending to be another person through... another mask. And she's tailed other people who could probably kill her rather easily, she has no backup yet?, and she's now in a confrontation while trying to keep up the disguise. Again, this could take a bad turn quickly. And yet it's interesting, and she has the upper hand in the future, assuming she gets out of this intact.

Railroading happens, but in this case, it's not much of a problem to me. I've seen a few things that I want to do, and I've worked to try and get a few things into the story one way or another. As long as PCs have some decision as to how things go, having a mission to complete or fail... isn't railroading. It's providing direction. XD

I like the NPCs. They're interesting, from what I've seen. Sometimes, I'd like to see more, but they're interesting to ignore (they tend to have interesting reactions, at least). XD

My characters are happy so far. That's pretty much all I have to say for this section.

I'd suggest we work on it again because I miss it too, but the past tries have discouraged me. >< Mostly because it ends up being us that sorta has some of the burden of it failing. ^^;
